Uber is such a shady company and they have terrible customer service. I placed an order and I ended up being charged more than double the amount. They refused to correct the total to what we agreed upon and I provided them with all of the info they requested. I even have a screenshot of what the price should be when it was in my cart. This company is absolutely horrible and they take out website glitches on their customers. Plus, their customer service is so rude and obnoxious. Shady companies like this shouldn't be in business.

UBER charged my checking account debit card fraudulently. This caused a huge upset with the family and overdrew our checking account. We were harmed by this. You cannot reach UBER by phone or email. They are a fraudulent company. Their CEO needs to go back to IRAN along with his terrorist and fraudulent buddies. He doesn't belong in America! Do not do business with them. They will hack your credit card too!

Uber has a scam they are being allowed to get away with. I ordered a ride that was 86 miles. Omar from Egypt showed up and before I could fasten my safety belt he said "get out"! I thought he was kidding but he wasn't. I needed to get to my mother as she was sick. Omar said "it's too far" "Uber didn't tell me it was so far" which is a lie as everyone knows. Then he claimed "I just got out from the hospital"
So they charged me for his tip $8.70 and for a cancellation fee also.
Omar discriminated against me because of the way I was dressed and would have given him a huge tip but he thought I was poor and refused to give me the ride he showed up to do.
Use anything but Uber they are not honest or a respectable company.

I use Uber a few times to pick me up between 5:30 am and 5:45 am for work. Someone came each time... on time. I scheduled a pickup 4 hours ahead of time and no one came and Uber didn't send me a message telling me no one would come. I missed work today. If they had told me no one was coming like they supposed to do, then I could've call around for a taxi. Uber is not trustworthy. Don't confirm something if you are not sure, Uber.

Driver early and pulled straight off without waiting
Todays ride was booked for 4.08 pm I got a text at 4.pm he had arrived early so I immediately ran out and could see him from my window all the time, he pulled up and drove off immediately without waiting, I stood in the road behind his car jumping up and down so he saw me and decided to come back after 10 minutes. He came out with a mouthful of lies why he drove off. I was in an emergency and got in the car and he later charged me for waiting time. I have tried to resolve this with Uber but I was getting nowhere so I will keep leaving reviews about this third world selfish operation and I have deleted my account with them. Never pay for anything up front and give your bank details to these type.

Uber charged me twice for a trip. They said the first was an authorization hold of 37.74. Then after the trip charged me 49.26 for a vehicle upcharge. Whatever the hell that means. I disputed the charges and was told the 37.74 was voided immediately after the trip. The trip was on Friday. My bank transactions clearly shows I was charged. Now they saying it's my bank taking it's time to refund the money but my bank tells me if they voided the charge immediately after the trip I wouldn't be seeing it on my statement as a charge. This company is a rip off! Screw you Uber!

I scheduled a ride to the airport and then guy who was supposed to pick me up did not call or notify me he was there. Instead he sent me a cancellation bill. I can't get a hold of an actual person. The help center just gave me a run around. The phone number doesn't take you to an actual person but on a website that leads back to the app. Uber isn't very accommodating in their support and as far has refunds go... no one got back to me regarding how it will work. This is NOT a good product! I don't even want to give it a rating.

If you do need to contact Uber... and you WILL, be prepared for mind boggling, head banging on the wall, amazingly superior INCOMPETENCE. You can ask a super detailed question 20 different ways and get copy pasted replies, sometimes identical ones, over and over again. Usually I crack by the 10th email and threaten to go on social media before someone who can read and pay attention properly actually shows some interest in looking into the inquiry like a normal intelligent adult. The rest of the time Im convinced its just a group of monkeys pressing buttons in exchange for treats.

Dropped my phone in uber and had to wait almost 3 hours to get it back on top of paying 15 dollars to get my stuff back. And I got called stupid by a random customer named Joseph because the driver had the call on speaker. The driver laughed and completely disregarded the nasty comment and the fact that I could hear it. Getting my own car bc *** uber.
User's recommendation: Make sure you have everything before you leave.

Usually Reliable, and can get a ride fast anywhere and for a reasonable price. But sometimes there may be hiccups, for example one time the driver was not wearing a mask and another time they canceled on me and I was still charged a cancellation fee. But overall would recommend.

I requested a pick up and the driver cancelled, they charged me a fee of 5.44, held 35.00 for the trip, charged me the trip twice. I requested another pick up as the driver cancelled, the $35.00 fare became 63, uber gave me back 27.00, will never use their service again... ripoff

My 15 year old daughter was charged a wait time fee for trying to confirm that she had the right driver and vehicle picking her up as she had a screenshot image of the previously scheduled driver and vehicle on her phone that didn't match. I had sent her a screenshot of the previous driver and vehicle that were coming and this changed just before picking her up which I had not yet sent to her as it was a late switch.
I find it really hard to believe that there would be a charge for a 15 year old young girl, because she wants to make sure that her Uber driver is the right one and her trip will be safe. Come on
Plus they say they will allow a couple minutes before they start charging late fees which is probably the amount of time it took my daughter to call me and confirm

It's such a pain just to get a phone number, half the time you recieve an email from support that you can clearly tell they never even read what you wrote... I've used Uber and Lyft about equally but realized I need Uber customer service a lot! Lyft almost never with a faster response time and logical responses.

On 8/17/20 I drove with Uber, which was quoted as an approx $14.90 trip, but I now, after reconciling my CC statement for August, find that I was charged surge x 4.8 for a total of $56.62. Total fare of ride $74.62.? This was not quoted to me and is a ridiculous cost for a regular distance fare of $7.88. I have been a long time Uber driver, but this is completely unacceptable. Needless to say will refute charge with CC Visa and my phone will be down one Ap. Love FLYT!

I called in because someone used my credit card account to take a ride. I called in three times: First call the guy Kunal left me on hold for about 20 minutes and the music that was playing stopped. Second time I spoke to a woman name Isabella Barrera who just kept telling me the same thing over and over about they don't support things like this. Third time Ronald Hernandez kept telling me the same thing as Isabella said and all I asked to do was speak to a supervisor but they don't seem to even understand that.

I strongly encourage any Uber customer to take a screenshot of each part of your transaction as you order and ride. It may be a little tedious but I'm sick of arriving at my destination and seeing an upcharge on both the ride and the tip. If I type in that I want to authorize a tip of $10, I don't want to see $10.25 on my receipt. If Uber chooses to be greedy by giving the driver $9.75 and keeping the $0.25 for whatever reason, that's a choice Uber makes. Screenshot each part of your transaction.

I use this service frequently. Unfortuneatly I keep getting charged 0.56 here and there for no reason. This company doesn't want to help you and it clearly shows as there's no general customer service line. Your issue has to be listed on the app. Just pick a random one and start complaining about your issue because they're all irrelevant anyways. Drivers for some reason are scared to approach my door or never arrive at my front door and I'm charged a waiting fee for it. Just stupid so I always end up desputing my wait time fee. This is a great service to use if you have money, but customer service is none existent.
