If you are looking for a goto website for weather and weather forecast keep looking. If you are looking for a website dedicated to pounding you with advertisements, well then you found it.
Not long ago I could nearly depend on the daily and 10 day forecasts. Daily forecasts were close enough that I could plan out my daily activities. Oh, yes they still provide a long range forecast, but not for my area. It is specific to an area that is not even close to property with different of about 1500 feet of elevation.
Lets talk about the good things still coming from wunderground.com. Yes, the ads! So many ads. Who else can put 20 ads on a webpage! Maybe they should put some of that ad revenue into updating and fixing the website.
I will miss all the great information on climate change! Oh, yes Climate Change! It was an article on Weather Underground that caused me to truly understand what they are talking about. Well, that article prompted me to do some internet searches where I learned that weather records have been recorded since 1880! The records indicate that the earths climate "average" has changed. Yes, I do believe it. Scientist also believe New York was once under ice. The point is the worlds weather has risen, wait for it, approximately 1.5 degrees fahrenheit above the "average". For the global weather believers, educate yourselves by doing some research on your own.
Good bye Weather Underground, may you rest in peace.
Oh, how about pulling the site from the net? Wait, they can't do that if no one is actually updating the site!

Intellicast was a great site, informative and easy to navigate. Everything was intuitive and understandable. The former weather underground was helpful. Ever since they merged they have abandoned all that was good about either. Not intuitive at all. Some of the best previous features are missing. Trying to find what you want is all a matter of guesswork. Whoever redesigned the sight should be fired and if legally possible shot.

Can't see a weather radar summary of my region. Intellicast was so much better and easier. Weather Underground is a horrible site and whoever is responsible for taking over Intellicast should be fired!

How can you screw up a GREAT Weather Site?
Let Weather Underground take it over.
I don't need 100 characters, but review must be at least 100 characters.

Intellicast was my go-to site for weather for a couple of decades. Wunderground was not bad--they were the only site to have good hurricane track models. Now Intellicast with it's excellent maps, forecasts, and historical data is gone, and Wunderground is awful. It's unbelievable how badly IBM can foul things up. Epitome of FUBAR.

Wunderground.com used to be a great weather site. Since it was acquired by Weather.com which in turn was acquired by IBM, its usability has steadily declined. The link to NOAA discussion for your area no longer works, the 10-day outlook has quit displaying reliably. I've written to wunderground feedback and received no reply. This is death from a thousand cuts.

Intellicast unfortunately was taken over by the weather channel (weather underground) and has ruined a perfectly good format.

Not sure what happened. I used to love this site for it's info and radars, now it's nothing but a bunch of useless garbage. Don't bother!

I run a landscape/snow company and used intellicast in a daily basis and was an awesome tool! Wunderground when lucky enough to load is total junk! If you try running on a private browser mode won't load at all. It's obvious it's only a cookie and spam site now. Looking for a new weather service.

I don't think they maintain the site any more. Nothing works right. Shut it down!

The radar maps are totally destroyed and useless... wtf? They used to be reliable and useable, now nothing seems to work.

They took the best weather site, intellicast and destroyed it. Performance is abysmal. Almost impossible to get an hourly forecast in time for the next hour to hit. 10 day forecast takes just about 10 days to render. LOL ... But really, you, 100% of the time have to hit Ctrl f5 for the 10 day forecast to show any data. Then god forbid you want to see the hourly for a particular day and then go back to the 10 day forecast. This site was programmed by a bunch of people that have no freaking idea how to program web sites. I cant believe anyone would want their ad on this site. It just turns you off.

I had been a supporting member of Weather Underground since the beginning. But over the last several years they have become more and more difficult to use. The apps became a joke and the website is a a disaster. The failure of the FTP weather cam site and the frequent dropping of my weather data have become the final straw. I have deleted my account and disconnected my data stream.

wunderground used to be the best place for weather, their weather maps were the best and now pretty much unresponsive. Quit outsourcing, hire someone who knows what they are doing. Your web dev team is terrible. The site is super slow and the nexrad radar doesn't work properly.

I have been a subscriber for 12 years, and have seen the features and reliability decline step by step. Each time it changes hands ( sold to the Weather Channel and then to IBM) it becomes less than what it was. Sadly predictable I guess, but what I can't understand is why the guy who founded it, Dr. Jeff Masters, can bear to remain associated with it. Are you listening Dr Jeff?

Years ago the site was uncluttered and was able to present large amounts of scientific data in a single screenful effectively and without being overwhelming. You could quickly access, find and visually scan data. Now it is a mess of jumbo display elements that require lots of scrolling. A single metric such as pollen index now requires about half a megapixel of display space on my monitor. The site has become sluggish and there are so many functional defects. Even simple things such as differentiating the units of temperature seem to be beyond the capability of the site's developers now. If they rolled back to about 2005 a huge proportion of their user base would be extremely grateful.

Use to be able to search around quickly and open to your location automatically.
Now I can't even save my settings in radar maps. Severe weather approaches and by the time you open your own page, the sun is shining and the weather has past!

Sick of trying to use weather under-grounded now. Loads way to slow, and sometimes regional views don't change for days! Same, exact view as two days ago! USELESS! Tried signing up, and logging in as well. No difference, except now they can spam up my inbox somehow. Switching to MUCH better/faster weather service. Too bad, because W.U. used to be really good in the past.

I have been posting my personal weather station data and using weather underground since about 2000. HOWEVER, the WeatherChannel has destroyed what once was a great site. I think the latest fall over the cliff was the notice I received.
"The Weather Underground email program is unfortunately coming to an end as of October 1, 2019. You can continue receiving the world's most accurate weather forecasts, real time weather alerts and much more all while on the go. Visit wunderground.com or download the Weather Underground app on your mobile device or tablet and sign up for our weather alerts & notifications via the settings menu. Additional information can be found here."
Very disappointing in the turn in their service towards being lack luster, the website change is terrible and now the forecasts.

I stumbled across this some time ago for my very own subdivision and it used to be pretty accurate. Last month that changed dramatically. Now when it's really raining, they say the sun is out. Then when the radar says clear, it is raining! The worst is showing rain totals. We just had rain all day and the local tv station said 1.7" accumulation. The wunderground site says .02....yikes!! Don't know what happened but this is really useless now. If there was a negative rating, would have said that!

So disappointed how the weather channel has ruined what was my go-to site for weather information. The site now is so ad-laden, slow and buggy that it is unusable and just keeps getting worse. Such a fall from the great site it was before being taken over.

wu is slow, it has an uncomfortable and poorly made interface, tons of creepy ads, full of bugs also (now for example, it refuses to show the hourly forecast - loads it at first, but after a second it drops out).
bad site in general - still far away from intellicast. two stars only for the fact that wu started to load faster - two months ago it could not load even the main forecast sometimes.
p.s. it's sad that such intellectual service as intellicast.com was killed. so many people around the world used it... hope that responsible persons will find the nessesity to fix their mistake and, to begin with, return the old intellicast not matter under what name

I cannot save locations and the weather maps do not auto update. No weather symbols on map. These features were part of Intellicast.

I was extremely leary when Weather Wunderground combined with my intellicast. At first it was fine. But now it just plain sucks!!!!!! I want my 10 day forcasts back. I want Intellicast back. I need good weather for my job. This sucks. Hated Weather Wunderground before they combined. Really hate them for taking over Intellicast. This sucks.

What used to be a comprehensive, incredibly useful and user friendly website is now lost somewhere, seemingly without a plan to do anything about it.
Four stars is how I used to feel about Weather Underground.
Now it's just the one star. I hope that it can soon return to the four it then deserved.
