It took 2 months and 4 phone calls to get The company Store to properly process my order of items the were "In Stock". I orderd on line and the online tracking did not work "no orders in my accout" and when i called the service staff did not know what thery were doing and said my order was too complicated to figure out - it was for 4 items. Don't shop here!

I ordered some blackening curtains and a rod to hang them. Paid in full card charged at time of sale. The items supposedly shipped, (my nightmare probably isn't over yet) I wake up to Amex calling me to let me know they blocked them, as they tried charging g my card again multiple times. Every hour on the hour to be more specific. Amex refunded immediately except the original charge, which they said they would handle if I don't get my items...
Great way to treat your customers... BUYER BEWARE

Trying to make a return but I am told the UPS site is not working to send me a return label. They then said I cannot return anything until they finish doing their inventory because it would confuse their count!! What kind of company is this? Products have gotten much more expensive but quality is not any better than the past. I should've bought my down duvet from any department store.

I ordered in door out door reversible rug because the color matched my bathroom only to see when it came the color is totally different. It looked orange in catalog but it is red. I am not going to return it because it would be a hassle but will think twice before I ever order anything else from you

I ordered about $800 worth of products on 16th of December. I was overseas they claimed they could not reach me by phone, I asked why they didn't send me an email. They claimed they did, however, it was through a different server completely, which didn't actually include the company name, it looked like spam and it went right to the spam folder. So here I am waiting to receive my items, and if I hadn't called I would not have been the wiser. I spoke to some guy called Bob, who was so rude and unpleasant, I honestly do not think this company wants to be in business. They cancelled my order and now I have to go shopping elsewhere to get the sheets. I think reading Bill K and Everett B's reviews, I dodged a bullet as I haven't been charged, thank goodness! STAY AWAY!!!

I attempted to return an item which was big enough for two of me, although it was size XS. The return process was the nightmare. They will not send you return label, and require you to locate your tracking number, go to the UPS website, and print out your own label. Okay, that can be done, though it's annoying. However, once at the UPS website, the label would not print. The Company Store sent me three different links to print the label, and none of them would print.
I will never, ever order from this company again. Don't order from them unless you enjoy spending several hours trying to process a return.

"Down alternative" comforters . . . sounds nice doesnt it . . . well that's because the advertisers know just how to word things to dupe the public. "Down alternative" comforters are just another way for the makers to lower the quality of their product thus adding mega profits to their pockets while making the public think they're doing them a favor. I'll lay odds that "down" cost the makers way way more money than the cheap-o "down alternative" does.

They took my money (credit card) they sent me an email authorization for 39.00 for slippers for my mom. after 2 days of getting no confirmation of shipping I called and was told they were sold out of that item. I cancelled and scolded them for making me think my mom's slippers were coming, until I called. They are too old of a company to do business in such a slipshod manner. Aslo on the initial transaction I was not charged tax, but after cancelling the order they sent another invoice stating it had shipped (a lie) and added 2 more dollars in tax. Horrible company.

I was dissatisfied with one of the products. Customer service was very apologetic for any inconvenience and were happy to arrange for FedEx to pick up and return at no cost to me.

Order towels on Aug. 23, received an email on the 25th (Sunday) that the items were shipped. Thought everything was good. On the 29th (Thursday), I checked to see where the package was, and it was still showing "Label created" but no shipping information, which means it didn't leave their warehouse. I called their customer service and was told to contact the shipping company (UPS) that they had the package and that they were within their 7 to 10 days shipping policy. I contacted UPS and UPS told me they did not have the package at the time, (which I already knew). UPS is not in the business of holding packages and not shipping them. So I called back The Company Store and was told again they were within their 7 to 10 days shipping policy. I could hear several other operators in the background saying the same thing to people. Ok, I will wait, but I asked why would send me a UPS tracking number and not ship it. No answer of course, well if unless you count we have 7 to 10 days to ship. So I waited until the 11th business from my order and checked the tracking number again. And to my surprise (not really), it still had not shipped. So I called again, and got we are sorry, we will contact the shipper and find out why your package has not shipped. BTW, just a background on me I work for a company that ships product to customers on a daily bases so I know when someone is lying about the shipping company, which is UPS, holding the product. So here on the 12 th business day it now the towels shows being shipped. I only hope it is the correct towels and that I don't have to return them.

I ordered a bedding set for my son. When it arrived it looked like it was used. I returned the items on November 6, called customer service a week later to check on the return and got some lady on the phone that I could barley understand and really had no interest in helping me. Here we are 12 days since I dropped the package off at UPS and still no refund or email stating they have received my return.

I purchased a flannel duvet cover in late september and just put it on the bed today. This is the worst! The quilt will not stay in right, there is all kinds of wrinkles and just won't lay flat. I have been using duvets for thirty years and have never had this problem. Because I will be keeping it folded at the end of the bed I can get it to smooth out, but if you want one to use as a cover do not buy a flannel duvet from this company.

The pillows I ordered were advertised as firm but were flat, and the pillow protectors did not fit. They do not provide return shipping labels so I had to stand in line and ship the large box for $20. They finally refunded three of the four items separately and I was forced to email, then call them and give out my credit card number to request a refund. What a total pain! I would never order from them again.

I ordered two euro pillow cases (on final sale). I ordered before reading the reviews and was very nervous. However I had no problems at all. My order came about a week later and exactly what I ordered in good condition so overall very satisfied.

I called to exchange an item I'd purchase that was too large. Turns out you can't return OR exchange items that are on clearance (end in $.97). It was the first (and last) time I purchased from the company store. If they can tell you the price on the website, don't you think they could put no returns or exchanges next to that? Damn right they could. But they don't. CRUMMY CRUMMY CRUMMY customer service. If Lands End can do it, so can you (HOME DEPOT!!!!!)

I'm just stunned by how much enormous effort and time I just had to spend on returning the WRONG item sent to me. I ordered a flat sheet, fitted sheet, and matching pillowcases. I received the flat sheet and pillowcases, but instead of the fitted sheet, I received a random Indian motife throw pillow cover for a sofa. It was so random and bizarre that my order for a simple set of sheets would be butchered like that. I called them immediately on Saturday morning and customer service told me to box up the incorrect item, fill out the return paperwork, and set it on my front step for FedEx to pick up on THURSDAY. So it sat at my front door for the better part of a week waiting. Today is Wednesday. A week later. I called customer service and they said they credited me the amount for the fitted sheet and if I want I need to reorder it all over again and pay for it. Again. WTH kind of customer service is charging $80 for a single sheet (times two plus $$ pillow cases) and then butcher the whole thing, including spending a spec of effort to make it right. Years ago, they used to be super awesome. Today THEY SUCK!!!

I recently ordered two Balsam and Cedar Luxe Boxed candles by Illume from The Company Store. I've ordered Illume previously from other vendors and they were beautiful and in perfect condition. The candles from The Company Story arrived with stained boxes and melted wax all over the mercury holder as well. Not gift worthy as I planned. I emailed The Company Store about the problem and they said I can return them and pay for the delivery and handling fee. When a product is defective, why should I have to pay for all of the shipping? It's not a miss order, it's a defective product The Company Store shipped.

I have ordered jersey knit sheets from The Company Store for as long as I can remember. Bought a new king size bed and needed new sheets. Unfortunately things have really changed over the last few years. My sheets arrived no where near true to color, looking like returned items. One bag was shoddily taped shut, the other sheet had been on the shelf so long, in the middle was a faded rectangle where the cardboard insert had been. Not what I expect for the price. A 35 minute call to customer service, excritiatingly painful. The sheets are going back obviously. In today's economy, there's no room in the market for bad customer service. Far too easy to order with Amazon. The Company Store... no more!

wanted 80.00 to send it back. What choice to I have but to keep it?

Bought twin size 100% cotton quilt with matching sham. Cute pattern but after 1 washing the cotton batting inside started separating after 3 washings (using their washing instructions) it is totally separating and only left with thin see through cotton (see photo)

I ordered my items over a week ago. Despite being assured on Monday that they would be shipping that day, they still haven't been shipped today (Friday). They say they have been doing an inventory, but that shouldn't prevent deliveries being sent out.
What kind of useless company can't do ongoing inventory management?
Why wasn't I informed of any potential delays?
Given the delay, why won't they give me expedited delivery?
Never buying from here again. Stay away.

I will NEVER buy anything from the company store again. I bought a terry cloth robe from them. They claimed it was as nice as the ones in hotels, plush, thick, soft, etc. I got the thing and first off, I am not over weight and the thing barely closed. Next, the robe was pretty expensive, 135 dollars. About a week after getting it, I saw ones just like it at a big discount in the catalog. They told me, the robes were slightly different, even though, they looked the same, so they wouldn't give me a discount. I tried to send it back, but the cost of shipping was ridiculous.
Next, only after a couple of months, the belt to the robe opened on the seam. Next, less than 7 months later, it is falling apart more and looks very tattered. The thing is thin, and the fabric rough and uncomfortable. The thing is a piece of garbage and the quality is no better than Dollar Stores quality. Not worth it. A piece of garbage.

My husband and I bought a down comforter from The Company Store so many years ago that we forgot when--but definitely past the multi-year warranty--probably more than twenty years. Our comforter recently started to open at the seams, so we thought that we would send them pictures and ask for advice. We were hoping to be able to purchase a new comforter at a reduced rate since we knew that our comforter had greatly exceeded the warranty date. We were SO pleased to learn that they would still honor the warranty, and in a matter of two days sent us a brand new gorgeous down replacement comforter. We couldn't be more pleased with this level of service and will certainly keep buying products from this great company.
