For now i search some property for sale in Barcelona https://tranio.com/spain/catalonia/barcelona for its climate and culture.
Videos are made good for getting info on something interesting

Vimeo is forcing pretty much everyone to upgrade to PRO or Business account. Even if you inform them that you are a PRIVATE PERSON. They obviously need to sqeeze 80 USD out of as many people they can, and they do not care at all about their reputation. If you contact their support you will only receive a bunch of automatic answers about their policies... We can only hope as many people as possible change videohosing platform to YouTube or some other one. Only way to make them change their policy. Once a great company...not a bunch of scammers that want to make a quick buck.

I have complained time and time again about the pro version and why they make you pay £200 a year instead of allowing customers the freedom of choice. Ended up leaving in the end. This is 2019 and there are so many alternatives out there and Vimeo just don't listen to their customers.

I can't even give them one star..I got scammed for a whole year. They took $240.00out of my account. I paid for a site a PRO site that allows private links..Its not private...they use it as a excuse to say you violated community guidelines. It's never went to the community...its the whole purpose of a private link. They also broke copyrights of my videos. They charged my bank account for a whole year..without my permission..it was suppose to be monthly. I tried to ask for a refund and to complain..the email was no longer found...They rip people off. ITS ALL A BIG SCAM

I've been with Vimeo for 10 years now and it has not progressed as far as speed goes. It's the slowest playback of any video service around in 2019. I will be leaving after my membership is up! Brutal speeds with tracking down old videos and watching new ones. It's always stalling and buffering.

While Vimeo is good for small video uploads, (larger ones cost an expensive plan). I tried doing the expensive plan for a month to upload all my videos, but their plans aren't user friendly and I ended up getting tricked into getting a "monthly" plan that wasn't actually by month, but charged over $80 for the year. Couldn't get a refund, and now I have a really expensive vimeo plan I don't need for the rest of the year. The worse part is, Youtube does this for free, but isn't considered for video portfolios apparently.
Vimeo customer service does not want to be bothered. They have no phone and they won't work with you, so it's not a honorable or ethical platform. Just use Youtube - they have never stolen my money.

There is nothing good about Vimeo. It's videos are slow, they don't embed well. Their customer service is slow and unhelpful. Commercial solutions for paywall based videos are a great idea.... vimeo is not your solution. No matter what reason you might have for considering vimeo -- there is another company doing the same thing better for less money.
They play games with pricing. They try to bully you into upgrading by deactivating features. Their dashboard is slow.

Seriously, these guys when they appeared, they were awesome and their service immaculate. I was a Plus member for years, until the more expensive paid plans popped and the Plus memberships were amputated.
The bandwidth became massacred, down top 75kb/sec ONLY on Vimeo and from multiple service providers. Unless you're ready to dish out the big Pro subscription money, stay light years away. Until they decide to do yet another, paid upgrade (they make a habit of it all the time).

The absolute WORSE video hosting site I have ever experienced with.
They made some bs emailing saying I have to upgrade my account or it’ll be deleted. So much for “free”
Then they deleted my account for adult content?! Never have any sort of “adult content”. I lost ALL of my videos and work. Absolutely do not use this site.

I really should have googled complaints about this company before signing up, first off not only do they make it impossible to cancel, but they have no customer service reps to speak to, in resolving issues and they tried to sneak in an auto renewal that I did not request. I signed up today 10/10 and tried to cancel. Impossible just email them and "they" will get back to you. I'm not doing business with any company that operates like this. I called my bank and disputed the charges, I don't even trust this company with a 30 cancel.

I canceled my vimeo business before the free trial ended and they still charged my account. I am so upset. Vimeo is scamming people , do not believe their lies of a free trial and never give your credit card to them. I'm disputing this charge to the fullest extent and will pursue legal action if necessary.

I like the company Vimeo, but it's a very annoying "service":
The Vimeo Professional Services is useful for *publishers* - we guess more useful than many other video Platforms.
BUT there are *many* *very* annoying issues for the visitors - our customers! - which always prefer YouTube if they can select, because:
1) If we have 100 Videos, our visitors can not just browse them to select one. The Visitors have to click many, many times to 'browse' them page by page. *very annoying*
2) A Visitor can not just add our video to a private topic channel, because Vimeo just allows creating one single topic channel. Need more? Vimeo offers it for money. *very annoying*
3) Vimeo usability is a nightmare, example #1: Of course, Vimeo allows a user to create more than one topic channel. But afterwards, it will be just silently deleted. *very annoying*
4) Vimeo usability is a nightmare, example #2: Our users can add our Videos to the 'watch later' list. But of course, Vimeo doesn't update the 'watch later' list itself once the user (our customer!) has watched a video. *very annoying*
5) No automatic subtitles. For foreign-language customers, it's really great to have automatic subtitles - and we get much more visitors. In Vimeo, each customer must find a solution for himself to create and manually upload subtitles. *very annoying*
6) Just a very, very basic 'share video' function. It's not possible to share a video-sequence and automatically add the Starting-Timestamp to the URL. *very annoying*
In summary, it has to be said that Vimeo doesn't bother at all to offer the visitor (our customers!) a great experience (or at least a modern experience) in dealing with our videos.
Vimeo claims to develop the product "in love",
but in fact, Vimeo is a very, very unloving product.
One advantage: the support responds very quickly.
But even minimal suggestions for improvement are … simply ignored.

They allow you to publish videos for free but after a few months they ask you to upgrade to the Pro plan because "the videos contain product reviews". Now they will cancel my account in 14 days so the work done on Vimeo will be wasted. I have a suggestion for Vimeo: check before offering a free account to someone, so he can decide to use another platform before taking time to work on Vimeo and see his account canceled.

Scammers who are just after your money! I paid for the Plus [ackage and year ago and made and uploaded lots of videos that I was able to use in online courses that I sell. Never once have they queried it or asked me to upgrade. Then the other day I wished to downgrade back to the free package as I am making less videos, The first man who responded was brilliant and told me exactly how much storage I have and how I would therefore not lose any content if I downgraded. He then put me in touch with someone to help me with the downgrading process. This person then told me that I actually I need upgrade to the next version up as business videos were not allowed on the Plus plan and would be deleted!! Yet I've been making them fine for a whole year????

I have subscribed mid of July because I was thinking to make a video for my job search. However I NEVER used the programme (no time, too compicated) - I was just charged over 70 USD after a free month try WIHTOUT ANY INFORMATION - emails , ect... In the confirmation Email after the subscription to the one months trial, it is written "after one month , your subscription will be confimed and AFTER THAT you will be charge" - this is SUCH a lie ... I was charged ONE THE DOT one month later AND the subscription was not confirmed. .. As I read the review, I was not the only one ripped off......

Unable to close account completely - Have emailed them asking them to remove all data they hold and delete account but despite emails from Vimeo claiming it had been done - still recieving spam emails from them - I turn off the marketing settings - they just turn them back on again ! -maybe EU GDPR regulators should hit Vimeo for th4% of annual turnover fine and maybe then they would sit up and take note ! Crap Business

I started off enjoying the site, till the day I clicked on a video clip, and they began to execute a teen kid. I was left traumatised for six months afterwards (I did NOT even watch the full clip). Then recently saw their "WE support LGBT" self promotion, while seeing an islamic video clip entitled "Throwing the gay from the roof", that was there for already over a week. Then the NZ mosque murders video appeared multiple times, and they did nothing to remove them after much protest. They are a sick company putting profit above all else, and do nothing to prevent sickening content being able to be viewed by minors etc.. I hope they eventually get sued for their disgusting practices.

This company made me set up an account, and then tried to get me to pay big bucks for it, when all I wanted to do was post a Review. I took the time to set up the free account, then took the time to write a very detailed Review, but then when I tried to post the Review, I got a message saying Vimeo cancelled my account via an automated bot due to it failing certain filters. I then disputed it on an online form, and a couple hours later they then emailed me saying they made a mistake, and my account had been re-instated. After reading some of the other Reviews I'm not sure if I will keep my account at this point.
