Love this company!! They seem to be the only one out there that can properly package items. I do most of my shopping online, several different companies on the same day....vitacost is always the first one to arrive!! Other companies (like target) don't seem to care if dishsoap leaks all over every thing else, vitacost takes care when packaging your items.

Vitacost Is running a fraud!
they had my package rerouted back to them and then refused to refund me, I spoke with multiple agents: "Julie, Linda and Danielle." They refused to get me a supervisor and "Julia and Linda" disconnected the chat when I asked for a supervisor instead they gave me the run around, how request for "refund has been submitted." And, "Linda" stated "warehouse will refund me." and, they spew so much bs over a course of week and NEVER RECeived a refund for the package that was NEVER DELIVERED, rude and incompetent customer service and "Danielle"had the nerve to tell me to be "professional" yet won't issue a refund, this company clearly has rude and incompetent employees and on top of that, they are stealing from customers, and I had to dispute the charge at last resort, do not shop with fraudulent company

They've got a good range of products a fairly good prices but really horrible customer service. They make coupons available to you and they even email you coupons. But when you try to use them they say oops that just expired or your order doesn't qualify. I think I'm going to look for a better company that I can buy these products from. Vitacost is just getting worse and worse.

I spent $573 at Vitacost. The product never arrived. For some strange reason the FedEx in Italy never delivered it but decided to return it to Vitacost. Upon learning this, I contacted customer service to alert them and was told that I would be refunded. Several weeks later, I still haven't received my refund and I check if the orders had been returned to Vitacost. I have tracking proof they were received on August 12 at Vitacost. At that point it was August 29 and I hadn't received a refund. I contacted customer service, again I was told I would receive a refund. Later that day I received an email stating that they wouldn't refund me at all because of some small print using Fedex?! So essentially they kept ALL THE PRODUCT AND ALL MY $573!!! I tried to reason with them that I've been a good and faithful customer that has spent thousands at their company, that the Italian Fedex probably returned it because they didnt want their 'ferie' (vacation in August) interrupted. I'm beyond frustrated. I'm a missionary that saves to buy health items for some health issues I have. I've contacted BBB and my bank. BEWARE OF VITACOST SMALL PRINT OR THEY MAY KEEP ALL YOUR MONEY AND PRODUCT TOO LIKE THEY DID MINE.

I've bought from Vitacost for nearly a decade and they're the best company I have ever dealt with. They always ship promptly, make very few mistakes (2 out of several thousand dollars worth of product, and these were promptly rectified), pack everything like it was going to the Moon, don't use skeevy third party sellers, and don't play any games to trick you into paying for "free" shipping (like Scamazon does).
I have no business relationship with Vitacost except as an anonymous customer (I never even had to create an account!) and this review has in no way been solicited or rewarded.

Shopping at vitacost is great because the selection of goods is amazingly vast. The on problem is the shipping costs get pretty hefty being over seas and sometimes you can only but things in multiples.

I really love shopping at Vitacost I have been shopping with them for over 10 years started out in Denver Colorado then South Carolina and now I'm in Florida. They get the packages out quickly if something breaks or gets damaged there very fast on replacing the product. They have excellent variety of products to choose from and outstanding customer service and I really enjoy shopping with Vitacost I trust this company

This company is simply awesome. Not only do they carry quality products but their delivery service is excellent. I ordered a bottle of juice on Monday morning and to my surprise received it Tuesday morning. I highly recommend this company.

Awesome company! I love the coupon codes and the sweet deals I get ever month! I save soo much money every month buying from them. When they have the 20% entire order of purchase of $50 of food or more and free shipping. I highly recommend! I have recommend them to others! I love also about the refund and replacements you can get. I have gotten some items damaged in the past and I would request a replacement and they would send me out another replacement at no cost to me. Also when it comes to refunds they are quick to refund. They actually have given me a choice if I want a refund or replacement. There have times I got a refund without having to return the product.

I ordered 2 bottles of pb8 probiotic. I received them FedEx in a kinda of plastic bag I think they should of be shipped in a cardboard box. I'm surprised they weren't damaged. An idea to put in a box would be better.

I've ordered from Vitacost every once in a while across the span of the past 2 years and often there were items that arrived damaged. As the company advertises a flexible return policy I contacted their customer support each time there were damaged products. Their support staff treated me like a swindler.
It's fascinating they didn't improve the manner in which they package items at the warehouse, because damaged product deliveries continued after I raised my concerns.
They also maintained their flexible return policy in this time...and yet I was treated like a second-rate shopper when I wanted them to keep their promise on their company policy.
Aim to deliver intact items or stop antagonizing customers who expect you will follow through.

I have shopped with Vitacost for years. I don't buy their company brand because I like to stick with companies I have a history with but I buy those brand's from vitacost. I have never had trouble getting an error fixed. Shipping is always fast. I order on average once or twice a month and have never had any of the problems other reviewers list.

I was pleased to order with them based on what they offer; however their customer service is less than inadequate. The representative spent more time telling me how it was my credit card companies fault and what to do, than taking an interest that their system glitched in the processing, my order was in limbo, an apology for the inconvenience ... something! When I asked her to listen verses place blame elsewhere, she muted her phone. When returning to the phone, again, attitude and not in a positive way. When she mentioned talking with her supervisor, I asked to speak with them. I was put on hold for some time and then transferred to another supervisor who basically regurgitated what was already said. No resolve. I opted to cancel anything pending. Called my credit card company AGAIN, at which point they confirmed the pending charge, stated the other company needs to release (not sure who's telling the truth!) however noted that I had cancelled the order and did not authorize any further transaction with this company. All I was looking for was basic customer service. We apologize for the inconvenience. Let's get this taken care of and get your order out to you. Here's the two options on how to make that happen. Yes, you were due a $10 credit on your order. We'll take care of it. Thank you for calling us. Thank you for being a customer. etc. Not difficult, but obviously not part of their training, focus or script. Unfortunate!

Appalling experience with customer experience. Placed an order for international shipping but shipper claimed they couldn’t deliver the parcel which was returned to sender. After numerous emails to customer service, still no refund has been provided, even though they acknowledge the shipment was returned to sender.

EVERY TIME I ORDER, I GET OTHER ITEMS, USUALLY FEWER THAN IN THE ORDER, AND THEY SAY THEY GIVE YOU 15% OFF WHICH IS A LIE, AS THEY CALCULATED IN A WAY THAT NOBODY CAN FIGURE OUT, AND THE SUMS DON'T ADD UP, AND WHEN I ALL THEY SAY THERE IS A GLITCH IN THE SYSTEM.

Their discounts are disingenuous and designed to rip you off. I called customer service and spoke to someone who promised me she would make the code apply to my entire order (high dollar order) after I made the purchase, and she never did. Maybe this site was better before it was bought by Kroger Groceries.

Very attractive website, good product offerings BUT customer service non-existant.
I complained when my order was sent by International Surface Mail instead Air Mail as before; the downgrade unsuitable for $150 worth of supplements to the other side of the world.
Received several canned responses about shipping times to every country in the world generally. They refused to look at the issue: sending supplements via Surface Mail to my country which takes a week by Air. Weeks later, they are now in Germany of all places, I wonder where next. Of course they will be unusable if and when they finally arrive. Totally disinterested customer ‘service’.

Vitacost has the better customer service, one time, they ship the wrong order, and they replace the order right away. The other time I got side effects from the order I purchase, I got refund of it.
