I'm done wasting my time trying to find the products I need at Ulta. I can go to Macy's or Sephora and the products are always in stock!

Ulta has the most AWFUL customer service out there. My order placed during their 21 days beauty was not delivered. For whatever reason, it got sent back to the company (I live with a 24hr front desk, it is 100% impossible for the package to not be received). I got no notification until it's been almost a week and I realised I was missing my package til I knew that my package was never delivered. I immediately emailed the customer service to replace my order on their end because the price of the items my purchased went back up. After me trying to explain my situation, they basically told me to duck off and they will do nothing to compensate my inconvenience nor to replace my order for me. Ulta is literally the most awful retailer Ive ever seen in my life. I have NEVER had a customer service so crappy and so lazy and rude.

I went to the Ulta in Spring Hill Tn and the employees there (aside from blonde cashier)were not helpful. I am not familiar with the store layout and asked for an item and the girl says it’s over there. I told her I wasn’t familiar with the store but instead of showing me the item since there’s thousand of products. She chose to continue to speak with other employee. I just left.

I ordered 87$ worth of product, and didnt realize the free $127 bag wasnt in my order (spend over 80, get the free bag). So, I called to have them cancel my order so I can reorder and have the bag included. They couldn't cancel it, but put a "request" to cancel it. They stated I'd get a "response email" within 48 hours. Well. I got an email saying my order was shipped. I will be returning all products and will not be using this company anymore. If I'm spending that much money, I should be getting the free product. The customer service rep stated your supposed to add the item to your cart while shopping...well how am I supposed to know that? Every other site I use, legit every other one, adds in the free gifts automatically.

Worst online shopping experience in my life!!!!!!!!
They took $58.64 of my money and sent me NOTHING!!!!!!!! Then one of their minions (Adrian) lied and said I would get a refund. There is no refund and they won't return my emails. GO TO SEPHORA - you deserve to be robbed if you shop at ULTA "D" list organization for sure.

I love the store. But ordering on line this last time was so upsetting that I will NEVER order from them again - somehow my Unit # on my address did not transfer over to my order I have Ulta delivered at least once a month so it was a glitch in their system - I was going out of town and needed the products - My order sat on the delivery van for over a week and Ulta would not release the package to me via phone. I went on line to Sephora and they delivered my package 2 days later Their customer service department was dismissive and no help at all.

I love ulta and go every three weeks for hair service but their online system is TERRIBLE. Eventhough your CONFIRMED appoint does not count UNLESS you receive an email from them confirming, I received an email confirming my appointment for 12:30 today. I arrived at 12:25 and they told me I was late. I showed them my email which showed my appointment is at 12:30. Plus, I received a call confirming 12:30. I have seen many other clients go through the same thing. One woman was in tears a few months ago because they said she did not have an appointment although she showed them a snip of her confirmed appointment. Ulta, get out of the 1980s with your online system already!!!!

DO NOT GET YOUR HAIR COLORED HERE! I should have read the reviews before I decided to do my hair color here. After a different Ulta Store cancelled my appointment in Park Meadows I was referred to get my hair colored at this store. I have blonde hair and needed to go just a shade darker blonde for the Fall. I even brought in extensions with the color I wanted. I left with red/dark brown hair from this salon. It was late in the evening and the stylists could not fix my hair. The next morning the store general manager called me (Cassandra) and told me that they couldn't get me in to fix this disaster at any location until the next day. Plus I would need to pay for my next service. I spent 3 hours at the salon and would need to spend another 3 hours getting it fixed. I am a single mom of an 18 month old. Getting that much time away is almost impossible. Long story short, please go somewhere else, this place is over priced and you will not have a good experience as you may want to be a blonde but walk out a brunette, with no one taking responsibility for it but just tell you that your hair took color differently.

DO NOT ORDER ONLINE FOR A STORE PICKUP!!! I noticed my store had online ordering available for store pick up. One day I didn’t feel like going to the store so I shopped online and thought I would try it out because we were going to need some shampoo and stuff. As soon as I logged in all the current offers displayed and I was told if I placed an order for $75 or more and used my store card I would get 350 points so I was like ok sure! I ordered my items, used my card and checked out. I received a confirmation email within a few minutes letting me know they were gathering my items and would let me know when they were available for pick up. A few hours later they sent an email stating only some of the items would be available and that they would get the rest of the order ready and let me know when the out of stock items would be ready. I picked up my items a few days later and the girl at Ulta confirmed that yes I would be informed when the other items were available and they would charge my card for the rest of the order and I would get my points. LIES!!! After two weeks with no notification and no points I sent an email to customer service with my order number and was told that they do not rain check out of stock items and that basically I was sol on the points and the rest of the order. So I took a screen shot of the email I was sent and they said the same thing three times and then I realized we were getting nowhere. Their customer service is the worst and I’ve never had such a horrible time with online ordering. They also completely disregarded the what their email said. Done with them.

Through their fault, my package was delivered to my old address and I am in a wheelchair. I called and a really rude guy (John or Jeff) was suggesting I go to the old address to retrieve the package and said I could not get a refund or replacement. I called and got someone who wanted to keep my business and she gave me a refund. In the meanwhile. I tried to find the package. The new tenant stole and opened the package. Claimed she found it opened. The next day my husband went to pick up the opened package. Of 3 bottles, one was still new, one had been opened and the third was missing. I took the product back to the nearest Ulta location and gave it back. I emailed Ulta again and got one thank you for being honest. Then today, someone named Cora emailed me to tell me there would be no refund or product I have so had it. I was just doing some early Christmas shopping! This has soured the entire chain for me.

I ordered $150 worth of items 7 days ago! No one reached out to tell me the order was incomplete. No one can tell me WHY for 48 hours, and I won't get my products I ordered. Refund takes 10 DAYS! I already waited 7 with zero coordination! I called and asked and they said it was on the way, call again the next day and they say it was incomplete. I'm never shopping at Ulta again. They can't carry their weight when something goes wrong.

Chicago North Michigan store.....customer service low. Floor staff not helpful. A staff member was helping a customer in a isle however they spoke continuously without staff working politely moving to side so I could look at product. I waited patiently and when they were finished the staff member didn't ask if I needed assistance. I found the items myself. Wow!

Would give zero stars if I could. I had trouble with getting an order that I made online and it took FOUR separate phone calls to get my issue resolved. I submitted a complaint online and the response was pitiful. I have a credit card and have literally spent thousands of dollars at this store over the years. Never ordering online again.

The Ulta Store in Fort Worth off Heritage trace is awesome! Staff always veryfriendly and helpful! I had a spiral perm done yesterday, it looks amazing and I love it! Morgan did an excellent job!

My daughter and I went to Ulta in Winchester, Va to spend our $14.00 in purchase points. We got our selections,headed to cashier and asked her to redeem our points. The cashier told us that we had only $9 in points and we wanted to use them. She asked us if we wanted to have receipt emailed and I said "yes". We left the store and went to a different store (same complex) and realized that she had not credited us our points ($9). We came right back and the cashier acted as if she had never seen us or made the purchase. I asked her if she could refund us the points and she said "not without a receipt ." I told her that I didn't have my phone on me (which I didn't )and was an hour away to retrieve it. She didn't care and didn't want to accommodate us and bring up register receipt. My points expire June 30th and I will be out of state. Thanks Emily and ulta for your crappy customer service!

I just went to Ulta in Tualatin and the girl who cashed me out Rocked!!! Jocelyn!!!! She was very helpful and even helped me pull up coupons on my phone! :) I spent over 300$ so any amount taken off was awesome!

Ulta’s customer service is absolute garbage. I called because my package got lost, so I wanted a replacement. The ONLY reason I bought almost $80 worth of products is because they had a free gift with any $70 purchase. When I asked for a replacement, he said they couldn’t send the free gift. So then I asked for a refund. He told me “he wasn’t sure if he could” and then proceeded to be rude and raise his voice to me about me wanting a refund. He told me I “may or may not” get an email but if I didn’t, I’d have to call back and go through the whole process again. Not ONCE did he say he was sorry for any of this. Needless to say, I have yet to get a package OR a refund and I plan to never buy from them again.

I’m one to rarely write reviews or provide feedback. However, after my most recent experience in Pensacola Fl I feel like it is absolutely necessary. I was making a purchase on Saturday afternoon when the cashier told me I’d receive 20% off my purchase if I signed up for the Ulta credit card. I was hesitant but was informed that it only took a moment and I could pay it in full immediately. Since I shop there frequently and I could pay it off right there I went for it. After the transaction I gave her my debit card to pay it off and was then told I couldn’t pay in store but would have to download an app to pay. Wait, what?? Okay, so I download the app which isn’t at all user friendly for someone just trying to make a payment. I then called in to make the payment & was told I’d have to wait 48 hours for the transaction to post. Okay... not at all what I was told. By this point I was frustrated but set a reminder to call back to pay. This morning I called again. The first person I spoke with had me on the line for quite some time before transferring me to the payment line after verifying all my info, etc. Second person verified everything again & then proceeds to tell me there will be a $9 charge for her to take payment information. This is after I shared my frustrations, so I asked to please cancel the account and transfer me to someone who can process my payment. On to the third representative who once again verified all my personal information and ultimately processed my payment. All in all it took 4 attempts (in store, app & 2 phone calls) to make a payment when I was blatantly lied to about the process. This last call took 3 representatives and almost 20 minutes!! This was one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. Absolutely ridiculous. I just wanted to let you know that you’ve not only lost my credit card account but you have also lost me as a customer for life. What a shame. Best of luck.

I made an appointment at Ulta in Mooresville, NC by the recommendation of a friend and ended up spending over $500 at another salon to have this catastrophe corrected. My initial appointment left me with hot red roots and dark auburn hair, so I returned to have it corrected. During that appointment, I asked the new stylist to simply strip out what was done and correct the roots. I left with the red roots still in tact and with icy blonde hair. Once I was able to get to a credible stylist at another salon, she found green and blue hair in the midst due to the different dye and toner reactions. Horrible and traumatic hair experience.

I’ve been to the marina Pacifica store and the Huntington’s beach store. I’ve noticed they avoid helping African American customers like myself: I’ve been treated rudely and have told that someone else needs to help me. I’ve had ppl say they were too busy to assist me and proceed to help a caucasian customer on several occasions There is a Muslim girl who works at the marina Pacifica location who is the biggest culprit at that location. If Gabriel union is thinking of having her product line at certain ulta locations then she is making a huge mistake as it’s clear to me that some locations don’t want people of color shopping there. I’ve shopped at ulta as it’s close to me but each time I leave feeling that I’m not appreciated or valued as a customer.
