I wish I was able to give toluna no stars as they gave me no surveys at all after 3 weeks using it.
Unfortunately, I can only give them 1 star os that's that.

I can't believe all the very unfair/negative remarks on here re Toluna. I've been a member since 2009 & have been very happy with my rewards & the service i receive for my participation. Yes of course you'll get screened out sometimes - Because your profile doesn't fit! That's normal. The use Paypal & ALWAYS pay up or you can get Amazon vouchers if you wish. As far as i'm concerned it's the best survey site, quite unique in fact & if i've ever had to contact them they always respond.

This survey site is a complete con, you get half way through surveys and are then told that you do not qualify and the few points that you do accrue expire before you can gain enough to claim a reward. A complete ripoff and waste of time AVOID

Scam. You give them loads of information for nothing. Basically you fill in a complicated survey every time to see if you are suitable to fill in a survey and then get told you are not suitable. It’s a disgrace they are allowed to steal your information in this way. I will not be using them ever again.

It is really annoying when you sit for 30 mins ~ survey says it will take half of this time to do .
Then finally you hit the button to finish and instead of seeing Congratulations you have been successful ~ You will see an error message, you've been entered into our prize draw, or you are not what were looking for.
However these messages only appear after they have stolen your data. This occurs 25% of the time. Still I can be happy in the knowledge that Toluna CEO is doing well on the backs of the little people

Have spent a lot of time doing these surveys and the points can be good, that is if you’re not timed out after already inputting lots of information! It might be worth it for serious survey-doers but if you don’t have a lot of time on your hands and are looking for a quick reward I would avoid this survey site.

Surveys are rigged to take your data before telling you that you are unsuccessful.
Log in issues are a major problem.
Website is un-accessable often.
Rewards can take months and months to process.. if even at all.
Don't waste your time. Honestly.

Rewards are very small and smaller than the sister in USA. Takes forever to get anything. You can get out of a survey after spending 20 minutes and NO REWARD AT ALL.
Now I've learned your points "expired" and if you don't spend it quickly, they'll take them from your account without warning.
The surveys fails quite a bit too.
Overall, don't waste your time with it. It isn't worth it.

Although I had only joined a few weeks ago, I was getting frustrated at how many surveys were suddenly terminated several minutes in. Yes, you might need a different profile, but why not ask those questions first?
Then there was a survey for Lotto, where you had to watch adverts, and give your opinions, then watch the ad again and explain in detail you opinion. After about ten minutes of this, yes, you've guessed it, "we are looking for a different profile."
So I complained to Customer Service. Result? I get kicked out, my account is terminated "as you requested" (I didn't) and I can kiss my 50,000 points goodbye.

You have to really work at this to earn actual gift card's. You can earn the gift card's if you take part in every survey all day every day. That's even if your accepted. You hardly get accepted. Great layout and concept though if your the right person they need to fill out the survey's

One of the lowest paying of all the survey sites that I'm a member of. To get enough points for £35 paypal it takes many months because points for surveys are so pitifully small. To make things even worse they raised the points needed for £35 and your points are only valid for 16 months! I know of no other site that actually deletes your points after a certain time has passed, except 'Your Views', a toluna subsidiary unsurprisingly. The funny (or sad) thing is they even admit to you about their low point rewards and say to join their browser/phone monitor for 15k extra points a month. I joined their 'consumer insight' over a month ago just to see if I would get the points but have not received anything. Payment redemptions are sluggish too. Overall I wouldn't recommend.

Started with the survey site in April this year & it was amazing to begin with. I would do multiple surveys a day & be cashing in every month & receiving vouchers within 2 weeks. This all changed at the end of July.
I ordered an Amazon voucher, waited 8 weeks to then see my points credited back & the voucher cancelled on my account. When emailing the helpdesk I received very generic message apologising for this & assuring me that if I placed a new order it would be completed in a timely manner. I was a little hesitant but I did place further order, in fact it was £60 worth. Almost 7 weeks later I received an email stating my retailers vouchers had gone out of stock & my points were credited back again. I emailed the helpdesk to ask about this & again received a very generic message assuring me that if i place a new order it would be completed in a 'timely manner' I did & over 4 weeks later I'm still no closer to receiving my £60 of rewards. I've emailed the helpdesk to advise how long I have waited for my rewards, the last one being issued 25th July 2017 however they say they have passed my feedback over but rewards are issued in batches & they can't go into the system to find my reward manually.
Terrible service when I spend time doing surveys in the very little time I have as a stay at home Mum. I was using rewards to help with the cost of Christmas but this won't be the case now!

Every time I try to claim a reward...never get them.. they say "returned" when they have NEVER been sent! Am now on voucher 3...which I do not believe I will ever receive.

When I first started on the site, I could get an Amazon voucher every month or so.
This year it has been taking weeks and week from claiming vouchers to then be told they are 'not available' and being cancelled.
Lots of people deeply upset as different rewards no longer available so seem that they will not be sent before Christmas.
Extremely poor lack of engage from the staff, if you email them to chase a payment , al you get is a stick answer.
Seems the level of integrity of the site has declined badly in the past months.
In all honesty, I am not sure it is worth anyone wasting their time and joining now.

I want to be fair. I have successfully earned and received around £120 of rewards in vouchers since May this year. Just recently however the Toluna site has had a lot of technical problems and it has been hard to make any significant gains. The issues are resolving slowly and hopefully we will return to a steady £40 a month rewards but yes the rewards take far too long to be paid out. I donated some of my earnings to American Red Cross an even that has been in processing for weeks? I dont understand why Paypal payments like that would take many weeks to process when a p/p payment takes just seconds? Customer service is fairly slow to answer but they are fair and they are replacing a voucher which somehow got lost in post. I have had many answers to technical queries..they are patient and responsive but often the issue isnt resolved and they blame our hardware.

Exceptionally poor survey site: points have very little value; surveys are poorly constructed; rewards take a very long time to earn and the a very long time to be “processed”; customer service team either ignore communications, or respond with useless, generic nonsense. After my current pending rewards are received I will be closing my account and focussing my time on Panelbase.net - a survey site that behaves the exact opposite way that Toluna does. Toluna is a disgrace and has absolutely no respect for its members time and contribution.

Terrible service. They suspended my account and after a week they told me that all my "earnings have been forfeited due to the violation of our Terms and Conditions (you were notified via email 24 hours before your account was suspended)." They have not provided any explanation, even though I have asked for it. Furthermore, they never sent me a notification email before my account was closed, so I have lost all my points and the Amazon vouchers I had already redeemed but was yet to receive.
Given the other reviews here and in other websites, it appears this is something that Toluna does regularly – I wished I had read these before wasting my time on their website. Someone told me that employees sometimes suspend user accounts to that have Amazon vouchers issued but not yet used so they can use them themselves!
I suspect the next step would be to report them to the Citizens Advice Bureau and if not a county court.

I have been a member of Toluna for over 8 years always paying attention and being honest in my answers. The surveys were more frequent in the past, however in the recent few months it became less and less and since July I haven't been able to complete even one. I contacted them and the very same day got my account deactivated and my points forfeited. When I contacted them again, they said that "The details of our detection techniques, including specifics about your individual case, is proprietary information that we do not share externally". So basically they robbed me of my earnings, gave no reason for terminating my account and there's nothing I can do about it.
Stay away.
