i had a very nasty bout with xidax ,, to make a long story short they put a laptop computer together for me that was gaming specs, while the computer was good for a couple years, the salesman lied to me telling me i could replace my video card, which this wasnt true. i had them take my computer on 2 reapairs within 2 years, meanwhile my wife and her HP walmart never had one issue, i contacted segar because xidax told me i would have to get another GPU, and they got from sager, sagear is so overpriced and after a second computer i bought to eliminate xidax, same junk. Xidax while they do piece computers together they do not do many things in their office like even replacing a GPU.. i would never do business with them or saeger, to make it right they sent me 3 cheap ass t shirts that are horrible quality , along with a pc mouse..the company is great to talk to but when you have a issue and you will be prepared to get jerked around i even had the warranty...

Bought a hi-end computer for my son for Christmas. Was looking at an Alien Auroa but ended up with Xidax (my kid found the company). Price was cheaper, service was great in configuring, the machine showed up and has worked great. Only issue was the service person helping my son configure the software tried to up-sell him on some anti-virus subscription -- this gal probably spent a total of 2 or 3 hours helping him configure and sell him. Anyways, he declined the up-sell but did get everything set up properly. Its only been six months but he is very pleased with the system.

Xidax has always given excellent customer service. I've never been disappointed or dissatisfied with anything they've ever done. They've always surpassed my expectations and keep raising the bar. 11/11!

Dont give them any money to build you a piece of trash computer with lows specs and they offer a computer with a 1660 super and an outdated motherboard. Their customer service is less than poor. Just buy from costco or build your own computer.

I was going to college at the Art Institute and needed a good laptop for rendering and graphics. Also I am a gamer so two birds with one stone as they say. I received my laptop and was pretty happy. Until around a year later it crashed on me. I called them up and they said that it would be covered under warranty. I wanted to make sure it was because I was going through quite a bit of family problems. When I called them about the repair they told me that it was the mother board and it needed to be replaced. They then told me that it would not be covered under warranty because the tape I put on the top of the packaging came loose....well I was still having problems at home and it continued for a long time. To make a long story short....THEY RECYCLED MY $3,000 LAPTOP and told me tough $#*! we don;t care....even though I kept in contact and was desperately trying to get the $580 to get it back.

know your $#*! before buying from them. ordered hard drive latter i could not afford at 1st just went with a small ssd i got a 6TB WD Black HDD they way charged me twice the amount for . a few things are shady with the company besides that i been pleased there so called tech support is a bit lacking as they want use 3rd party software if needed to fix any thing you would need to send in even if the 3rd party software is free. i also had hardest time getting my free games that came with some of my hard ware. also shorted me on extra things came with motherboard a little here a littel there they will try to make as much money off you as possible. i got a xidax based on the idea i get life time warranty but dam did i pay for that warranty big time. buy a system from them they gonna charge you mark up prices on the parts used may be paying double. like i did just buying the hard drive from them

Bought my PC about 4 years ago. The service was mediocre. I had to call 3 times to get my secondary hard drive. They forgot the cables to install it. I still have an issue of it crashing if it ever goes into sleep mode. I had to format the hard drive due to some shoddy install of windows 10 that left some lingering windows 7 fragments. I don't even know where to begin with that problem. All in all, I would say there are better companies or you should just learn to stick a PC together yourself. YouTube can teach you pretty much anything. Tried to leave a review on another site and they called my review fraudulent because my order number wasn't real. I submitted my receipt to prove my purchase and my review still hasn't made it back up on the site.

I'm a gamer. Gamers are concerned with DPS. Previously, I've bought gaming rigs of several "major" brands. Time came for yet another new rig. I went to the Xidax website and started to configure a build. That's when my DPS drastically increased. It's not what you think. At Xidax my DPS came in the form of Drew Wilcox, the Sales Manger who helped me configure a build appropriate for my gaming habits. I call it "Drew Per Second," or DPS, because he stayed with me and gave me great insight into how to build the best rig for my purposes. He was totally awesome. A couple of days later, I went back to the Xidax website to complete my order and, again, talk with Drew. And again, I had some awesome DPS going down. What a great experience. I now have my new Xidax gaming system and I'm enjoying my gaming FAR more ever before. Having an actual gaming rig that has been custom built by people who know gaming vs. one of those "off the shelf" so-called gaming computers available where you also buy toilet paper, makes a huge difference. If you need a gaming rig, or if you just want to upgrade to the ultimate, contact Xidax. If you're lucky enough to have Drew as your guy at Xidax, then you've arrived at DPS heaven. Happy gaming.

I was shopping around for quite some time. Xidax SEEMED solid so I ordered a XM-10 laptop for a little over $3333.75. I had it rush delivered because I was excited to get it. Absolutely no issues. It was built and shipped quickly.
Before I even opened the box, I checked out their website to find an XM-11 with thunderbolt and dual graphics. I wanted thunderbolt. I messaged a rep and asked if I could send mine back and have it configured. The rep said that I could send it back and they would build me a NEW XM-11 which was cool. I paid the difference of over $500 to add thunderbolt and the dual graphics and the rep made it clear that as soon as my XM-10 is received then the guys at Xidax can start building my XM-11. I ship this laptop back immediately and bit that cost of +$50. It was slated to arrive on November 30th but it arrived December 2nd. Thanks USPS.
A few days go by and I'm thinking that my order is being built and I'm getting excited. I hadn't heard anything from Xidax however - I received no build photos - no updates - nothing. I message a rep on December 9th to then find out that the XM-10 was never accredited to my account although it was received a week prior. He said that the person who dealt with accrediting orders was out sick so it never happened - yet he was able to do it right there and then during our conversation? I was pissed off. Fortunately, the rep was nice and accommodating. He said that he would expedite the whole order and that I was likely to receive it on Saturday the 12th. I was leaving the country for a few days on the 14th so I was excited that he'd be able to make that work. He also gave me 2 game codes. He gave me my tracking info so I could stay in the loop with my order. Thursday I get an email that the laptop cant run Windows 7 for some reason so I agree to Windows 10 Pro. Outside of that I see no updates on the Xidax Order Tracking page - and to my amusement I see that my order was supposed to ship on the 8th! HA It was the 10th and there still werent even build photos. I message a rep that night and he has absolutely no answers for me. He said he would message me Friday, 9AM Central time. I never hear from the guy. So I message them AGAIN. I ask the rep whats up with my order . I explained to him that I was supposed to receive the laptop on Saturday - guy has no idea whats going on. Finally he emails me. "Your order will be shipping on monday!" I am so pissed off. I let him know that I'm extremely disappointed with my experience with Xidax. He doesn't even bother answering me and this guy is supposedly the Vice President of the company. Saturday I start seeing updates on my order. I ask the same rep if he would be shipping out my laptop expedited since Xidax $#*!ed up so many times. Doesn't bother answering. The laptop then ships monday evening. I check the tracking number and it was sent out GROUND. After all the bull$#*! I had to deal with they ship it out ground.
I receive my laptop on Monday 21st .The first thing I realize is that Xidax had FALSELY ADVERTISED. The website had a video of the XM-11 that shows a laptop with a Thunderbolt 2 port. I ordered this laptop thinking that it would have TB2 because I have a lot of hard drives with it. What arrived was a laptop with TYPE-C USB/Thunderbolt 3 - XIDAX NEVER advertised this on their site. I was really annoyed. I messaged a rep with my frustrations and suggested that they be more specific on their site so that they don't deceive other customers and they have yet to do so. THEN I realize that I DONT HAVE THE DUAL GRAPHICS CARD. I am furious. I messaged a rep immediately to make sure and he tells me that they gave me the Desktop version of the 980 graphics card. He says that I can send it back at no cost and they will fix it and send it back. But WHY THE F*** would I want to keep working with this unreliable company? I was so fed up that I just told him I wanted to return the laptop. At this point he asks for my number and calls me. We speak and I tell him that I wouldn't want to have a computer from an unreliable company. He doesn't even really try too hard to keep me as a customer and says that he will send me the return info. The real kick in the teeth is that they refused to cover shipping. That is poor customer service. I wouldn't be returning the laptop if Xidax hadnt messed up. I bit the shipping cost again. It arrived January 4th and I've emailed them and have yet to hear back. A week later and no one answers me emails - again. I call twice and finally get a refund receipt.
Anyone looking to invest in a laptop LOOK ELSEWHERE. This ordeal has set me back on work and personal projects. I work in the NY film industry which is a tight knit community and you better believe you me, I will never recommend Xidax to anyone. Congratulations Xidax on spoiling a relationship with a customer and ruining a chance to gain many more.
