Contacted who I thought to be Microsoft because a pop up blocked my computer, was told by the Asian man that I had a Trojan horse that he could not remove so he transferred me to the Viande company to remove and restore my computer. After 3 hours on the phone and an agreement to send $400 on Friday. BTW, the man attempted to have Fed ex-pick up a check in an hour to which I stated I was not available he then agreed to settle for us mail on Friday...... Literally the first sure I visited after the alleged repair my computer froze and will not allow me any access. I have since signed up for life lock protection. These people are horrible and extremely alarming.

I was working on my computer when a popup appeared with a ladies voice screaming at me "Your computer has a virus, do not restart or shut down your computer as this could cause you to lose all information including personal info. Please call tech support at the number above. Being that i was not an expert on computer jargan, i was able to be coerced into thinking my only option was to believe they could help unlock my computer. The first guy i sooke to named Jordan stated i had something called Zeus virus that would attack all my personal info. He said they would clear up the virus from foreign attackers & put in place a firewall because they had remote access to my computer. It would take 60-90 minutes to complete the process. I spent the next hour on the phone with them as i watched them take control of my computer. They even pulled up a list of about 10 groups of numbers & letters i had never seen before. After 15-20(not 60-90) minutes Kathleen called back to say my computer was fixed. I was then transfered to Mike-Network guy who claimed he had cleaned everything up and put in place a firewall. Next i was transferres to supv named Alan who proceeded to tell me i would be charged $199.99 . They told me to write a check which would be picked up by Fed Ex the next day. He even remotely controlled my printer to produce a shipping label for me to use. Later that day i researched the company and found all these other victims of this company's scam. Upon learning the details, i decided to withhold payment and instead file this complaint.

I was called from Viande and said that my computer has been seriously identity thief by Zeus Worm. They said that they can help me fix this with cost of $200. Last time i already paid them $100 for life time guarantee service for my computer but now they asked me for another $200 dollars just after few months of using the service. This is totally unacceptable.
Below is what they left the note in my computer
Zeus worm is a Russian network hacking worm that attacks Microsoft Windows,Apple
computer, and any smart device. This worm originally targeted users of networking
websites like Facebook, Recipe sites , Skype, Yahoo Messenger, and email websites
such as G Mail, Yahoo Mail, Hotmail,Outlook, You tube, Gaming Websites, Porn
Websites and AOL Mail. It can disable any antivirus and antimalware Program in the
computer. It can infect other devices on the same local network. This infection
allows an attacker to access users' personal information such as banking
information, passwords, social security number or personal identity (Gateway
Address). It is considered a security risk and should be removed from the network.
This is a very serious issue and any local computer shop
or any office I.T. guy Like ( bestbuy, Stapels,Geeksquad or Microsoft ) cannot fix
something like this. One must contact a Certified Networking Programmer as soon as
possible and it might cost $500-$600 to fix. The main risk with Zeus worm is IDENTITY
THEFT specially when the minimum punishment of cyber crime has been extended to 2
years. In 2017 on 12th May ,989 people were arrested because their Gateway address were
stolen and misused for bank frauds, criminal activities and cyber crime.
Example : in case if your Gateway Address will be misuse for any illigal activity the you have to pay $20000 as a penalty .

Message on computer screen that computer was at risk of being blocked, stated not to turn off computer or to work on computer any longer until the number on screen was called. Person who answered phone, a Mark, said computer had been hacked from a foreign country and listed lines of numbers and symbols, saying that it had been hacked numerous times, but that they would take care of it and then transferred me to a tech person who then transferred me to a Kathleen who said it would take 45 minutes to clean up the problems and put a firewall in place. After watching them on my computer screen with supposedly cleaning up, they transferred me to Denise Callendar who told me the price and even printed a FedEx shipping label to mail a check for $480. I did as instructed and then looked up the company and learned of the scam, so decided to withhold payment after reading of numerous accounts by those who had been scammed!!

Pop up on my entire computer screen, saying my computer had been compromised. Screen was frozen. Message said not to shut off computer as it was possible I would lose all data. A phone number was given, 1-800-735-8043, and I would receive FREE help. Andy said he was unable to solve my problem, transferred me to technician Dave. I spent almost an hour on the phone with these people. Then they told me if they fixed my problem I had to tell them, on a recorded line, that I would send them a cashiers check or money order in the amount of $100.00. I was transferred to Victor in their "Billing Department". Not until then did I get the name of this phony company, Viande LLC, 13900 County Rd 455, Ste 107, Clermont, FL Zip Code 34711. Both Dave and Victor were very high pressure.
It was Victor, in Billing, who told me to shut my computer off, wait a few seconds, turn it back on. I did not actually have a problem, but they had somehow frozen my computer. I looked up this company, saw other complaints of the scam and called Victor back at 727-254-4522. I told him of the scam complaints, which he denied, and let him know I would not be sending him any payment. I am sorry I let these people hook me. I feel badly for people who have lost money to them.

I was getting onto Facebook on a PC laptop. A banner popped up saying that there was a virus and asked me to call an 800#. I did and was convinced that there was hacking into all of our devices. After a very lengthy call, they were going to charge $269.99 to clean and repair the issues. Somehow, I was able to talk them down to $199.99. The initial person I spoke with was unable to help and I was sent to a level 7 cert. tech. They were able to resolve the issue fairly quickly even though I was told it would take 60-90 minutes. The fishy part was that they were sending FedEx to collect the check this evening. I think it is awful that they were trying to protect us from the bad guys when THEY are the bad guys!!!

The message came up on my computer that it was in danger of losing all content and insisted I call 800-735-8043. I did and spent the next 2 hours while they "restored" my data and got rid of the "foreign hackers of which they showed me there were 10. They wanted $379.99 for a year of total protection and when I refused to pay by credit card they said they'd send Fedex and even printed a Fedex label for me to use.
I will not give FedEx a check so now I'm in fear of the info they stole from me by letting them into my computer.

While browsing a site on the internet, a page came up that stated that if I left/closed this page, my hard drive would be deleted in 5 minutes and to call the number on the screen that was supposedly Microsoft support. After calling them, they stated that they needed access to my computer and they stated I had a virus called 'Zeus' which allows a hacker access to all my information. They stated they needed to work on my computer for 40 minutes or so and they would call back. They stated they had cleared my computer of the Zeus threat and that I needed to send them a check for $279.99 via FedEx to Attention: Denise Viande LLC 13900 County Road #455 Suite 107 Clermont, FL 34711. FedEx has not arrived at my residence yet, but I'm not going to give them any money.
