Poor customer service and explanation of promotional rates. Inexperienced/poorly trained staff.
We purchased couches last June . We we're told that there would be not interest until after one year (the promotional time frame). Well that was not the case. No one explained or mentioned an accrued interest rate that would be charged for the full amout of the couches at the end of the promotional period. So we are being charged an accrued interest on top of the interest for the remaining balance.
I called comenity bank after seeing my balance almost double from my previous statement and they said " If i knew where to look online I would see the the charges that would accur if the balance wasn't paid in full."I asked them if we could pay the remaining balance without the accrued interest since it was only 10 days past the promotional time frame and they were unwilling to come to any agreement. We we told there was a 3 day grace period but now we are passed that. It feels like extortion to me. If i was notified it would have been paid in full. They say they send letters but again i pay online and view my statements online so i feel there should be warnings online,in clear view, since i don't know "where to look " as the representative stated.
I've tried calling zgallery customer service and after being on hold for 20 minutes I decided to leave a message as prompted but as soon as you push zero it takes you to a voicemail and then discontents. They also don't respond to any emails.
Very poor customer service. I will never purchase anything from zgallery nor will any of my friends and family after hearing about my poor experience.

There's simply no way in hell I will ever do business with this company again. Shame on me for not reading all of the bad press first.
I've attempted to contact them for an order status and there has been no response.
Still waiting for my order.

Beware of online purchase. If they feel like it they will not send you your order and claim “system glitch”
A purchase made on your website of items that later z Gallerie claimed was a system glitch in pricing and refuse to honor purchase. I made a large purchase on August, order number 1495820 customer ID 9687486 . The prices seem to be amazing for such an expensive company so I called the next day and asked if there was an error on their end and if I should expect a cancellation on my order they said "no there was no error it was a flash sale and i already paid the items so not to worry". I asked them to please send me a confirmation email. They said they would but I never received it. Days go by and I still don't have an update on my order so I call the company back and they tell me my order has been shipped and they were going to email me a tracking number since fedex still hadn't provided one. Days go by and still no news from z Gallerie. I called no less than 4 times and spent I've 40 minutes on hold each time. Wrote emails to corporate about my order status. There was a ticket created to find me a tracking number since the status of my order said shipped on 8/28/2029. Ticket number is 2019082363011564 and a person named Javier was going to personally take care of my case. I wait 3 days and call For a status when I was told AGAIN to give them more time to resolve the case. Finally I call 9/20/2019 and a customer service tells me that there was a glitch in their system and there was no way the company would honor the prices I received. I was transferred to a manager where I explained in detail how the situation was handled and he refused to help me. He told me no matter who I spoke with no one would help me and honor the order and that even though some orders did go out at the "glitch pricing" mine was caught before and they were going to issue a refund. I told him I did not authorize a refund especially after I spent A total of over 5 hours of hold time looking for my items in which in various occasions representatives told me they were already shipped. He told me that people were getting fired for the issues but no matter what i said I wasn't getting my order. Not only did they never reach out to me to tell me I wasn't getting my order or a refund but they handled the situation very poorly in keeping my money for 2 months

Horrible company. In July I ordered some merchandise from Z Gallerie as of today August 15th I have not received my refund the merchandise was supposed to be picked up in store. I was told that my order was not available(out of stock). Since the merchandise was not in the store for pick up I cancelled the order. I was told please allow 7 to 10 business days to receive a refund, today is the third time I've spoken with someone from Z Gallerie and I have not as of yet received my refund. They keep repeating please allow 7-10 business day and to top it off customer service has the nerve to be rude. I have been forced to go to my financial institution to try and retrieve my funds. Z Galleries business practices and customer service is really poor. I don't trust them anymore I love their merchandise but with this type of behavior I will never order from Z Gallerie again. Buyer beware!

My 1st time ever shopping with Z gallerie was a complete disappointment!!! I was so excited to place a order with this company but after the order was placed that's when the issue started!!!! They never informed me that part of my items placed will be in back order for a whole month until I called, then 1 of my orders gets delivered and it's the wrong item!!! I'm like okay that's fine mistakes happen so I proceeded to give them a call...customer service rep was not helpful at all!!! Said to ship the item back and then once we received the item then we'll then send you your correct item, I was furious said not going to happen why should I have to wait for my correct item that you messed up on. Asked to speak to a supervisor never happened. Called back again got a different rep and he stated no that's not how z gallerie works we want to provide great customer service, yeah BS!!!! I asked would I be compensated for going out of my way to return an item that they messed up on he stated yes but not until you received your correct item 1st which will be in route as soon as possible WRONG lied again not only are they not going to compensate me for my troubles but I have yet to receive my correct item nor any of my other items!!!! I said that to say this BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!!!! Dont spend thousands of dollars or even hundreds of dollars with them to be treated totally wrong!!! Glad I only spent less then $100 and not $500!!!! Not worth it you can go to homegoods, Marshalls, TJ max, and even Ross to get practically the same item for pennies on the dollar! STAY AWAY IF YOU CAN FROM THIS COMPANY!!!! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS!!!!!!

ZGallerie is bankrupt again for a reason. I ordered $600 worth of outdoor pillows 7 weeks ago and the item description said ships from the vendor in 2-3 weeks. They refuse to let me cancel the order, even though they cannot tell me when the items will actually ship. (Now it's supposedly several more weeks. Z Gallerie's credit card processor totally shut down all accounts. I spoke to the credit card company about this issue and they told me that they are getting daily calls from people with the same issue and that Z Gallerie have not paid these 3rd party vendors and that's why they refuse to ship. How is that my problem?
10 years on from Chapter 11 in 2009, and bankrupt again. False commitments on delivery, refusal to cancel my order, absolutely no information about when the order will be shipped, ALL credit cards cancelled and not paying their vendors. I'll never buy another thing from this deceitful company.

Absolutely terrible on line buying experience. Ordered 2 items back in April. One never arrived and still shows "in transit", the other was broken. Called Z Galleries customer service and reported it. They couldn't ship me a new item till they put in a claim with Fed Ex. Promised this would take 2 days. It has been weeks and more phone calls and always the same thing - they have to reach Fed Ex and find the package. On the broken one, filled out their form and sent pictures three times. No replacement, no response. I finally filed a dispute with American Express on the charge. American Express is waiting to resolve with them so I am still waiting for either my credit or actual products. Horrible! Do not order on line from them!

Categorically the worst on line retailer phone in service ever. Try calling 800-908-6748(the number they give you to call on your email receipt). On hold for 20 min. Then I click on contact them and they have another different number of 800-358-8288. On hold another 38 minutes. All the time on hold they play this truncated shrill static music that I can only guess is meant to irritate the customer so they will hang up. I feel bad for the customer service reps because the people must be really angry when they finally get through to them. Shame on ZGallerie for treating their lowest paid employees this way. Here's a thought: My call is NEVER important to you if you make me wait on hold for over 10 minutes or make me wait hours for a return call. Some overpaid honcho heads should roll at the Z!!!!

Z Gallerie no doubt has beautiful art and furniture for sale but after my experience and reading other customer reviews I will be very hesitant to purchase large furniture again. In November 2018, my wife and I decided to look at furniture at the Schaumburg location inside the Woodfield mall. I quickly fell in love with the Sequoia console and matching coffee table. I asked the associate if they usually run Black Friday specials. She said usually they offer a certain percentage off. I decided to wait and see if I could justify the price for both items after discount. Well, I ended up making a purchase on 11/27/18 and saved around $500. Initially, the console table was in stock and the coffee table was on backorder. I had no problem with this. I wanted to keep in mind that there probably were other customers who took advantage of the sale and finished out their stock. Fast forward to 12/26/18. Yes, a month later the console table was delivered. It never made it into my home. The delivery company took it out of the box in my driveway and noticed that it had a crack down the middle. Shipping company took it back and I had to wait for the replacement. Again, one month later on 1/28/19, the coffee table was delivered. This time, it was missing the glass top. A week later, on 2/5/19 my console table arrived. As of 2/27/19, I'm waiting for the glass top to be delivered in the next couple weeks. During this whole span of about 3 months, I have made several phone calls to customer service. I've had a couple representatives that were rude but looking back, those calls were made around the holidays. Again, I will keep in mind that those employees may have been stressed out dealing with all the backorder and complaints from customers. Honestly, I've spoken to quite a few representatives in the last several weeks who were not only patient but also knowledgeable and even made attempts to call me back in regards to an update. A few weeks back, a supervisor sent an email and actually called me back a few minutes after I had responded. Ultimately, this is the reason why I have to give this company 3 stars. While I did save a lot of money on the purchase, I did have to wait and continue to wait for my entire order to come in. I also have to say that overall, customer service was about average as stated earlier. Personally, in the future if I can purchase items in stock from the Z Gallerie store I will but I'm going to be very hesitant to order any large item or furniture that has to be delivered.

Pretty items are not worth disgusting treatment. Shop elsewhere or you'll likely regret it.

Z Gallery makes me so happy. When the latest catalogue lands on my desk I immediately have to look through it. They offer amazing style, the best colors and good quality for the cost. The look is so very stylish and as I work for a builder with model homes I know that I can always find the extra sharp pieces that will be memorable and create a talking point. I love visiting Zgallerie to check out their framed art and canvass painting offerings. Great variety and unique designs. I recently purchased some art online for an executive suite at our new office. The order was easy to place, and the art was shipped in great condition very quickly. I was nervous to spend a couple hundred dollars online for a triptych painting I couldn't physically see in person, but when it arrived, I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and the condition - looked just like the photo online. I would recommend purchasing online from this company, and look forward to shopping with them again. Thanks Zgallerie!
