I had a problem with an internet and could not contact the landlord for some reason. I contacted Sales Manager who was in charge of my rental, and got very quick response, and during an hour the internet came back. Thanks for the great work you do in The Homelike.

This company was constantly behind me to pay a deposit before any tenancy agreement was signed. They asked me to pay the deposit directly to the landlord and they gave me the wrong amount, which was totally confusing and unprofessional. I asked to amend the dates and they said no because the contract was legally binding according to their terms and conditions, even though I did not sign a contract. The sent a threatening email saying I must sign the contract and they have refused to refund my deposit. Basically the deposit has been stolen. Please stay away from this website and company.

Because we have to rent an apartment for an external engineer the company has to sign the contract. That was not possible, so the contracts signature is not legally binding now.

The interface is easy to browse and filter the necessary information, such as the location of the listing and nearby facilities/atm/supermarkets etc., which is very informative and helps me visualize my future commute a lot better.
I have all the information I need to make the right decision and guess what, for a foreign ex-pat who barely able to speak german it just makes life so much easier as all the information is available in English.
I have no hesitation to recommend the site to anyone who is currently looking for a place for oversea assignments.

After sign contract and paid the deposit, the landlord disappears. I try to email support. Homelike just cancelled my booking say it's a double booking. They also say they can help me to get back my deposit. The contract is signed between me and the landlord. It's not their business. They can't connect to the landlord either.

After submitting a review to Trustpilot, I received an answer to my review. However, this response of them does not reflect the realities at all.
Homelike people, I am writing to you:
Every communication with you is recorded. Your misleading web site is recorded as well. How can you claim here untrue statements? Why don't you accept your mistakes instead of pretending to have a "customer care"? When did you prepare constructive solutions? Why didn't I get them? Your only motivation is to get money, whether you earned something or not. You tried to enforce me to sublet my apartment with the wrong pricing and with wrong utilities without taking any responsibility of your faulty web site, bad customer care at all. You tried to get money from me although you did not fulfill your broker duty. Your wrong and completely contradictory website creates a problem, your customer "care" does not solve the problem. And then on top of that your people are trying to take advantage of your faulty website. All you think is "give me money" without giving any service. For sure you will not receive any money. What broker service did you deliver to me? Is there a signed contract? You are telling other stories instead of accepting your mistakes. This experience with you should be public to all people, who use Trustpilot. If you don't recognize your limits further, my attorney would be happy to remember you German Laws! If this case is escalated further and you don't understand and accept your mistakes, my attorney will triggered. And you can expect this story to see in the newspapers as well after this case is escalated.

The service is good.
Having no fees on the rental is a great benefit!
What could be better:
1- The support. I’m trying to reach you on intercom but no one responds.
2- handling the agreement (contract) by having a german version and an english version.
3- provide more info about the landlord and the process like how the deposit and payments will be handled.

The Homelike website was refreshingly easy to use with plenty of photos and filters to help narrow down the numerous property choices available.
Once our choice was made, it was a breeze to make a booking request and get an immediate confirmation.
I would have given a 5 star rating if it were not for the absence of customer reviews for each property, which I believe is of top importance to tenants like myself, seeking a longer stay ( two months in my case )
Also, showing the floor plans for each property would be a very welcome addition.

As a landlord I have been renting my apartment via Homelike since the last 3 years. They are always attentive, respond fast and always helpful with any sort of issues or questions.
Especially Nina happens to be great agent for any concerns I feel I can trust her.
