worst company ever!!!!
the owner was super nice and helpful! but after the caravan broke down in the middle of Paris, the repair shop gave us a wrong diagnose from the problem with a time frame of A WEEK to resolve, me and my family had to stay in the repair shop the whole day and yescapa wouldn't say anything until the close time.
after that, the only solution was to go home, because they couldn't give us a new caravan. we had plans and plane tickets bought from paris to ingland for my brother a week from the day, they didt pay the replacement ticket or the ticket that we didnt use. my plans were to stay in denmak, witch i never arrived, so i had to buy a plane ticket witch they didt pay for.
they only pay for my parent's ticket, the stops, from paris to porto!!!
all the food that we had to purchase they didt pay
AND THE WORSE AFTER ALMOST 3 MONTHS THEY HAVENT PAY FOR WHAT THEY AGREED TO PAY!!! dont rent from here they only want your money, the insure that they provide sucks

We have hired MH from a few company and it’s our first time using an agent.
Personally we had no problems and the host owner Albert was so amazing (yescapa please add him as a preferred supplier).
We had brand new van, very detailed tour and we often have question on the trip and can call him no problem.
Of course I read the negative review below so was a little nervous but after spending time to pick a good MH we had a great experience.
I think the company are trying to be the airBnB of MH so there is sure to be some teething problems but just pick up and phone and call them with questions. I called them a few times and even if they didn’t answer they called me back within 30 minutes.
I’ve already recommended them to some friends and wish them luck. I and my young family had a great time.
Yescapa please send my thanks to the host. He is a credit to you.

Not the type of company you want to be dealing with in the event something goes wrong. We hired a campervan with faulty breaks. They showed no sympathy, lacked communication and still charged us 650 euro for admin costs. Do your homework and shop around. There’s better & more reliable options.

The camper was very comfortable and tidy. The owner was an extreme gentleman and also very kind and helpful. For the upcomung shooting events in Lonato will for sure rent the camper again!

We rented a campervan with them, one of us almost broke a leg because the ladder was faulty, the brakes were severely inadequate and likely lacked maintenance, and we were flagged down on the highway because a tire was on the verge of detaching!
Upon return, the owner wanted to assess the damage, and while driving it the shift knob broke in his hands! Yet Yescapa CHARGED US! 100 Euros to replace it, for a 15 years old vehicle, which was clearly lacking maintenance and proper care.

Were delivered a vehicle with battery problems that made us have to constantly stop, once while losing power steering and brakes on the highway. One windows disassembled when opened. Even while recognizing the battery issue, refused to return the deposit and tried to charge us on top. Terrible, never again!

I would like to support companies like yescape or socialcar, but the renting is never assured. It can happen like in our case, that you rent a camper but in the end the private person decides not to rent it anymore. That is why I prefer the conventional car rentals.
We rented a camper for 8 days. We booked the flights to Santander in order to pick up the camper there. Our payment was charged, the owner of the camper agreed. One week before our trip, the owner informed us that she sold the camper.
So we were screwed one week before. The chance to find a quick alternative for a similar price was almost Zero. Yescape staff was friendly, but did not really help us.
Also, the refund was paid to us with a delay of 2 weeks.
Finally, we rented a car though one the bigger car rentals at the airport of Santander. It was way cheaper but we had to pay for accomodations though.

3 days before we booked a camper through Yescapa we were notified by the owner that it broke down and would not be ready in time. Yescapa helped us very well in identifying other still available options, and removed their own fee to limit the extra cost of the new (more expensive) van.

We have used Yescapa for around a year to hire out our motorhome and found them to be fantastic. They go out of their way to help you convert enquiries into bookings, including giving you the contact details so that you can contact the person, discuss the hire and close the deal. We get a regular stream of enquiries through the platform and are very, very happy that we signed up to them.

My initial rental got cancelled by the owner 2 days before the start of it. yescapa contacted me promptly, provided me other options in the area and moved around their commission so that the new van didn't cost me more. Considering the rather annoying circumstances, they helped us out well.

The staff were very helpful when our original choice for booking was no longer available, They found us several other options which were just as good.
The website is reasonably easy to navigate and has a good choice of vehicles. The only thing that was not clear was the £600 deposit that we had to pay the day before we picked up the motor home !
Overall we had a positive experience, and would recommend.

I rent my motorhome through Yescapa and they have been a great service for me to do this. Always really helpful and sort things out quickly. Really easy site to use and a simple process for people to rent out unique motorhomes. Would highly recommend.

The worst experience I have ever had with a company. There were a lot of issues with the van we hired. But at the time it wasnt obvious such as, gas rings only working when the guy showed us it working but with the button pressed in. If you let go, it no longer worked, Many problems like this. But Yescapa said we signed the form saying all ok. The problem was the owner last minute didn't meet us and sent his friend that spoke no English. SO we couldn't ask all the questions we wanted and the owner didn't answer his phone. Yescapa have no kept our £1000 deposit and said the owner has said we didn't clean the van!!!! But he also asked his friend to sign form when we gave it back to say all ok. BIg problems with this van, too many to write. So, WE cant complain after, but HE can. They are thieves and will do anything to get extra money from you. AVOID!

booked a MH 6 months in advance and paid deposit. When uploaded documents they wouldnt accept the 6 points on the license for insurance purposes leaving me no option but to say Ok lets cancel then. They then took 30% of my deposit for cancellation ... I had no choice but to cancel !!! not sure this is legal...avoid at all costs

Broken van and no refund
I booked a van with a few months in advance. Two says before the first day of my book I found out that the previous customer had broken a window and the owner was waiting for a new window and I could not use the van for at least two days. So I did not have a place to stay in Galicia. I was travelling with my 3 years old son, just the two of us. So that is a problem anyway. Yescapa changed my booking to two days later (without asking me) and the owner offered me staying for free in the van while we waited for the window. I accepted because I could not find a hotel in July in high season. 3 days later the window had not arrive and I decided to leave. Yescapa paid the owner and he gave his part of the money back to me but they kept the commission and the insurance and they say that I have to pay for the insurance (more than 100€) although I could not move the van. Amazing! I do not recommend it at all. They can just spoil your holidays and you pay for services that you did not have. Unbelievable!
