I have purchased my insurance through Vehicle Rent last year. We had a small accident and paid to Eurocar and Vehicle Rent confirmed that they will give us the refund. I have been trying to get my refund for last 10 month now and they stop answering my emails.
Even though they said:
"On Tue, 9th Jul 2019 at 1:27 pm, Post Rental Support wrote:
Dear ......
Thank you for your email.
I confirm your claim has been successfully processed and your bank account details forwarded to our accounting on 9/7/2019. You are entitled for a refund of 173,60 EUR. Based on our terms and conditions, administration fees are not covered by the Super excess refund.
Please note it may take up to 90 days for the refund to be processed, however I will get back to you as soon as I receive any concrete information.
Thank you for your patience and understanding on the matter."
I still want my refund and searching for legal proceedings now/

I bought a Relax Package with Vehicle Rent. Having a Super CDW from Vehicle Rent means 0 excess.
After a accident in Albania, i paid 800€ to supplier (Green Motion). Based on my agreement with Vehicle Rent they had to refund me this amount but they never did this. They did everything to refuse my case, they asked me million of papers, i provided them all this paperwork. Finally they called Green Motion, got their OK and approved my case, but just in papers. Never refunded me!! Thousand of emails without answer! Now i see that Relax Package is discontinued!
Never again with Vehicle Rent!!!
Renting a car through direct supplier websites seems more reasonable and practice.

I want my 500 euros refund ; what are the reasons of this intolerable and unaccetable delay?
1) I has waited for my money since 2th september 2019;
2) I called twice;
3) I wrote several times as you know;
4) I had an answer by Emily after a critique published on the italian internet site.

Don’t take out their ‘Relax Package’. Took out this policy and made a claim. Claim was authorised and approved but I never got the money back. Vehicle rent kept saying it’s with their finance department for processing, but that never went anywhere. Over 6 months later and still nothing and complete radio silence. Awful for a company that claims its cares about customer service. Don’t touch them, they are crooks.

We took a weeks car rental and agreed the contract sent through by this company. This contract included a full to full policy and no extra local charges when collecting the vehicle. When we collected the vehicle (from Firefly) we were forced to pay an extra £28 or decline the car rental. We were told by Firefly to take this up with Car Target Group/Vehicle Rent.com as the error was on their part. After multiple emails to Car Target Group/Vehicle Rent.com, across many months (Sept - Feb), they are still not even understanding what our complaint is, let alone resolving it for us. We will never use this company again, and would suggest to anyone on a tight budget that they avoid them.

I can recommend this company. We hired a car on NZ from Thrifty at a great price, the car was actually so much better than we thought it would be and all the processes were smooth, even when we had a bingle. I can completely recommend.

Booked online with no issues and had a great 3 weeks with the car in florida. Arrived home an 2 months later ALIMO had taken 850e from my credit card, Alimo is the company that actually provided me the car. It turns out that vechicle rent never transferred my payment over to them. When i rang vechicle rent they said they would look into it. It has been 5 weeks and im still no further on getting my money back. Its an absolute joke of a company with every contact i have with them i have to either call them or email them and its still the same were looking into it answers. Do yourself a favour and never rent anything off these clowns!!

I took out the insurance policy ‘Relax Package’ with vehicle rent. What a mistake. I’ve made a damage claim for 500 euros on this policy as I was charged for damage by the hire company. I was told they had sufficient details and that my claim has been approved and that it can take 90 days for the refund to be processed. It’s been over well 100 days and I’m still no nearer to any payment. Their customer service is non-existent - I’ve emailed a formal complaint after 90 days was up, and have had no reply. They don’t have a phone number except for the sales team and nobody will transfer you internally. Reading through previous reviews (hind sight is a wonderful thing) it seems I’m far from the only one to have this problem. DO NOT take the Relax package they offer - use another insurance provider

So after booking and paying in full for my car rental, I then receive an email from vehicle rent to explain my money will be refunded in full and I will then pay the car rental company directly when I pick the car up which is not a problem at all, but after nearly 5 weeks I still dont have a refund and have now been told that I will need to pay again and my refund will only happen after I have paid for a 2nd time !!! Absolutely shocking, and would avoid using vehicle rent at all costs. Yes you may find a cheap deal but in the long run you will be better off using a more reputable agency and paying slightly more........ part 2 so I receive an email this morning ( 2 days before travel ) to advise my booking has been cancelled as request, what ? Wait a minute!!! I never requested this to be cancelled. All I wanted was a refund so I have the money to pick my rental car up but no , this was to difficult for you. Veichle-rent is as useless as a chocolate teapot !!!

Rented a car with the relax package. Had a damage and were entitled a refund at the beginning of august. Since then no money. Emailed them and always get the same standard answer that they are sorry for the delay, ...
Legal action might resolve the issue.

Still no money... Company is not responding to emails anymore. For non eu citizen I think the only option I have is to pass my case to a debt enforcement agency. Since I have written confirmation from vehicle-rent that they owe me money, there is no doubt about their obligation to pay.

I arranged a booking with this company with the reassurance that cancellation protection was included. Having now needed to cancel my booking I have no confidence that I will be refunded. I have sent numerous email requests and called customer services over several weeks since requesting it, only to be told that it is in progress with no indication given of when this will be refunded. This is terrible service for such a simple request which is sold as a benefit of booking with this company.

Arrived in Poland after pre paying for my hire vehicle. On arrival told not received payment and charged again. Told to contact customer service who will sort it get a reply
We sincerely apologize for the issues on the location and we thank you that you sent the documents. We will forward it to our reclamation department and they will check the charges and contact the agency.
24 01 20 well still not received a refund even after talking g to an agent no reply from emails really the worst car hire company I have ever come across

Avoid this company at all cost. Biggest scammers on this planet. I made a claim back in June, I was told all the documents have been verified and I will receive my refund according to my super access policy. They told me it will take 90 days to get my refund. Its been 5 months ! And I keep getting the same email. It seems like they don't want to pay up. I'm taking other steps to get my money back as I've had enough of this fraudulent company vehicle-rent.
I will also be posting on other platforms about my experience with this company and getting in touch with the relevant ombudsman team. Seems like this company is a big fraud.
I suggest people struggling to get their money back to do the same.
Time to name and shame !
