In general, landlords say that they want to “have order and method, and that there has to be calm in their flats so that neighbors don’t get disturbed”. But where can the landlord called AB Svenljunga Bostäder (part of the SvenBo organization) have this will? How does this landlord really want to have it? How does this equation match, when the landlord wants to have peace and quiet, but at the same time the landlord themselves cause an enormous noise that nobody can stand out with?
AB Svenljunga Bostäder says that they “care about their tenants”. But how can a landlord care about their tenants when they are themselves offending their tenants by causing that harmful noise? Is making noise in order to make people feel bad (people get hurt their ears by that noise, and an enormous headache) the same thing as “caring about somebody”, at least according to this landlord? Does the landlord know what their words really mean: “We care about you”?
This is where the truth comes. I can’t match this equation by myself, where somebody shall “care about people” and make an enormous noise in the same time. If you care about your tenants, leave them alone in peace and quiet and don’t misuse your machines in order to viciously make an enormous noise, like what AB Svenljunga Bostäder did. However, making an enormous noise in such a vicious way like what this landlord actually did is NOT THE SAME THING AS CARING ABOUT PEOPLE AT ALL!
I consider that this landlord actually deserves more criticism than any praise. Another thing is about waste separation in Svenljunga. The landlord has placed their waste separation stations with huge lacks of functions. The lacks I noticed directly were that there were too little containers for different kinds of waste. The only containers that were there were for coloured and uncoloured glass, one huge magazine container that was bigger than needed, and a microscopic container for cartons. How did this landlord think there, when people are throwing MORE CARTONS THAN MAGAZINES, that they placed the biggest possible container for magazines and ONLY ONE MICROSCOPIC CONTAINER FOR CARTONS? People having lots of cartons to throw didn’t get any space in the containers, and the containers were emptied far too rarely. The easiest way to solve this problem is to place a LARGER container for cartons, or more of the containers for the cartons, or to empty the containers more often. Or there’s a possibility to apply all of these solutions at the same time, just to make sure that the containers don’t get overfull.
Because of that other tenants have misbehaved themselves, this does not only affect the guilty ones, but also guiltless tenants. All containers that were in the area have been removed by the landlord in order to make it impossible for me and other guiltless tenants to throw our waste, even though we did everything 100 percent faultlessly. The landlord seems to be thinking like “it’s better to punish guiltless people than to prevent common guilty people from getting punished”.
No, as a tenant, there is only one thing I really can say about all of this: CHOOSE ANOTHER LANDLORD! I’m terribly happy because of that I don’t live in Svenljunga any longer, but instead I’m going to live where it’s better to live. Now I hope that both tenants living in the area that I’m moving into, AND that different landlord will behave themselves gallantly, when I’ll be a diligent tenant. I want to be treated like a diligent tenant as long as I really am a diligent tenant, not for a second shorter than how long I am diligent. I also want other tenants to be treated the same way like how landlords shall treat me, as long as other tenants are diligent, they must become treated the same way like they deserve. NOT FOR A SECOND SHORTER THAN THAT!
Therefore, with all of my best intentions I tell all tenants, no matter if you are a common tenant or if you have been renting a flat earlier, no matter if you were a tenant for SvenBo landlord or if you were a tenant for any other landlord, and no matter if you were a tenant for SvenBo or not, to choose a good landlord, which means any other landlord than this one. A good landlord is a landlord that gives their tenants all stuff that they take paid for, and AB Svenljunga Bostäder unfortunately doesn’t give what they take paid for.
UPDATE: Once I was about to move out from Svenljunga, AB Svenljunga bostäder has threatened to send a bill of almost 3000 Swedish crowns to me or my family because of that one of three keys that we've got has been lost. In one of their habitation areas, where my grandma was living, they were replacing locks and keys on their own charge. I've got information that the same thing was going to be done where I was living. My parents didn't handle to keep their eyes on two keys, therefore one of them has been lost. Of course I DON'T defend them for losing any key, but if there's an information going around and saying that the landlord is planning to replace locks and keys, then they should never threaten to send us any bills at all. Fortunately for us, the landlord never sent us any bills and there was no debt collecting organization that contacted anyone of us either.
