As a business owner, I can tell you this business has the worst customer service I have ever experienced and I deal with distributors and suppliers on a DAILY basis. Called May 15th and literally waited 45 minutes for an answer. Spoke with the lady for a few minutes but had to go because a customer was calling. Even after I gave her all of my information I was still unable to get into the account. Called again that following Monday (May 18th) and waited for another 40 minutes and never got an answer (keep in mind this is my business account I use for shipping out packages to my customers and has all of my customer information in it that I no longer have access to) so I decided to hang up and just use their contact form to hopefully get assistance. By the way there is no chat or email to use. That was Monday morning, later that day I submitted a post to facebook as I was running out of options to get my account back up and running. The next day I received a comment from a lady and then another comment from stamps.com asking me to contact them via [email protected] That was on Tuesday. As of Wednesday night I have yet to hear back from anyone at the [email protected] email or from the contact form and I have been trying to get a hold of someone since Friday. So here it is almost a week and I still can't get access to my business account. By the way they are also deleting comments on facebook. I have screen shots. The comments were not inappropriate only explaining the situation and asking was stamps.com still operational.

I will be cancelling this once I use up my balance. Not worth the monthly fee for the convenience. I can print my own parcel post postage directly from USPS and order stamps direct from them as well at NO EXTRA CHARGE.

Title says it all. Small business cleaned out again, working for shareholders. This is a taxpayers funded company that receives huge discounts from USPS = YOU!
When sending an email you have you never get a business like response. Call us they say. They are afraid of putting something in writing.
They do not have a physical addres where you can send them a letter by snail mail!

They sent me a trial offer to test "stamps.com" they not only did not give me the 9 stamps promised in my promotional offer, they charged me $1.00 for the one stamp i did print.

No support for OS X users, so we're forced to use the web interface which has extremely limited capabilities. I've contacted customer support several times asking for help and have gotten no help except "move to Windows and use our app." Gee, thanks.
The other huge weakness I've found is that the web interface uses the USPS API to validate addresses, but not all addresses are in that system. My local post office confirmed that several times for me, so if I ask the post office to mail something, they simply tell me the address is almost certainly correct but they can't guarantee delivery. Stamps. com REFUSES to allow an address they can't validate. I've had to drive to the post office several times to mail something... kind of defeats the purpose of stamps.com. My own business address can't be verified so I had to use one they suggested. One of my large clients, a very large hospital, can't be verified. Supposedly the Windows app allows you to relax the address checking rules but I don't think the web interface provides it.
There doesn't appear to be a way to just get a quote on shipping other than starting an order, putting in the data, getting the value, but then the order can't be deleted (or at least I haven't found a way to delete it).
The interface to the scale is clunky so I just manually enter the weight
The service works most of the time, so I just work around the annoyances and drive to the post office a couple times a week to deal with problems stamps.com isn't willing to address. If I can't figure something out, no sense contacting customer support because all they do is tell me to switch to Windows.

THE OLDER VERSION WAS MUCH EASIER TO FOLLOW. YOUR NEW FORMAT JUMPS FROM ONE THING TO ANOTHER AND YOU HAVE TO KEEP LOOKING WHERE YOUR NEXT STEP IS. TOO BACK AND FORTH.

Sometimes it works. Sometimes it doesn't. We've called for support and it works and then it doesn't again. We're throwing in the towel and cancelling our subscription.

The printer that we ordered did not work and the software could not be updated. I tried for hours and also tried the toll free number. What a waste.

I came to the website trying to mail a package. I got all my information inserted and then realized the high cost. I never completed the mailing. I received a member package and called them to cancel the service. Since then I have been charged $15.99 per month for services I have never received. Be careful what you sign up for. It appears they are not part of the BBB either.

Printing problems--when the Printer icon pops up on the screen, showing a page of stamps being emitted form the printer, instead of actually printing the stamps, the icon flashes on and off.

Stamps.com charged me a monthly fee for 2.5 years without sending any notification emails or receipts to make me aware of the chargesI just happened to spot it one month on my statement.
It was impossible to cancel onlineI had to email their "customer service" and they only cancelled it after several rounds of going back and forth over email. Email responses take several days. They completely ignored my multiple requests for a refunddidn't even bother to refuse the request, just ignored that I even asked for one at all. It seems to be a company policy to ignore refund requestsI contacted multiple customer service agents and every one of them completely ignored my requests for a refund.
This is hands down the worst customer service I've ever had from any company I've ever dealt with.
Please take my advice and STAY FAR AWAY from Stamps.com, you can get a better service for free from other companies like PirateShip (and they actually provide helpful and friendly customer service, with quick responses often within a few minutes.

Our office is located in a newly developed area and the closest post office is 17 miles away. With Stamps.com we are able to send out our mailings without needing to make a trip. Being able to purchase postage, order supplies on line is a real time saver for us.

I went to a USPS kiosk and sent a package. Apparently the Stamps.com is hooked up to the kiosk. A month later I got TWO charges on my bank account (debit card). When I called, Leslie J said I had opened two accounts and that is why I was charged twice. I asked him what I was supposed to get for this $15.99 (twice). He said it was for the privilege of buying stamps.
I called my Bank Fraud Unit. They said they had so many complaints about Stamps.com they immediately took off one charge as a duplicate. I had to call back the next day to stop payment and put the website on my fraud list so they will never be able to charge my 'account' again.
SHAME on USPS for getting into business with these scammers.
The gal at the bank fraud unit told this was one of their biggest complaints. Terrible.

For $15.99/month they give you the right to buy stamps, nothing else. The sign-up process is vague and basically all you sign up for is the right to pay $15.99. The software is crap. DON'T DO IT!!! I called TWICE to get my account cancelled in the span of 8 months and the charges continued until I finally spent 45 minute talking with 3 different level technicians to put a stop to it.

I subscribed to Stamps.com in early 2015, and realized that the monthly charge of $15.99 was in addition to the cost of purchasing on-line stamps, not part of. I cancelled the subscription, as confirmed by their email dated 12/15/2015. However, they continued to charge my credit card for the next year, in spite of a certified letter sent to their CEO, Ken McBride, 1990 E Grand Ave, El Segundo, CA 90145-5013 on September 22, 2016. No response to this letter was ever received.

Here is another company that kind of tricks you into a membership without making it fully obvious they are doing so. Also, the app that you download to create postage is cumbersome at best and not user friendly at all. I wasted $25 with this company and never was able to ship a single thing. Terrible business.

Was charged for nothing.
Signed up for an account as first time user. I and technical service couldn't figure out why my computer wouldn't allow a purchase. I gave up and bought stamps at a store.
They charged me for a purchase I didn't make. Next day I tried to get refund and explanation and they closed my account and would only refund me via a check in the mail. They refused to re-credit my credit card. So they TAKE money via cards but only REFUND money via a system that's inconvenient to customers.

Do not put your credit information in to get stamps unless you are prepared to have 15.99 taken out whether you know it or not. it is not free. since June 2013
I have been charged on my card and I didn't know it. didn't know that if you don't call them in 4 weeks to cancel you get charged. they will not refund your money either. they say that they expect everyone to review everything before using their site. so beware if you don't read the fine print.

You will be charged for your trial period! I didn't find this stated anywhere in the trial promo before signing up, but was charged for my trial period, and I didn't even have a chance to print/use it at all. They will not refund. Also, when I called to cancel, I was given many package options much cheaper (one was free) than the package I was automatically given and charged for. Seems they are hiding things and taking advantage of customers.

I was testing this out for a client to streamline her postage. I got a charge on my bill for their monthly fee even though I did not use their services and I was only testing it out.
Do not give them your credit card unless you plan to buy stamps. Make sure you read the terms carefully before you sign up.
