Excellent job done by Joy Blankenship . In 2014 I had significant business losses, but IRS rejected to except my tax return and requested $32k+ in additional taxes. I paid thousands $$ to so called "tax specialists" from H&R, Fiducial and others. Nothing happened. Unpaid Tax Balance grown to $46k. In 2019 IRS placed liens against my property and began garnishment. At this time I was recommended to get help from Joy Blankenship . She is smart, professional and what is most important knowledgeable. She took my case to IRS in April and three months later IRS removed liens and sent me a refund for garnished money. Problem solved. Brilliant job. Thanks to Joy Blankenship. I would definitely recommend her service to a friend!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANYTHING. They will lead you on for years with no resolution to your tax problems and collect their large fee every month. Don’t do it😡😡
Walls responded to my review with a lame answer. Look people listen to me, as a previous customer of Walls.....DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY......you will regret it. Go online and look at reviews . There is/ was a case action lawsuit against them for misrepresentation. There are so many bad reviews. I wished we had researched before we got sucked in.
And plus Walls, you did no favor to us, we paid for everything you claimed you did, which was nothing!! The couple of months we did not have to pay was because of something you did not do; and It does not compare to the thousands of dollars we paid for inept service. Our lives are so happier now since Wall is no part of it. Listen people do not, again I will say, do not use this company

I am convinced any good review here is a fake. This company took $30,000.00 from us and provided NO HELP in almost 18 months ! We had to hire another attorney (a reputable one) who did resolve our tax issue in just a few months. Wall and Associates took our money upfront and monthly. They would never return my calls or update us, they gave us extremely poor advice which got us into MORE trouble with the IRS, our bank accounts were cleaned out by the IRS several time (which W and A said they would protect us and did not). The Attorney General of Virgina has filed a lawsuit against Wall and Associates for alleged violations of the Virginia Consumer Protection Act. We are told we probably will not recover any of the $30,000.00 they stole from us but I am glad they cannot do this to anyone else !!!

I contacted Wall & Associates requesting a consultation. I spoke to Mr. Damask on the phone. I relayed concerns about paying for services up front. Mr. Damask assured me that Wall & Associates Inc. did not require payment until the entire matter was resolved and the work had been performed.
I met Mr. Damask for the consultation, at the end of which he asked for my credit card information. Believing this was for a consultation fee I wrote the information down. As we were leaving the consultation Mr. Damask instructed me to call my bank and authorize a withdrawal of “15.” I asked, “$1,500.00?” He said, “No, $15,000.00.”
I questioned how he came up with that amount and Mr. Damask replied “If you think you can do better on your own be my guest.”
Due to the inadequacy of Mr. Damasks explanation in addition to his hostile response to my question I decided that I no longer felt comfortable with Mr. Damask providing me any representation. Furthermore Mr. Damasks explanation of the payment process on the phone did not match what was happening in person. I decided to go to my bank and have my credit card changed. I did not want Mr. Damask having access to that information.
The following day I received a message from Mr. Damask demanding the correct credit card information. I told him I didn’t feel he had been honest with me and that I would not cooperate.
Mr. Damask immediately called and left several harassing voicemails along with a text message calling me dense, a liar, and a criminal.
I contacted Wall & Associates and informed them of Mr. Damasks behavior. I heard nothing back from Mr. Damask for the rest of the day. The following day, Mr. Damask contacted me again with harassing messages insulting me for reporting his behavior to his employer. I had to block his phone number. Despite reporting this behavior twice I have received no response from Wall & Associates.

These people are crooks. They run you around and they do absolutely nothing. They don't return your calls. Do yourself a favour and call your attorney general to find a reputable tax relief firm. This company is being sued by more then one state for fraud! Stay clear of them. Don't believe one single positive review on here.

I'm a first time business owner and found myself $80k in dept due to mishandling my tax filing and lack of communication with the IRS. Mrs. Brandi Hendricks and the Wall & Associates team help me to suspend incorrect payments and avoid tax liens from the IRS. The process was slow at first. Once I applied myself to help out, I discovered where I was making my mistakes. Brandi and I worked together for quick response and resolution from the IRS. As the result, my tax bill was reduced from $80k to $6k. Thank you Brandi and Wall & Associates for your professional help!

Excellent company to do business with. They stayed on top of my case and updated me as needed. I owed the state $80,000 and they got me a Offer-In-Compromise for $8900 paying $150 a month until paid off. Would definitely recommend them to anyone having federal or state tax issues. They removed a big burden off our shoulders.

I have had two experiences using the services of Wall & Associates for assistance and support in dealing with the IRS.
My first tax situation was for settling back taxes which had accumulated due to business issues, and which related to unfiled tax returns for several years. The IRS had calculated the total owed as over $90,000 with penalties and interest. I had tried to access assistance from another firm for help in settling the matter prior to finding Wall & Associates. I made no progress with that other firm after paying them a significant flat fee up front.
Rather unnerved, exasperated and fearful of the unknown ahead, I began searching for another option and found Wall & Associates. They initiated action right away on my behalf. Jessica Smith of Wall & Associates was assigned to my case and she worked very diligently for close to two years - then finally reached an agreeable compromise with the IRS on my behalf. I was very glad that Wall & Associates had worked with me on a flat fee up front basis, as my total fee from them may have been much higher if they had been charging me on an hourly basis. Jessica Smith got the disputed amount settled with the IRS as an “Offer in Compromise” for approximately $17,000. It probably could have been settled for much less, except that I had accumulated a balance in a 401k by then, and because of this the IRS refused to go any lower on the settlement amount.
I feel that Jessica Smith of Wall & Associates did a great job in getting me all the way through the “Offer in Compromise”! She knows the system, she knows the paperwork, she knows how to handle IRS personnel, and she knew how best to handle me when I was at a time of great distress. Jessica is quite easy to work with, being friendly and personable. I had good confidence in Jessica throughout the process that things would turn out ok, and they did.
Since the time of my “Offer in Compromise” settlement I have been successfully and timely doing my own tax returns using Turbo Tax software. At completion of my tax return each year, Turbo Tax software always offers the option of obtaining a “Tax Audit Defense” Certificate for a small fee (less than $100). This is essentially the purchase of their support offering and their assistance in case of a tax audit. I have always opted in – just for extra security as something of an “insurance” policy, as I am still jittery about the IRS. I did this even though I never really knew what services Tax Audit Defense would provide for me in the event of a tax audit. Then my second tax situation occurred. I was notified around Thanksgiving 2018 that my 2016 tax return had been pulled for an audit by the IRS. The first thing I did was contact Tax Audit Defense (the Turbo Tax program) and alert them of the tax audit. They “sprung” into action immediately, asked for a copy of my IRS notice letter, and then essentially proceeded to tell me I had no choice but to do everything and provide everything exactly as the IRS had asked for it – some help that was! To add insult to injury, they pressured me via email frequently to demand, and seemingly add threats to my life that I must hurry up and get information submitted or I would suffer penalties from them!!! I felt like I got absolutely no help at all from Tax Audit Defense and received no value add in exchange for the monies I had paid then over the past 10 years. I was very frustrated and felt very let down by Tax Audit Defense. The very next thing I did was call Jessica Smith of Wall & Associates, told her my situation, and asked her if she would “rescue” me again. She once again took me and my tax audit case on, for a very fair and reasonable fee. She immediately took REAL action, contacted the IRS on my behalf and skillfully began guiding me along a success path of developing an appropriate document package, that as it would turn out, got me through the upcoming tax audit with my pain and distress quite minimized. Jessica told me that my tax audit had been a “random” audit, and that my return had not been selected because of an observed deficiency in the return itself. With Jessica’s great support, I was basically able to carry on my normal life through the audit process.
My experience with Wall & Associates is one of confidence and success! As you can probably guess, I would recommend Wall & Associates, and I will use them again, should the need arise.
Best wishes in your own tax endeavors,

My husband and I hired wall and associates. I was told that a team of lawyers would be working on my case and that it was fairly easy . Which is a lie there are no lawyers .They assured me that I would only have to pay the first payment and that I probably wouldn’t even have to make the second payment and that it should only take a month or two . I didn’t receive any phone calls on my case . When I did it was to ask when will you make your next payment. I had to call and call and even then you are not given a direct line . You leave a message and when they feel good and ready they will call you back . They spend a lot of time in “meetings” . You are left feeling helpless and to make matters worse you are reliant on a fraudulent company. After making several attempts to reach anyone assigned to my case . I was given instructions to email paper work that I had already emailed several times . Not to mention I was told that they never received the paper work. When confronted with the proof of emails being sent they would suddenly appear in someone else’s mail box that worked for the company. Then they had the nerve to tell me I was rude . I may have been a little rude after the third attempt and call after call only to finally speak to a person on the other end that clearly shows no concern for my situation. That’s what I hired you for . I get a little touchy when I’m paying already in the 1000s for basically nothing in return. I only was able to get the basics done when I called management and threatened with a lawsuit. I literally had to call the supervisor every day in order for them to do anything. It’s definitely a scam . The longer they take the more you pay and they will take as long as they possibly can . It’s like they dangle a carrot on a stick and you never get the carrot. I have written several reviews and looked to see if they posted them . What do you know !? Of course they didn’t . O do have to say o finally did get the latter resolved and after throwing out money I realized I did t need them at all you can do most of it on your own . It just takes a little effort . Lesson learned.

Two and a half years ago, I was blind-sided by a letter from my state taxing authority informing me that I owed several thousand dollars. I tried, for nearly two years to handle the problem on my own; the debt more than doubled with penalties and interest during that time. They placed a lien on my bank account and a very aggressive collection agency was calling me at all hours. I knew I needed help; but, none of the tax attorneys I contacted would handle cases involving the state or less than ten thousand dollars. Then, I found Wall and Associates.
From the day they took my case, the collection calls stopped. The lien was soon lifted from my bank account and they handled all negotiations with the state and federal taxing authorities. They weren’t cheap; but, they were reasonable and worth every penny. The case was settled for far less than I ever thought possible. If you’ve got tax problems, get Wall and Associates on your side. I only wish I’d done it sooner.

Because of a mix up with Obamacare, I got an 11K tax bill. They were confident they could reduce it to only 10% of that. I had to pay $2500, plus $350 a month. THEN, after 3 months, they said because of my assets, that I should pay the full amount to the IRS. WHY did they not KNOW THIS BEFORE they took my $2500, +??? CROOKS, stay FAR AWAY!

After receiving numerous unprofessional letters and ads from other companies throughout the years regarding problems that I've had with the IRS, I received a very professional letter that stood apart from the others. I waited a long time before reaching out to them because I was afraid of what I would be getting into. After much deliberation I decided to contact them. I have been so impressed with the people and the company and this has been the best move I've every made. After hiring three tax attorneys previously (which did absolutely nothing) Wall and Associates has helped me in ways that no one else has. Truly, I can't say enough nice things about them based on my experience

I hired Wall & Associates in 2010 to help me deal with a tax lien. I was desperate and had no luck trying to deal with the IRS myself. I paid Wall & Associates $400 a month for 6 years - that's $24,000, then $300 a month for another year ($3,600). The reason the monthly fee was reduced was because they screwed up and missed a deadline, causing the last offer in compromise to be tossed out by the IRS and it had to be refiled so I requested a decrease in their fees. They act like they're doing something for you but months (and years) can go by and they're doing nothing, not even talking to the IRS. When they submitted the offers to the IRS (apparently they only made 3 attempts in 7 years) the information sent to the IRS was sparse, inaccurate and ultimately rejected by the IRS. They gave me advice on how to have the next offer accepted. I did all of those things (and more) and still they could not get a compromise approved by the IRS. This spring I reached a level of frustration because they couldn't get any action from the IRS and I needed a decision because I could FINALLY refinance a house and pay the tax lien. The offer had been submitted in December 2016 and the IRS was still kicking it around in June 2017. They have zero influence there. So after 7 years I'm out about $27,000. My tax bill was only $29,000 so by this time I could have paid the IRS off at $400 a month. Here's the real kicker. After paying $27,000 to Wall, my tax bill (with interest and penalties) is now up to $45,000. Those delays from both Wall and the IRS added up. So, I'm out $72,000 over what was a $29,000 tax bill. When I terminated my relationship with them I asked how they would compensate me for this total waste of money - no response. Customer Service never called back. I contacted the Better Business Bureau, they were unable to help.
If Wall & Associates didn't think they could help me, they shouldn't have accepted me as a client. I called my Senator's office for help with the IRS and they flat out told me I should have called them for help earlier and these types of companies just rip you off. They sure did. I would not recommend their services to anyone. You need help with the IRS? Call your Senator's office. They'll help for free.
9/25/17 UPDATE: my bill right now from the IRS is $45K so there is NO WAY it was $44K in 2010 or even 2011. Serious misinformation from Wall & Associates - maybe that's why they couldn't reach a settlement with the IRS for me.

Wall & Associates Virginia Beach VA,,, I want to thank them, their whole team Mandy, Bryant, & Sarah. For helping me out of a difficult position. I owed the IRS every bit of 6 figures. The team was confident & knowledgeable that they could negotiate a very good deal. During the whole process I was always apprehensive, a year later it all came true, they were able to negotiate a deal that in the end it was a low 5 digit settlement. It took approx a year but mine was a difficult case, and during that time they were constantly in contact, by phone, email, & regular mail. Making me feel confident at all times. Will never be in that position again, just want to thank them cause I can sleep better at night. JB

NOT trustworthy at al!! AARON DAMASK is nothing but a snake, that will try to take advantage of you. I had my consultation and spoke with him for about an hour and a half. I had never worked with an attorney before so it seemed like it went well to me. He spoke like a salesman and rarely looked me in the eye throughout the entire meeting. My FEE was suppose to be 10k upfront and 500/month... that makes NO SENSE. He then mentioned I go into my local bank and ask them to set me up with a CPA to file my taxes... Which also makes NO sense at all (what does my bank have to do with it?) He gave me a call a few days later and left a voicemail, kind of trying to scare me into signing the paperwork (The IRS can find you any moment, you have to call me now) Very Threatening. I would never recommend this place. I found instead Silver Tax Group and they're much more helpful. Please don't be fooled.
