I delivered the Washington Post and The Washington Star in the early 1970s; during the Watergate Scandal era. There were more Post readers than Star readers in those days. Both were good newspapers, for the most part. The Star no longer exists. The Post has deteriorated drastically. It's not worth the cost of subscription, they have nothing to offer. Reporting at the Post has lost nearly all objectivity. Now it's just a rag full of liberal opinion, sensationalism, yellow journalism and trite drivel masquerading under the guise of news journalism (some might argue that was the case 40 to 50 years ago too). It's the epitome of yellow journalism. Bezos turned it into his own skewed political platform, with a focus on click bait, advertising and internet trackers. They have no real interest or focus in news journalism and objective reporting, just yellow journalism, sensationalism, and click bait. Lately, they won't even allow visiting their website in browser private mode. A dung heap tabloid.

Unreliable extremely biased and pushing false narratives. More like bloggers rather than journalists.

This site has quite a few trackers as well as spreads what amounts to a good number of biased and misleading articles that are actually opinion pieces. Commenting is now moderated to the point of unduly censoring comments.
Now there is active blocking of portable devices that use adblocking software by the Post.
This is not C. Graham's post but the Jeff Bezos version.

The Washington post is probably one of the leading media sources, Oh no don't take that in a good way, What I am saying is; leading Make it up as you go along media sources. They stand in the way of reform for AMERICANS, is it possible the Washington post is just another Terrorist obama organization? So let's get real, no opinion that would be the current way of reporting. the post stands in the way of everything President Trump has proposed and attempts to improve our quality of life. What I mean when I say our, I mean Americans, living breathing, tax paying, working, families who are struggling because obama has given so much assistance to the others who enter our Great Nation that do none of the above, that kind of our. That is not an opinion, that is a fact, report on that washington post, you hide, (you cowards, another lesson learned from obama,), behind your freedom of speak amendment and block whatever you can. America, STOP buying any Product which is Advertised from or part of the Washington post, hit them in their pocket until they wake up and START to report TRUTH, if at all possible. Send a message to ALL the advertisers that WE THE PEOPLE, will not allow this to go on any further. This is what we can do, we are the LIFE BLOOD of America, lets choose where the blood pumps.

Usually, great reporting from journalists who write well and use evidence-based methods. Sometimes, journalists don't use facts because they may be reporting beliefs or opinions, which can be good in that context because it shows cultural and social beliefs. Sometimes, I am frustrated that the Post uses sub-par reporting, like cases where young journalists speak about a subject in poor writing with little knowledge that reads like a bad blog post. As an old millennial or young gen-x, I appreciate different perspectives, but I don't believe all opinions and views should be written about or published in an admired newspaper when those views and opinions don't add substance to a conversation or engage a reader.

I used to feel that reputable information came from this paper... However, in light of recent political events I am beginning to feel slighted as an American by their seemingly biased and non-fact-based articles published. Seems like a load of conspiracy theories, sold by the bushel--yet they attempt to destroy other reporters whom use fact-based theologies. Tsk. Tsk.

Safe to Browse, even for kids of all ages.
This is a very popular news website. This is the best site for unbiased political news.
I trust this website, but I might not agree with every article they have. Like any website, take what they say with a grain of salt, and do you research.
I do find this to be an excellent unbiased news source on the internet.

When following a link to this site, there's a pop-up covering all the content that REQUIRES and email to make it disappear so that they can send you spam. Very sleazy behavior.

Biased mainstream media website that purposely rips on things that their opinions adjust to.
Reports have shown that they once released a double-digit number of NEGATIVE articles about a certain Democratic candidate in attempt to curve the people and their opinions.

I don't believe in red-flagging a site because of its content. The Washington Post is safe to visit for your computer, of course, and is thus green-lit. However, there are much better places to go for news than this site. It becomes increasingly apparent that the Washington Post has no intent to hide their blatant establishment bias. The fixation their entire editorial board has with the Bernie Sanders campaign is unhealthy, at best. Multiple times a day, or even hourly, the Washington Post runs a hit piece on Sanders' campaign. Media coverage as a whole is pathetic in the Untied States, from a journalistic-morality view, and the Washington Post seems to breed on misinformation and bias. With each passing day they become less of a news outlet and more of an establishment propaganda machine. It rivals Fox in its lack of professionalism. The Washington Post is easily one of the least productive media outlets the United States has at the national level. Okay. Rant over. Go home.

Excellent news source with high emphasis on journalistic standards and investigative reporting. Rated cautious for children because news accounts can contain material unsuitable for some children.

Pretty reasonable news source. They also use SSL for their whole domain, which is a huge + for security!
