As a business owner, I can tell you this business has the worst customer service I have ever experienced and I deal with distributors and suppliers on a DAILY basis. Called May 15th and literally waited 45 minutes for an answer. Spoke with the lady for a few minutes but had to go because a customer was calling. Even after I gave her all of my information I was still unable to get into the account. Called again that following Monday (May 18th) and waited for another 40 minutes and never got an answer (keep in mind this is my business account I use for shipping out packages to my customers and has all of my customer information in it that I no longer have access to) so I decided to hang up and just use their contact form to hopefully get assistance. By the way there is no chat or email to use. That was Monday morning, later that day I submitted a post to facebook as I was running out of options to get my account back up and running. The next day I received a comment from a lady and then another comment from stamps.com asking me to contact them via [email protected] That was on Tuesday. As of Wednesday night I have yet to hear back from anyone at the [email protected] email or from the contact form and I have been trying to get a hold of someone since Friday. So here it is almost a week and I still can't get access to my business account. By the way they are also deleting comments on facebook. I have screen shots. The comments were not inappropriate only explaining the situation and asking was stamps.com still operational.

I like Stamps.com because I like the ability to create a specialty stamp for my business. It can get expensive though. Recently, the monthly fee went up to $17.99. I know they need to make a profit, but I believe that the monthly fee is getting pretty steep, and I'm not sure what it's for except access to the site. You pay the monthly fee, then for the price of the postage, then the price of the printed stamps. Then postage increases in price. I'm just not sure it's worth it anymore. I've considered dropping it, and if there are more price hikes, I'm pretty sure that's what I will do, even though I do like the service. It's all coming down to budget and what's really important.

I will be cancelling this once I use up my balance. Not worth the monthly fee for the convenience. I can print my own parcel post postage directly from USPS and order stamps direct from them as well at NO EXTRA CHARGE.

We just started using Stamps.com and after sending out two books we're very pleased with the convenience and the professional look of our labeling and package.

Title says it all. Small business cleaned out again, working for shareholders. This is a taxpayers funded company that receives huge discounts from USPS = YOU!
When sending an email you have you never get a business like response. Call us they say. They are afraid of putting something in writing.
They do not have a physical addres where you can send them a letter by snail mail!

My favorite part of stamps.com I'm a very small business, most of my shipping is card size with multiple weights, and I have my own mailing scales. I'm able to do my mail at my time, even middle of the night, ready for the mailman in the morning. I have saved beyond hours of time!!!

Your membership is too high as the discount is great but doesn't pay for the membership cost as can get the same from Post Office as don't have to go there either ,but PO doesn't give discount and when you make a mistake for a refund it takes 3 weeks to get the money back ?? !

Site works well and is easy to use. For a small company, the monthly fee is WAY too expensive to justify continued use; we will be dropping this monthly expense shortly absent a lower price tier option for entities using a small volume of postage. Really not so hard to buy stamps and hand to the mail carrier.

Each time I log into Stamps.com I have to reload the software program. Then it takes numerous attempts to get my scale to work with the program. I spend time on the phone with tech support and they did somethings that was supposed to fix the problem - it did not. That was several months ago. I called customer support a week or so go and waited on hold for a long time and finally had to hang up as a business call was coming in. If I didn't have dozens of stamp sheets to be used I would just go back to using regular stamps.

I struggled with a postage meter for years, lots of mechanical and technical issues and lack of service from the meter company. Then there was the outrageous fees associated with rental. After a meter malfunction, delay in getting a service tech out for repair, and extra postage spent on trip to the PO I switched to Stamps.com. Perfect solution for my small business!

Have only had it a few weeks. Very convenient, which makes it worth the cost, given that we live far from a post office but mail packages a few times a week. Very disappointed that several types of labels cannot be used from a Mac computer, as they are only supported by the PC-only software. I may not have enrolled had I known this. They even "let" me purchase $$ worth of labels from my Mac computer when I joined, only to find out I can't use them

I am an attorney with a solo practice who was totally fed up with our local post office where I used to spend far too many hours waiting in line.Stamps.com allows me to produce professionally appearing stamped envelopes in seconds and to replenish my stock of postage just by the click of a computer button. Over the years I have had many conversations with stamps.com customer service people and have found them to be unfailingly knowledgeable and courteous. Stamps.com offers an ingenious, time-saving improvement to my work life. It is money well-spent!

My company ships a lot of media mail (music books). With the USPS, we have to take the packages to the local post office. They won't allow you to print media mail labels on their USPS website. However, with Stamps.com, we are able to print the labels and the postal carrier picks up the package and scans it on the spot. This saves us a lot of time and money constantly driving back and forth and standing in line! The other Stamps.com options are great. I recommended Stamps.com to everyone we know. We have added a photo below and blocked out the owner's address for privacy.

My company ships out a great deal of packages a day, Stamps.com is easy to add a customer, extremely easy to create a label for a customer as well as add postage. One feature I would like to have is the ability to use PayPal as a payment option.

We switched from Pitney Bowes, and it was a very smart move.
Convenient, easy, quick, and doable.
We're able to process stamps and shipping labels in the office.

I've been using Stamps.com for at least 3 years. The service is great. I like not going to the post office every day. Stamps.com was the best decision that I have made for my business.

They sent me a trial offer to test "stamps.com" they not only did not give me the 9 stamps promised in my promotional offer, they charged me $1.00 for the one stamp i did print.

At first I was opposed to paying a monthly fee for a postage service so I bought a postage meter from another company to use for my small business. What I saved in a monthly fee was not worth the frequent battles to get my billing corrected, so I switched to Stamps.com. Yes, there is a charge for the stamp labels to print on, but this is offset by the reduced cost of first class postage versus stamps purchased at the PO. I love being able to print postage for packages and just walk into the post office and drop my packages in the box without waiting in the long lines at the post office! For personal use, I love being able to buy the special stamps labels for birthdays and other occasions. There are two reasons I gave four stars instead of five. One is that all the Christmas stamp labels are secular and there isn't even one religious one. Two is that software upgrades are difficult to accomplish because it keeps seeing the old software as open and will not allow the upgrade to be installed.

No support for OS X users, so we're forced to use the web interface which has extremely limited capabilities. I've contacted customer support several times asking for help and have gotten no help except "move to Windows and use our app." Gee, thanks.
The other huge weakness I've found is that the web interface uses the USPS API to validate addresses, but not all addresses are in that system. My local post office confirmed that several times for me, so if I ask the post office to mail something, they simply tell me the address is almost certainly correct but they can't guarantee delivery. Stamps. com REFUSES to allow an address they can't validate. I've had to drive to the post office several times to mail something... kind of defeats the purpose of stamps.com. My own business address can't be verified so I had to use one they suggested. One of my large clients, a very large hospital, can't be verified. Supposedly the Windows app allows you to relax the address checking rules but I don't think the web interface provides it.
There doesn't appear to be a way to just get a quote on shipping other than starting an order, putting in the data, getting the value, but then the order can't be deleted (or at least I haven't found a way to delete it).
The interface to the scale is clunky so I just manually enter the weight
The service works most of the time, so I just work around the annoyances and drive to the post office a couple times a week to deal with problems stamps.com isn't willing to address. If I can't figure something out, no sense contacting customer support because all they do is tell me to switch to Windows.

I have had the service for over four years now and I am very pleased to say that it saves me a lot of time. Looking back, I have save the many trips going to the post office. I do not have to be concerned about running out of stamps, envelops, boxes, labels, etc. because everything I need for mailings can be right to my door in a few days. As a matter of fact, the only time I have gone to the post office lately is when I am on my way to the vicinity, and I decide whether I want to drop off.
