I like it ! But sometimes you have to wait...

We had a poor experience here which was a shame as I liked the look of the place

My pasta was badly 'cooked'. It was quite flavourless and half the spaghetti was in clumps rendering it quite inedible. When I told the 'waitress' she just said "oh you should've had the pizza". Brilliant.
Then when paying the girl on the till who was clearly on auto pilot asked me how my food was so I replied "rubbish", to which she replied "that's good". So clearly not even listening. Again, brilliant.
Definitely won't be going there again.

We have made a reservation table as we were six adults and a child.As we all sat at the table realised that we all had to get up and get our orders even drinks..
The whole group were separated in different queues, like after while my daughter’s pizza was ready she had her dinner alone, as we were all between queue and waiting for each other.. in the end the food was already cold..
They prepared pasta sauces without olive oil??? results are very poor,oily,tasteless and quick cooked.
Pizza and the bread are very good though.

The most disgusting pasta I ever had. I ordered delivery to home and it came more disgusting than ready-meal in shops. Never ordering again!!! Bacon hard as a rock and not Italian style of pasta at all! No one should need to eat such bad food.

Queuing forever while your friends queue somewhere else for their food.

Pizza=bastardised hope this say it all

I come to this place every week, sometimes even twice a week and I’ve never had a bad experience until the last time I’ve been. The receptionist that wears glasses is very rude, my friends and I had brought in cans of drinks that we already were drinking on the way to the restaurant, the lady came and told us we were not allowed to bring in anything to drink from outside, I totally understand that, and I respect it, however, the way she shouted it at us we felt very uncomfortable, almost everyone sitting in the same room as us noticed.

I’m a pasta lover.I ordered pasta shrimp sauté with tomato sauce and fresh chopped chili every time I went to this wonderful cozy restaurant in Düsseldorf Germany. You can’t imagine how wonderful it is, you can always eat your food with fresh basil and rosemary plant top of your table ?omg I miss that delicious taste every day I forget tell you they are super friendly and kind. My son loves it to❤️

Probably one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had in Manchester this afternoon.
Don't waste your money or your time.

Seems like a good idea but u need to queue for ages (20mins - no exaggeration) to get fresh made pasta which is cooked so quickly it's hard (raw tasting) when served. Pizzas were undercooked and they had a limited range of toppings, a right soggy base because they are trying to free up space for the giant queue of people's pizzas.

The staff were under a lot of pressure, I swear I could almost hear them saying who the hell came up with this stupid idea.

The worst pasta I have ever had !!!

I ordered spelt fusilli with creamy mushroom and got a plate of unsalted sticky pasta with no white sauce whatsoever and possibly about 1 mushroom, if at all any!!

My friends ordered tagliatelle and penne with creamy mushroom and got exactly the same.

You guys specialised in two things, pizza and pasta, how can you get it so wrong??? And charge £9 for it??? I am Italian and I can guarantee that pasta with funghi is nothing like what you serve here!!

Hugely disappointing and the service was rude and unprofessional.

Unpleasant staff at the Vapiano in Amsterdam.
My girlfriend went in to order two dishes for us and I ran in a little while later to help carry it outside.
When we came down to the entrance they wouldn't let us out because I didn't have one of those cards you check your food into.
I never realized you needed to have one of those until this point and they thought we were trying to scam them or that I might just have forgotten i received one telling me several times to check my pockets.
I would obviously know if I had just been stopped going in there so they could give me a card, but that didn't happen.
Took us a few minutes to convince them that we already paid for the two dishes we got.
The staff at the entrance was generally unpleasant to us for the rest of the evening and told us "Next time, don't come back." after my girlfriend had used the restroom.

I think this was one of the worst restaurants I've ever been to

This Vapianos has been regularly out of ingredients for multiple dishes and salads. The only reason for two stars was the employee really trying to help.

Additionally, the food is very tasty and worthy of good reviews, but I hate the chino system!

I was unsure whether to give it a 2 star because every time I have been to the restaurant near Oxford St. I have always had a pleasant experience. In fact I have recommended this place to so many friends. BUT I never ordered a meat dish before...we decided to order spaghetti bolognaise and meatball spaghetti. I was alarmed to see frozen meatballs put straight in the pan and heated for 5 mins. The mince in the spaghetti is minimal (you can barely see the mince). I question where they store the meat products as well. It is claimed that it is 'homemade' meatballs but there is nothing homemade about it, very tasteless and certainly not fresh.

I had food poisoning later that night and my friend had an upset tummy. I am bitterly disappointed because clearly they are making shortcuts and jeopardising health of the customers. It is a shame because I like the concept if you can get past the idea of waiting in a queue for a while. The best thing I love is their fresh ciabbatta bread though.

Lovely spacious place with great interior decor and ambience. First time eating here with my gf; we ordered Verdure(pizza with roast veggies) but we were surprised when told the veg was out of stock so we had to choose alternate toppings; olives and peppers. Pizza was tasty but could have been much hotter and more cheese on top. The Bruschetta Gamberetti antipasti was well presented and awesomely tasty. Not a long wait for the food. Coca Cola was in vintage glass bottles which makes it tastier than thre one in can

Ok so they have great food for the price that they are offering. Wouldnt bring my date there but yeah for a quick lunch its great!

Used many many times in Germany and fabulous.
First time in UK in Edinburgh. How could they differ so much and get it soooooo wrong.
Pizza - they forgot mozzarella!
Pasta - one chef queue 15 minutes.
Left disgusted.
No apology except to be told 'you can't complain as head office is in Germany and no one speaks English!'

Took my family after hearing about Vapiano for some time i wish we never went this was not Italian the pasta was not al dente it was stodgy and very congeled our food was extremely oil and bland definitely not my idea of Italian its vapia-Nooooo for us.

My favourite restaurant! King prawn linguine! They make it on the spot. Best time to go is weekdays and lunchtime or between 3-4 when it's not busy. If it is busy you're waiting a long time because it's popular. Food is delicious, staff are friendly. Me and my husband love it!! It's a dream :)

Scampi e spinachi! I am not sure about the spelling but this is my all time favorite pasta from Vapiano. Great price/ quality. Very tasty! + Student discounts

Quality varies from Vapiano to Vapiano but in general, I think it's a good concept and food. Sometimes the experience is better, sometimes it's worse. Usually Vapianos are great in Austria / Germany. But in New York or in Hungary it really depends on the staff.
