I ordered a gaming laptop and received confirmation on this order, the order was meant to be delivered on the Saturday and stated it needs to be signed for, I took a day of work for this reason, as the day turned into evening I contact the live chat and was informed Twice that It will be delivered by 9pm, the laptop never showed up,
I rung very on the Monday and took forever to get in touch with someone, the guy on the phone told me they have now cancelled the prefer as there now out of stock, the guy told me on the day I ordered it they had low stock, my point was they were in stock never the less at the point I ordered it!!!!!
They have credited my account £20 but does not help with the fact I took a day off work and still have no laptop and would not want to use the company again, I believe they should be embarrassed for a company that boasts quality with terrible customer service!!!!!

Shocking customer service! Set up account today and purchased a set of head phones! Once I did that I called them up straight away to change delivery address to my work address and the customer advisor said I am unable to do this, and I have to cancel my order and re do it! When querying why can’t you amend this the first advisor put the phone done when asking to speak with a manager!
The 2nd time I called up I was held on the phone 1 hour and 10mins! With their line manager! As a good will they topped my credit line but £20! When I don’t want to use their credit! And I want to buy the product with my card!
Very poor customer service! Have cancelled my order and will buy else where!

Absolute den of thieves, OMG no words to describe their awful service and convoluted ways to rip you off. They are in breach of contract, charged me over £300 for a pram, never delivered, never attempted, won't let me raise a return online and best of all they hang up on me when I call customer services. TWO WEEKS have passed without a single response to messages or emails, and again NO REFUND.
I have no idea HOW THEY ARE STILL EXISTS IN THE MARKET with such behaviors

Absolute shithouse of a company. Tired to arrange a set date for my payment as I get paid monthly, I pay well over the minimum payment of £34 something, (I pay £250-300 per month) yet still get told there will be a late payment charge? Sorry but I work a hell of a lot and smash in the overtime just to be able to afford to pay this amount so I don’t get charged over 50% interest fees... this company is a joke. C u n t s. Do not set up an account with these pirates. The interest is how they get you.

The worst company ever. I ordered only 2 itesm sofa bed and a samsung tv on 1st Sep 2019 and they charged me for the delivery and decided to deliver by 9th Sep 2019. I was waiting whole day without going to the work. they didnot turn up and around 6pm they sent a message that they would deliver on the next day 6 hours prior which is 1pm. The 2nd day I was waiting again, first they didnot turn up until 4pm and then the driver said that he drove to my place but forgot to load my ordered items in the van. I was really laughing at him. Then when I contacted Very they said to me if you want either you call and sort out with them or place the order again and pay again if i want the item. You decide what sort of company is this? It is almost £900 worth of items.

Up to now my dealings with Very have been okay, just ordered a fridge/freezer been given delivery date? 31st July or before, how can i plan time off work with that? chatted to online assistant, that was a waste of time, basically told tough, you were given a date at time of order and you will be given 24 hours notice of delivery time, i had to say i will make arrangements for 31st and if any other day you can keep it, assistant did not give a toss just said okay thanks i understand, what a waste of time.

What on earth are the so called customer service agents about. Aggressive and insulting no interest in genuine complaints you are met with threats. This company needs to appear on Watchdog who runs it & obviously couldn't care less about customers? They tried to fool me into making a purchase on the false pretext of a discount. I have all the evidence on email plus transcript I am seriously considering taking the matter further as I don't appreciate being called suspicious when I say to them they have intentionally misled me. Do they hire the customer service agents on the basis of how deceptive and nasty they can be?

Customer service with Very.com has been amazing. I ordered 6 dining chairs on Monday and cash was taken out my account. Yesterday (Wednesday) I received an email stating that the chairs were out of stock. Today I received a full refund into my account. I emailed Very last night to ask if they would be getting them back in stock and received a satisfactory reply today. So although we didn’t get our purchase the customer service has been second to none.

SHOCKING CUSTOMER SERVICE AND COMPLAINTS team in South Africa!
Contacted Very on 01/12/19 - For a simple request for a VAT receipts I was informed by their customer service agent that this would be sent via post and emailed within 5 days.
Why is a VAT receipt not available within my account. Why does it take 5 days to be posted. And then doens't arrive so has to be re-rasied again???
If this was raised on 01/07/19 how hard is it to email????

I purchased an Item on credit that was 'buy now, pay 9 months'. I noted the date in my diary (even went a couple of days before) for when I had to pay off the amount for... I went into my account before that date to pay off my balance, and it said that I was being charged over £100 interest back-dating to when I bought the item, because I didn't pay it off on time.
*** BEWARE *** this is where they catch you out....they tried to get away with it by saying... "well if you read the small print on your credit agreement you would realise that in Very we consider 1 month to be 28 days"... Extremely deceitful, surely this is illegal? It's purposely fooling people into thinking they have longer than they have and make money off the interest. Is this your business model?
I tried explaining to them that I bought the item less than 9 months ago but they wouldn't listen. I then tried to get any sort of human empathy out of them by explaining that I WANT to pay my bill, it's not like I'm refusing to pay. I had my bank card ready. They took the money off me, charged me interest anyway and I'm still paying it off a year later.
The customer service team are shocking too... they lied to me on multiple occasions on chat (which I have records of). When you call them they just pass you on person to person and you go round in circles. When you ask to speak to management they say they don't have a manager and block you from getting anywhere or put you on hold for hours.
I spent hours and hours of my life trying to resolve this issue and when I saw that they were going out of their way to trick me out of money and refuse me customer service after; I realised that it wasn't worth the stress and time it was costing me. It's very clear that they have this deceit down to an art, you can tell the staff are told by management just to say generic agreed statements incase they slip up from their scam.
Please I urge you not to use this company. I've never rated a customer experience less.
Ps. If you are buying anything outside of clothes and need the 'buy now pay later' option, I highly advise that you just to go to Argos, better customer service, not deceitful, and Argos will only charge you interest from the first day after the no-pay period.

Following my recent review on how Very advise Topcashback that they cannot pay out cashback as they cannot trace my order or my account, Very emailed me a link advising I contact them vis it and all would be sorted. I did so and my account and order number were found in seconds and she even told me what I had ordered and when!. The agent, Kizzy, however said she could not fulfil the promise to get cashback authorised so all the time I spent on this today is wasted because I was advised to get Topcashback to chase it but they have done this four or five times already and every time Very deny they can trace my order or account. Well now I have proof they can do so as I have taken screenshots of the conversation. How do you intend to proceed now Very? You can no longer deny I have an account or that an order was placed through Topcashback.com. I have it in writing.

If i could give minus stars i would. My experience has been awful and reduced me to tears. Purchased a tumble dryer on 29 December and was told would get slot booked on the 12 January to be delivered on 15 January. On the 12 January nobody contacted me so i called them and they said wait until the 15th. So on the 15th called back and apparently the item wasn't in stock. I cancelled it and demanded a refund. They said it takes 3 days before it will show in my account. So that was on the 15th. 3 days later on 18 January still no refund and got told another 2-3 days. On 21 January got told nobody had sorted it and said it would be in my bank within 24 hours and she promised me. Checked today 22 January 2019 and still £200 down no refund. I've spoken to 5 different people now and it's still not resolved. Spent over 2 hours worth on the phone begging them for my own money. They've all been really rude to me and cant understand why im goimg mad. Left me on hold for over ten minutes before i hang up and have to call again. My washing is not getting dried on time resulting in my kids having to wear their uniform twice in a row when they get mucky at school they need their uniform washed but its not dry in time and i can't get a tumble dryer anywhere else because very wont give my money back. They are very quick to take it in fact take it from you straight away but when it comes to them giving it back they don't want too. The customer service department is awful, I've asked every time to speak to a manager and none of them would let me. I can't believe the service ive received. I'm now waiting for a call back from Amy from the customer complaints team which im due a call back within the hour. I've told them if my money isn't in my bank in the next hour im reporting them to the police for fraud. If they don't somehow compensate me for all the trouble and rudeness and stress as well upset to my kids i will take it to court. They're the worst of the worst. Do not shop with them. You will somehow suffer if you do.

Purchased a built in gas oven in December 2018. This has never worked properly and after 2 x technicians attending and various emails back and forth to Very, who agreed a replacement, nothing has ever materialised or been resolved. Last week I received an email stating the item has been fitted with the wrong valve and needs emergency attention. I think this is disgraceful after all this time and certainly very much out of pocket in throwing away undercooked/over cooked food and having to purchase alternative means to cook food. Please don't use this company as they lie in writing to you and don't care once they have your money

Appalling service. My first purchase with this company and it never arrived. I waited two months for an oven after extremely poor communication and them not taking responsibility. I ended up going elsewhere. After these two months, they got in contact offering a 20% off voucher that had a four day expiry. Far from impressed.

Alright taking you money until you return something faulty then its a issue lost the boots i returned conveniently !!! waited a hour for my turn on chat to be asked same questions over and over again passed on to track and trace which was 30 mins wait then passed back to customer service to be asked same questions again. Never again will i order from them.

If you ever decide to open a account with Very then I advise you to steer CLEAR from this company and looking at the reviews I can see i'm not the only one who has experienced similar issues.
I brought some headphones and a watch from Very, within a few months the headphones stopped working in a few months. I had a warranty so they advised me to contact Apple to get a replacement due to them being a manufacture default, within 1 month they broke again with the same fault. For this reason I decided to get a refund on the order as its proven it's not a reliable product. I was advised by Very via phonecall that I have to get them replaced with Apple again and then i can chose to either keep them or refund them but she made it clear that is the procedure and rules of their company to take.
After I got the replacement from Apple I went to call Very and I sent them back but was sent back to me because apparently there was a missing item. Of course i was confused as to why this was the case so I called very and they said the serial code didn't match. I was even more confused and explained of course it didn't because they were replaced so the serial code wouldn't match the original one.
well long story short after talking to numerous of their customer service representative (probably more than 30 odd people) some of which were promised I would get a call back regarding the situation but never did even after going through the complaints team no one ever got back to me with a resolution. It was just round and round in circles explaining my situation over and over again. I ended up getting a £50 voucher which is unacceptable because I couldn't return a product due to a caller advising me the wrong thing.
This has been months of aggravation and stress and I cannot stress how bad this company is. I really wish for people to read these reviews first before joining very. I would be sure to post this comment everywhere

Absolutely dismayed with my customer service experience at Very.
I placed an order on their website and upon delivery, the packaging had already been opened. I took photographs and immediately contacted Very to explain that the packaging and security seals had already been opened. The lady who I spoke to just did not listen to what I was saying and kept saying that I would get a refund when they received the returned item. After continuing to explain, she terminated the call having been on the phone for 20 minutes.
I opened the order and - unsurprisingly - part of it was missing. I then contacted Very again and spoke to another customer service representative. Again, it took around 10 attempts of me explaining the situation for her to understand. The phone call lasted over 30 minutes and she had to liaise with a number of different people/departments.
The result, I had to return the whole order, wait for a refund and then re-order. I explained that this was unacceptable and outlined the inconvenience.
I was promised that I would receive a call back from a manager that day (Friday 4th Jan 2019) and, to date, have not received any further contact from Very.
Absolutely appalling and disgraceful service and I will never order with them again.
The customer service staff are rude and have no interest in listening to what you are actually saying and understanding your situation - they just hear what they choose to and become focused solely on that. This becomes incredibly frustrating when you are already an aggrieved customer.

Ordered a bed and after 2 weeks my son sat on it and the side bar broke in 2. Rude customer service from very, no refund or replacement, they will pay 45 pounds towards an independent report if it proves it’s a manufacturer error but these reports cost in excess of 125 pounds! AVOID at all costs!
