I initially was cool with my wix site but that was before I became a bit more educated on its limitations and my main and number 1 complaint is that you CANNOT get in touch with a live person for specific website related issues that you can't find an answer to in the FAQ's. It makes me wonder why they seem to try their hardest to avoid human contact. I really need some support regarding the mobile version of my website and I see absolutely no where to reach a person by phone, email, chat or other. Such a disappointment..so much so that I am now looking into another platform that offer support. I switched from a Vistaprint platform, of which I was able to speak with a live person to assist with questions or difficulties I had to Wix with NO SUPPORT. I dislike having to write these kind of reviews but I feel like something needs to be said for the sake of improvement.

Junk. Looks catchy at first but when you build you realize how janky it is. Desktop and Mobile are just too far off. I've gone back to WP because of this. Trying to make each version adequate is clunky and frustrating. THEN YOU HAVE TO UPGRADE TO ADD MORE FORM FIELDS!

i decided to download the wix app to track sales on my website, it seem so easy to see full orders, including what the customer ordered and their address. wix app showed several orders which i shipped out in a 2-3 day time span. all customers received their orders . Congrats to me !!! I go check my payout status a few days later on the website and noticed multiple payments have failed ( the app shows all customers have paid) wtf ! i've sent people orders that have not paid, i've lost so much at this point ad contacting support is a dead end. They're actually agreeing the payments failed but not acknowledging that they show the items say paid on the site and accepting the fact that i sent the orders out. they need to be held responsible . like this is the worst experience ever as a first time business owner to be losing money and products.

Started this site in 2015 for another business and it was fine. Now starting in October 2019 two new businesses and two premium websites with emails and domains through Wix and I changed the name of one of them within a couple of days after buying a domain and an email box and they won’t refund the domain name and the email box it’s just a refusal they won’t work with me they won’t give me the money back like 50 something dollars when I’m buying all this other stuff from their company. There’s no discussion it just keeps getting refused by email. I can’t stand companies that rip you off and take money without providing the service.

I was a happy customer of 2 years with no comments or complaints until this years' renewal was automatically taken (without authorisation from me) when I challenged it I was told there is nothing they can do as the payment has already been taken. Also been charged again for an additional 2 year subscription (which I didn't want) again, nothing they can do so now I'm lumbered with a 3 year subscription.
The site itself it easy to use and websites come out sleek etc. However the customer service and billings "policies" are garbage. If I hadn't already unwittingly paid for the next THREE YEARS I would pull my website so not to deal with the CS again.

Transferred my blog over the WIX hoping to make edits easier. Found out after the fact they format their URLs differently and you can't change them so all the links for my previous 7 years of posts no longer clickable. Had to switch back to WP.
I tried to cancel within the free trial but couldn't. Then was denied 2 times when I requested an exception. No explanation why. No way to actually talk to someone on the phone.
Having to go through my bank to attempt to get a refund.
I DO NOT recommend them on many things but most of all the inability to talk to someone.

The website builder is adequate and pretty user friendly. There is no live customer service. I am not the most computer savy person and after exhausting all the help resources I needed some verbal help. When you go to the "request a call back" it always says they have "a problem" and to "check back in 10 minutes." The phone support option is a scam. WIX is holding out that they have phone support, which they do not. So WIX is scamming people with that claim. Cancelled services.

Terrible functions, lots of hidden costs.
Used Wix for 6 months on a premium package, but functions of site was very poor. Migrated away from Wix even though I had several months left on package.
Wix still (without prior notification) billed me for another 12 months even though I had migrated away from them. They said the renewal was non-refundable, but would probably make an exception in my case. At best the advisor said it will take a month for me to get my money back. Otherwise I'll need to use lawyers.
Overall, Wix is a con!!! Low headline prices, poor functions and clandestine charges.

There's a valid reason why this company has a 1.5-star rating. I'd leave zero if I could because MY COMPANY WEBSITE HAS BEEN DOWN FOR WEEKS. Customer service is nil and I don't mean figuratively. The phone number sends you back to their website to choose from random listing choices, none of which relate to website being offline. Beware: there is no way to stop billing renewal without deleting your site immediately and they charge you weeks BEFORE the renewal date—good luck getting your money back.

Great website builder but customer service is not good at all. They do not resolve any issues and they are negligent with credit card information. I was charged by Wix twice and one of the charges they have no idea where it went or came from but me and my bank can confirm it is from Wix because it says Wix.com. They cancelled my subscription, then I end up paying more for my subscription and my card is blocked. The Wix representative recommended to contact my bank in the first place about the charge and as a customer for 4 years, now I am suffering the consequences; very frustrating!

Horrible customer service!!! bought a logo downloaded it and cant even access it. I was in the middle of creating postcards for my business when it was time to upload my logo a message pop up stated that the file is damaged because it was sent as an email attachment and wasn't correctly decoded. I put in a help ticket and they sent me directions to create and buy another logo. Called the support center number and they told me to go the website and look at the FAQ and then hung up....Horrible Horrible Horrible!

I have no questions to the platform so far, but Customer Service is horrible. I've paid for mailbox and somewhy there appeared an error on the screen, but still money were withdrawn from my bank account. Wix says that money didnt come, I've called to my bank and they provided confirmation code and certificate confirming that payment went through. After I gave the info to Wix, they just wanished and now already for a week I'm getting the same message about how I have to wait for them to figure everything out. And thats a question of 5 minutes.

Stay the hell away from Wix payments, unless you want to live your worst admin nightmare. We launched the site, did not connect a payment method as we were also trying to meet a deadline onboarding with Lowes, next thing we know a customer calls...hey where is my order? Turns out wix turned the payment acceptance on without our knowledge or consent. We were not expecting orders on that site, as everything was marked at MAP pricing and we figured if anyone wanted to order they would have to call as the payments were not set up. OK so we were a little slow processing it simply because we were not aware of it until then, but we sent the lady a 1k wardrobe. I call to make sure that everything is filled out to Wix payments satisfaction, I explain the company has been around since the 90s and is a well known brand. They say all looks well go ahead ship the other orders. Ok we do that and I leave to Canada to visit family. In the middle of my vacation I get a notice that if we do not add a whole bunch of pages to the site and send them a laundry list of documentation within seven days, they will refund the customers..the ones we already shipped. Freaking out, I call them and say please do NOT refund the customers, they HAVE THEIR STUFF!!!! I beg for more time to update the site, since I did not have access to a pc from Canada and was on VACATION. I tell my client to send the info they want asap. I get back from Canada only to find out that they have closed the account and are threatening to refund the customers. We are out thousands of dollars in shipped inventory at this point. I beg to speak to someone. No, there is nobody you can talk to, the Royal Payments Team will only communicate by email. I try to get past the first tier of agents, only to be put on hold for OVER TWO HOURS. Turns out they could not be bothered to open my client's email (that was on the account) because it did not originate from the one email they had for the admin. I spend the next two days, wasting HOURS begging, emailing, yelling, begging more to please expedite the process, as they are saying it will take 60 days to review, fund the account etc. OH MY GOD. After all this we finally got paid literally about 4 weeks after shipping the stuff. We got a square account which took all of one day. Stay away from Wix payments, you cannot call them, they are insanely slow to act and respond, and are very quick to freeze funds. They also have such an over the top list of criterea, square never asked for a fraction of any of that stuff..

Used their logo maker... biggest mistake!!
I am really hoping people see this before purchasing their services. When you actually get the files through to use, your logo will be the worst quality - so much so you couldn't even read the strap line underneath. Have been back and forth with emails - they ignore half of what you ask and they will forever just play dumb and say everything is absolutely fine with the logo. Basically making out that your a stupid - even though you can 100% not see the writing and everything is really fuzzy as well as it being grey and not black. They will also try to get you to purchase it all another time - yes because that's exactly what you are going to do when it didn't work the first time. They will say things regarding Instagram and it makes the quality worse, yet sell you a package that apparently resizes it for the platform so it ISN'T fuzzy... Overall please do not use this company - they are complete frauds!! It's no wonder they have a strict no refund policy as the company would be going under if they had to give money back...
