An absolute sham. Ordered a watch in December 2017 and it never arrived. My husband has been chasing ever since for a refund and still almost 2 years later we're still no further forward.

Daylight robbery !
I have been battling with this so-called company for 10 months. I have taken out a money back claim that cannot be served because the address supplied is not registered with the company . They also trade as Milkyway distributions limited. They finally agreed to refund me the cost of the returned mobile phone and then blocked my emails and suspended my account ! This has cost me dearly in time and money. Trading standards are aware but still Venture Direct lives on to scam again ! Gutting !

This is nothing short of a scam! Ordered a mobile phone on the basis that it would be delivered within 6-8 days. 20+ days later I have not received it. Had one email saying that it would arrive 6-8 days after it was dispatched from the warehouse - this is not the same. I have emailed them 6 times and told them to cancel the phone using the email address they sent from which is the same email on the website and in their terms and conditions but have had no response. I have called the telephone number on the website (and in the terms and conditions) and got an automated service that puts you in a queue and then cuts you off after 1 minute. Did this several times. Used the chat service and told them what the problem was, I then waited over half an hour for a response but got none. All this time it told me I was number 2 in the queue. Have now asked my credit card company to recover the money. All this has wasted a lot of my time. DON'T EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS SITE!

Still no money back. Despite paying for these goods on 06 Dec. I still haven't received my money back as they just didn't deliver the products. THIS IS A SCAM BUSINESS !!!!!!!

The phone never arrived. They took my money and insisted that they have refunded me, and refused to acknowledge that the money was not refunded despite claiming they have checked with their accounts people. Fortunately, the money was reimbursed by my credit card company.

Do not purchase from Venture Direct, had similar experience to those listed below. They try to fob you off for longer than 120 days then you cannot claim back. Poor response from emails, (whole shipment missing, etc., please wait. We will refund-please wait longer than 25 days due to our technical issues. ) All a delay to get you past the 25 days period. Do not ask for refund, simply go to your card and say goods not arrived and they will sort.

PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They are con artists. Ordered and paid for a present at the end of November, item was not delivered when they said it would be so cancelled the order as it was a Xmas present. Still waiting for a refund 9 weeks later!! Email on a regular basis to get an update but get a pathetic answer each time with almost identical wording. Have requested dozens of times for how and who to put in an official complaint to but they never give me an answer. Tried phoning so many times now, wait patiently in a queue then when it is my turn the call gets disconnected!! Very frustrating.

In December 2017 i have ordered a Casio watch and they told me that will be delivered 6-8 days, so i paid some extra cash for a faster delivery 3-6 days after 10 working days i try to get in contact with them to see where is mult watch. They say that they even don't have a such a product in the warehouse.I ask them to give me my money back, they agree straight away but after 4 months still nothing .
So, I feel it's my responsibility to warn everybody not to spend their money with these people. You may not get what you expected from your purchase. If anything goes wrong, they will not help you.
PLEASE SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY !!!!

Never, ever buy anything from this company.
I ordered a Samsung galaxy 7 for my son at the beginning of September with the promise of delivery in 4-6 days. When it had not arrived after several weeks I cancelled the order and ordered elsewhere. After about 8 weeks a phone arrived - I opened the outer packaging slightly to see what it was. I received an email from venture direct saying my phone had been delivered. They apparently had not cancelled the order. I sent it back and now, 4 months on, they claim that the headphones are missing and that they are deducting a £130 restocking fee from my refund. They are scammers and utterly dishonest.

then they sent me email to choose different phone.
After making complain about Venture direct on this site, I was contacted by Venture Direct about Bad review.
They promised to refund but still no sign of seeing money going into my card.
It takes 30 seconds to do refund but I have been waiting 4 weeks and still no sign of money paid back into my card.
This firm is not even in UK even though they advertise as UK firm.
Thieves and Fraudsters running the firm.
I am now considering court summons for my money.
Big mistake choosing this company.

A terrible company !!!. DO NOT USE. I can only echo previous reviews. I was directed to their site via Amazon. Ordered a smartphone on 19th December 2017. Their system said it was in stock and delivery 6-8 days. Now April 2018. I cancelled the order in February but no refund. They keep fobbing me off when I contact them. Amazon say it is not their responsibility either !!!!

Tried to call them, no answer. Email, no answer. Web chat, they answered after 25 minutes, but told me they don't have information about my order, they will contact me in two days, but my credit card was charged...
Seems suspicious so I searched online and found many testimonies of betrayed customers. Weird that they have so many stars in google Shopping, that is how I found them, and the reason I trusted them. Did they fake those?
As it was evident this was a scam, I called my bank and they say they just have had another customer trying to get their money back from Venture Direct, the same day! Imagine the number of people been scammed that each bank is getting more than one customers a day trying to get their money back.
The other customer got a malfunctioning device. I didn't get a thing, so I filed a fraud report.
If they are not running dishonest scheme, then at the very least, they are thoroughly negligent. Ultimately, in both cases you don't get what you paid for and therefore people should not trust them.

I have a same huge problem with Venture Direct like everyone else.
I have ordered a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge 128GB Smatphone on 25th November 2017, it cost Ł409.
By the advertisement I have wait 10 working days and nothing.
I have called them and the lady just apologized for the delay and she said, she will be email me about my order.
I have called them 3 more times and the answer was the same lame excuses.

They just get rid of people with money?
Is there any chance we can get our items or claim back our money or what we need to do?

You don't deserve even one star. Still waiting for a refund, since December 20th, 2017. I now have a judgement in the UK court against them. Venture Direct is a total scam. They will take your money, you will not get your goods and you will not get your refund just lies lies lies.

here is another story one of a lot I read here ... 6th of December I ordered a product (supposed to be Christmas present) as they suggest 10 working days I was waiting till the 19th for shipping information (which of course never arrived). Tried to contact them through phone line , after an hour waiting one the "queue" line went nowhere ... I tried the online contact 45 min later an operator showed up !!! information I got was that product was not available !!! I could hold on my order but they had not clue if and when they would have that product again. I asked for a full refund at the 19th which of course never came , when I contact them again (through online contact service) and I was "reassured" that as long as they had information about my refund they would let me know... in my now opinion these guys are not only fraud but they make fun on their victims too !

Bought an item last June with express delivery as it was for a birthday present. Cancelled the order because it took so long with no reply from venture direct until they messaged me ages after saying that my item had been dispatched. I sent the item back in July and I'm still waiting on a refund now! Absolutely ridiculous! Keep getting told something else everytime I finally manage to get through to them ( worst customer service ever). In July I was told I would have the refund in 48 hrs and 7 months later I'm still waiting. My order number is 50610623

I ordered a mobile phone for my daughter at the beginning of December. I did this in a hurry without checking the website first. The next morning I decided to look for a review on Trustpilot and read all the other entries.I realised immediately that I had made a mistake and telephoned my bank. They said I had to wait before I could raise a dispute to allow Venture Direct time to complete my order even though it was highly unlikely it would arrive. They gave me a date to telephone them back which I think was about ten days. I telephoned the bank on this date and raised a dispute. I didnt attempt to contact Venture Direct I only emailed to say I wished to cancel my order to which I had no reply.
I received a refund from the bank last week. My advice to anyone who has ordered from this company is not to waste your time and energy emailing and telephoning them, just pick up the phone to your bank and raise a dispute. It will save you a lot of heartache.
