Worst investment to date - builds up mold and bacteria even while following replacement instructions and regimen. Had a completely new system to replace origin and same result. Beware, as the doctor visits/ expenses to clear up my medical illnesses caused by this gimmick have been expensive. Stick to standard wash and clean on regular basis + replacement of components to your CPAP equipment as recommended... this system does not work and you will save yourself many headaches; literally. They need better customer service. Once they have your money, they do not care anymore. I received the wrong adapter, and the machine came in one day, and the adapter is taking 10 days. I spent $300 and cannot even use the machine. Very disappointed in the company.

I've had a CPAP for two years and recently purchased the SoClean 2. The setup and operation are very easy. I've found that by using SoClean, I've added an extra 2-3 hours of sleep per night. I wish I'd purchased one sooner!

I am so glad I purchased the SoClean for my husband. we had bought another brand and that one suddenly stopped after the warranty expired. Hmmmmm.
he loves the SoClean. he puts all his cpap gear in it, goes to take a shower or eat dinner and at bedtime - it's clean!
thank you for an easy cleaning machine.

I received as a gift the Soclean2 before I bought my CPAP. Just wow reading reviews of that machin. Threes weeks after, my mask turned yellow, not yellow, but YELLOW. I called the company, they start with several questions how I was using the Soclean machin. Yes and yes and yes.. I only used the soap included in their box, and the mask turned yellow. Their answer was, my problem was only cosmetic! 3 weeks, bright new mask, my first one actually. We cannot do anything for you! Since I received it as a gift, no receipt, the people who gave it to me did lose the receipt. JUST WOW! That is a good customer service, I have a bright new machin, and the company cannot help me as a new customer. PLEASE be carefull with the Soclean2. If there is more people with the same problem, please write your story, they will maybe do something after to help us. Thank you for reading.

We have owned a So clean machine for less then a year. Several months ago my wife began getting dizzy, getting
headaches and sinus infections after using the So clean machine. i on the other hand have not experienced any of these problems. Once she stopped cleaning her mask with this machine the headaches, dizziness, and sinus infections disappeared. I do not like the smell of the ozone after cleaning. I have put up with the smell and now wonder if this machine will cause medical problems down the road. Suggestions?

To be fair my Soclean 2 had worked perfectly from day one - until today,,
I heard it start it’s cleaning cycle and thought no more about it until passing the room later on
I noticed the usual leds where not on and the lcd display was off as well,
The unit is totally dead
I ordered this on 28thf sept 2018 and received it on 30th sept 2018 ( brilliant service )
However for an expensive ( £299 ) bit of kit that only runs for 7 minutes a day I would expect it to have lasted much much longer than it has ,
Tomorrow’s job is to contact their customer services, I will update this review when I have their
reply . But for now I can only award one star ,
Fingers crossed for a five star customer services experience ......I will let you know

I have the SoClean 2 for close to 6 months. I believe it works well but am having a problem now. I noticed a brownish color appearing in the tube connected to the mask. Upon looking closer there is a brown substance on the mask where the air exits. I have removed that and cleaned it but not sure I should continue using with this brown stain and build up of something on the mask where the air exits.

I contacted customer service to help me set up my So Clean machine. They walked me through the set up patiently and step by step, as I wanted to make sure I did everything properly. They were extremely helpful, and it’s working perfectly!
Thanks for great service!

I have had my so clean machine for a couple of years now and love it, but now I have trouble with water being sucked into the machine from the water tank, I'm worried about it because it's a lot of water coming out of the machine which is not a good mix with electric plugs and leads so close to the machine, can you please advise what the problem could be, many thanks.

I love it. But just have 1 question.
.Do I continue to change the water in the reservoir in CPAP machine every night since I used Clean 2 machine?

The smell of it and taste in my mouth is horrid. It smells like burning metal, tastes like ashes. I have tried washing the mask or running the CPaP after I use the So Clean, but it still reeks. I get a headache, I gag sometimes, get a mild sore throat, and it definitely bothers my sleep; I can only tolerate it for 5 or 6 hours and then have to get up. The smell haunts me and makes me dread going to bed at night. I'm a senior, and feel taken in. I bought mine from the SoClean company, scraping money together and working part time to get it ; as I believed it would keep my CPAP healthy. I waited awhile to take it out of the box , thinking it was complicated so I doubt that I could get my hard earned $400 back,

My husband bought a Soclean machine and when we first hooked it up it had a bad smell. I thought that it was just from being a new machine. The smell hasn't left and now for the past week I have been getting sick with allergic reaction symptoms but have nothing in my house new. Yesterday my husband didn't use the machine and I was fine. What is the smell and how can I get rid of it? I can't keep having these attacks. Other then the smell and me getting sick every night the machine is wonderful at doing its job. Thank you for your help in this matter

I have had twosoclean this is my second one and it started acting up I've had it a little over a year may 2018 sometimes it stops for unknown reason sometimes is it clock resets itself. I have ordered filters twice but for some unknown reason the electronics that is gets screwed up and it doesn't work and I'm really upset with it I know I'm past my 1 year warranty but after spending almost $300 I you would think I could get it fixed and not have to pay $99

It’s not like commercial put mask in and it does it alone . False advertisement and I’m not happy with all features, I got broken parts and I’m not happy at all I rather buy new hose and mask .

My husband bought his almost 2 years ago, First off the commercial says plug it in and go NOT , you have to disconnect your mask ,fill water in the Resivor pur different cover , unplug unit , head harness has to come off . Once finished cleaning than put it all back together. He says he doesn't feel it really cleans it and if he'd known he'd never spent the money.

Noticed my filter was about to go out- sent an email this morning- received a response this afternoon- called the number I was provided and Ms.Sandy was EXCELLENT. She was a great help in getting me my replacement filter. 5 Stars for SoClean and 10 STARS for Ms.Sandy

Thanks...the sales person made up my mind for me. I called to ask questions and she pressed me to commit to purchase. When I mentioned I would like to do a little more research on the purchase, she hung up on me. Fortunately, I did not commit with payment.

I purchased the Soclean2 last weekend and today, September 14th connect it to my Cpap. I had to remove a hose to the adapter supplied and reattach a shorter hose. I followed the instructions, watched the videos and placed my mask and hose in unit and closed the lid. Programmed the clock and performed a manual cleaning for 10 minutes. As it started I could smell the ozone immediately and noticed the lid was not sealed when closed. There was a gap on the side where the hose was fed through. I turned it off. Opened the window and tried adjusting the hose so that the lid would close tightly. Again, it would not seal tightly.
Here is what your FAQ stated:
5. Why do I smell ozone while the SoClean is running?
Please make sure the SoClean lid is shut securely and that your CPAP cleaner and sanitizer is connected to the SoClean securely. Some ozone molecules may escape into the air, but they will be so dispersed in the volume of air in the room, and will not pose a hazard.
They will cause a hazard if the lid is NOT securely closed!
I plan on returning it and hopefully they will pay for the shipping since their unit is defective. Other reason why I am returning the product, their customer center for support is closed on Saturdays, yet their sales center is open. That is poor customer service and the product is defective!

Bought a So Clean thinking it would be answer to my prayers of the constant cleaning of my cpap machine. Within 48 hours of using the So Clean my NIGHTMARE began. Beyond the awful ozone smell, I woke up with an itchy tongue. Weird, right? Day 2 of using, I woke up with itchy tongue, and burning swollen lips. There's something in it I'm highly allergic to and I'm not allergic to anything except penicillin. This machine is going back. It's making me sick.

I am on my 3rd SoClean in less than 10 years. That's almost $1,000 invested. Unfortunately, the warranty ends in 2 years. And I get about 3 years of usage.
The problem is in the machine and not the tubing. It just stops producing OZONE. For a machine that is used 10 minutes/day, it sure is costly to keep replacing.
Is there a place where these can be repaired? Should be able to last a lot longer than it does. When it works, it's great. But the machine doesn't seem to have much of a lifetime. I am very disappointed.
