Worst experience ever!
Ordered some Chanel trousers on the 27th July 2019 and the parcel arrived at the Headquarters on the 15th August after several mails were sent to the seller. However the item did not arrive in a good condition had stains etc, but the customer service offered me a refund of 60€. I was like its okay, I'll still take it. BIGGEST MISTAKE! The seller has to agree on that discount first, (which is fair), but not if the seller doesn't agree on it for like a week. Now I need to wait till the 29th August, if the seller doesn't agree on it I'll receive my item, if not I'll get my money. But the process takes sooo long, like why not give the seller a time period of 3 days. That's more than enough.

I’m happy with my purchase. Initially I ordered two Fur coats. For the first Coat I was contacted via email from the Control Team because the Coat didn’t match exactly the description of the Seller. I was offered a discount but I refused to buy the Coat and because I was satisfied and pleased that Vestiaire Team were honest about the first Coat, I decided to buy a much more expensive Fur Coat. This Coat didn’t arrive but it did arrive another one of my first Teo Coat ordered and it looks exactly how was described on the site.
I must admit I was afraid after I read so many bad reviews but the control Team gained my Trust and if the Fur Coat that must arrive will be in perfect condition as well as the previous one, I will be a regular customer of this Company.

Super annoying that you can not exclude brands in your search and when you are browsing for shoes you see all the Zara and Top Shop shoes with really bad quality recently. I am shopping on Vestaire because I am looking for well-curated items. I don't want worn Zara stuff for almost store prices. That's what eBay and Craigslist are for. please pick your items better and give the better possibility to refine the search for the people who do not know exactly what the want. I want to "window shop" and get inspired but with 115 pages of boots and half of it rubbish I will never ever go buy something.

1. I tried to purchase several times on this site.
Most items were cancelled after weeks and never arrived.
One order was cancelled by the vestiaire Team because they purchased the item by themself to sell it for a higher price.
2. A second order which was described as" new and never used" went through the "quality control". It was dirty and with black stains all over. I complained and had to return the bag. After 2 weeks I got the same bag back which was tried to be cleaned by vestiaire and be told that vestiaire is second hand shop. They had no excuse nor an acknowledgment that the bag went through the control and was "not as described". In my opinion I have to get a bag described as new in good condition and not with dirt and signs of use all over.
So the result : I had purchased a heavily used bag for double of the retail price in store because it was limited edition. They suggest me to sell it again and that they won't let me return it. Really vestiaire? It is my fault, that the seller is not reliable and a liar?
Ridiculous, I bet they would refuse my listing as "not described" and I would never get the money I paid for and they would have made money twice with the selling fees. This seller has even more items all described with "very good condition and new" but all items were used if you have a closer look on the photos. So don't trust the promised vestiaire service of control because it doesn't exist.
3. There're so many fakes on their site, so you can easily go back shopping on ebay as the "vestiaire control team" don't know anything about vintage and real designer bags, especially Hermès, Chanel and LV.
So if you are looking for counterfeit bags Vestiaire Collective is the best place to shop:

I bought a LV very hobo bag from a private seller. In short, I try to cancel the order shortly after, as I can see the seller's sales history. The seller has sold over 40 designer bags - all without documentation.
Vestiaire rejects this and when I then receive the bag, it is obviously fake. The bag measures original 40x30, but the bag I get sent measures 25x30 and it is not provided with a date code (serial number).
I send pictures of this, and vestiaire agrees to an extra check where they again approve it and assess that it meets the seller's description.
In addition to the fact that the bag is obviously fake, the bag does not live up to the seller's description, since the seller has noted LV's original meassure, and not the meassures that the bag sent has.
Do all of you a favor and stay away from this miserable company with their so-called "experts".

Leggings (synthetic, not cashmere) arrived with the seams facing out and the Sonia Rykiel label on the smooth side, which a reasonable person would assume is the side that's supposed to be visible. Outward-facing seams were not mentioned in the description and it is very difficult to imagine how this was not noticed and remarked. Are these really from this designer or has a label just been sewn on a fake on the wrong side?
Three grievous Quality Control problems: wrong fabric, possibly not authentic leggings shipped in an unwearable condition.
I've had a number of good experiences with Vestiaire with the occasional bad Quality - but recently the number of bad is much higher and the only response is 'so sorry, they're only human'.
So sorry: three grievous problems - when one would have been adequate to refuse the item - not good enough.

The "lost" item can perhaps be found at the Vestiaire Boutique in Paris? Too many items lost or simply not delivered by the seller to make this just a sloppy organization.

I've had mixed, but mostly bad experiences with Vestiaire. I've sold one item without issues. An item I bought somehow disappeared right after it had been recevied at their offices. My payment was eventually refunded, but it took a while.
Now I'm in a very uncertain situation as a seller: an item I sold was deemed non-compliant and I received an e-mail requesting that I send a cheque (!) by mail (!) to cover the return postage fee. If I don't send a cheque, which is not possible for me, my item will be destroyed after 6 months. I don't understand why it was deemed non-compliant and I can't access the quality workshop report which they're referring to; I'm only directed back to the main page when I click on the link. Both my item and the report seem to have been removed. I've written several e-mails to Vestiaire but I haven't received any response.
Update: I still haven't received any response. I did include the reference number in the e-mails I sent.
Almost two weeks later: They still haven't responded. What's the point of asking users to write to customer support if you just ignore the messages?
The sitation was eventually resolved and I received my authentic item back. If Vestiaire had just answered my messages and provided the necessary information, I wouldn't have had to waste so much time.
Since then I've had another strange experience, which perhaps isn't that strange considering all the fakes that obviously pass the initial validation on the site. Where are the experts? An authentic item I tried to list was refused on the first try, despite that I had provided clear photos of all details. There could be no doubt that it was authentic. A few days later, I tried again - the item was accepted without problems. Perhaps there was actually an expert around that day...

I HAVE SOLD ITEMS ON VESTIARE COLLECTIVE IN THE PAST, WITHOUT ANY DIFFICULTY.
HOWEVER, AFTER AN ABSENCE OF SEVERAL MONTHS, (DUE TO BEREAVEMENT) I AM NOT BEING ALLOWED ACCESS TO THE SITE.

I wish I could leave less than 1 star. I ordered an amazing shearling vest from Vestiaire (Ref.4466476). It was accepted by quality control and was supposed to be shipped out October 10. But the post office never received the package. I had to call and email several times before I was told Vestiaire Collective LOST my vest yesterday (November 11, one month later)...HOW!? I think it may have to do with the fact that the vest was sold for a low price and they can get a higher price for it...that is a scam! it is UNACCEPTABLE for a company to LOSE a product that is not theirs to begin with!!!
Furthermore, I was of course told (after more than 1 month of waiting) about the "loss" of my shearling vest on a Saturday when all the customer service lines are closed.
I will be calling back tomorrow when the lines are open, and if they do not find my vest, I will file a class action law suit against them because they are doing some VERY shady stuff. I wonder how many things they "lose"...according to this website, there are quite a lot.

I have been a seller on this website for 3 months now and I can tell you that they cannot recognize a fake from a genuine.
You can find on VC items with higher prices that on the brand website and when you comment something that they do not like VC deletes your comment.
I wound never buy on this website as they have no clue of what they are selling. VC protect the sellers that mislead buyers using untrue information in product description.
AVOID this website as you will never know if you buy a genuine item.

I sold my Celine Dot bracelet in goldtone brass and shipped it with myhermes. After approx. 2 weeks it arrived with VC. They contacted me to say it was non-compliant. I couldn't believe it as it was A/W 16 and only worn once. They said it was broken. This item was shipped in perfect condition. I immediately rang Paris and said to them that it had been shipped in perfect condition. My bracelet has either been broken by myhermes or VC staff. I want to be paid for my item. The person who took my phonecall on thurs 19 jan said he would get back to me the next day. I then received automated email saying my bracelet was being shipped back to me as it was non-compliant. This is appalling customer service and I want a refund. I have been a buyer and seller since 2012 with VC and they do provide poor customer service by email. Please respond to my issue. You or myhermes broke my celine bracelet.
Its thurs 26th jan I still have not had a response. This is very poor customer care and sadly it is not the only example I have experienced.
Vestiaire collective have agreed to refund me for the bracelet I have received payment.
