Maybe im missing something. I am unsure of why there are so many bad reviews about Zoom Support. I have had a contract with them for the last 2 years and they have been excellent. To be fair we haven't had anything majorly go wrong with our 3 computers during that time (or so i thought) but they have always been on hand to perform a service or if there seems to be an issue (eg: Adobe crashing) they are there to resolve it. Possibly i could spend hours myself googling how to fix things or how to "clean" my computer but i dont really want to or have the time.
My contract is due to finish so i thought i would use them a last time and asked them why my mac took so long to open and why my iTunes was so slow at opening (too lazy to have sorted it before now). They started looking through it and established that the internal drive was damaged. They have spent the last 5+ hours working on this for me and it is now resolved. i can switch on the mac and it comes on straight away and iTunes is like it has never been before.
The staff i have worked with - both by phone and over the remote system have been extremely polite and helpful and i will be in contact with them to look to take out another contract. And as a heads up always make sure you barter with them. They will go cheaper and cheaper the more times you refuse - within reason :)
Update - One thing, make sure you question the purchasing of the Mackeeper license as well as the Remote Support service. I have resolved it now but i hadn't realised that you might have to purchase both topping up the price. Apparently one complements the other but my question is "as it is a mac do you really need to have to pay out for the Mackeeper license" especially as when the remote support do the service, they use mackeeper. This may be where the bad reviews come in but at the moment im still happy with the service :)

Are negative scores possible? They should be. Mackeeper and ZoomSupport is a malware scam. Stay the Hell away from them and don’t give them one cent of your money. I’m currently needing to make a credit dispute of over $500 dollars because they were deceptive about which charges they were canceling when I decided that I no longer wanted their “services.”
Also, who wants to hazard a guess on how many of the positive “reviewers” are employee plants? Let’s make a game of it!

Just had a great experience with Simon from ZoomSupport - I was being told that my IP address had been hacked and that I needed to have a level 9 technician fix it. This would cost me $400! So I contacted ZoomSupport through MacKeeper and found Simon. He cleaned up all my issues, told me my IP had NOT been compromised and that my comp was fine - after he did a bunch of deletions, etc. Very professional, polite, overall a Great experience!

Brian helped me with setting up the Mac protection plan. He did it so quick. I told him that I wasn't computer savvy and he took his time to make sure everything went ok. He is awesome. He also found some other issues to follow up on, and will be contacting me in the future to get things fixed. Brian was very patient and answered my questions. He did a remarkable job!

Friendly people and I think the fixes they perform on your Mac are helpful, but hey, what do I know.
However, what really frustrates me is the extremely pushy sales behaviour to extend your paid subscription. After saying ‘NO’ three times, the sales person still wouldn’t stop pushing.
Also, I previously enquired if my payment would automatically renew. The person on the phone ensured it would not. During a later chat, the sales person told me that my payment would automatically be renewed and that it would be better to go for the cheaper option...
Summary: good service, awful and pushy sales behaviour!

What a great experience. My tech was Wane ? #4770. I called to ask what I thought would be a quick fix to a small problem, (beach ball kept appearing and rotating when curser was positioned over the mackeeper icon on the tool bar).
I have had service carried out before due to computer being slow, and have never been really satisfied, not sure if performance was better or not, but assumed it was as good as it could be.
Wane took over my Mac and while I was explaining my present problem to him he mentioned how slow it was, I told him thats how its been for a long time. He asked me if I could leave it with him and he would see what he could do. Wane worked on it for many hours then called me to say he had solved the problem and done a complete service, would I try it out and see if I was satisfied.
It's like having a new computer again. THANK YOU WANE.

I've been a member of Zoom for years and am always thankful that I can call on them when I suspect my computer is playing up. It has saved me a lot of travel time taking it to a technician and has proved its worth over and over again

Well, you have to understand that there always are pros and cons.
Cons? Sometimes this sales thing gets pushy. I was asked to buy mackeeper then remote fix then smth else.
BUT if you do have money and DO NOT have time to go anywhere and explain your problems this company can provide lots of help remotely and regular checkup is done without my personal intervention. looks like a good deal to me

My experience with Zoom Support has always been good. I had to reinstall the OS X Base System, didn't lose a thing. They went to Time Machine (ALWAYS BACK UP) and before you know it back in business.

The service was nice if you have money to throw out the window, but in my case being a college student this was in no way for me. I didn’t see improvement in my computer but the sites I were using allow editing of documents from multiple people at the same time and are naturally slow.

Colin was not only very helpful, but was respectable enough to let me finish what I was doing on another tab, as I did not know he was controlling my computer at the time. He installed everything I needed including more, and thoroughly explained the significance of the new software and answered all my questions. He was a great help.

I wanted to connect a Brother printer to a new Macbook and the technician spent over half an hour on the phone with me to see why the macbook wasnt detecting it. He did a malware search after installing the drivers. He advised I use Safari going forward instead of chrome to potentially reduce this issue (400+ cookies). I was a little concerned when I realized I had clicked a third-party ad instead of speaking to Brother directly, and they had screen access via LogMeIn, but this concern was overcome by the professionalism and immediate call pickup. More important than anything, when they suggested a paid service ($79) for a proper clean up and to get the printer going, there was no pressure placed on me when I stated I needed to get going and I was able to end the call feeling good.
Follow up (rating dropped from 4* to 2*): now that I think back, they didn't see the printer so they took a long route to show me problems. I may have simply needed to click the '+' button under printers to add my device. So I'm not so sure they had my best interests at heart. Going to try this again without calling in.
