My cat LOVES the fresh food so much that I ran out prior to the next delivery date and wasn’t able to get an earlier delivery. The only option to change delivery is later than the scheduled date. I’m still trying to calculate how much food I’ll need for the month so would like the option for an earlier delivery.
I’m also very impressed that you use dissolvable insulation in the box. It works great and is so eco-friendly. I’ve encouraged my human food delivery service to use it.

I received wonderful customer service. My 1st package had 2 delays; which caused the dry ice to become non-efficient. My food arrived hot when I finally received it. I contacted customer service immediately and they were able to prepare a new package for my cat, Oliver, free of charge. It arrived cold and ready to defrost. My cat LOVES it! I can't thank you all enough!

Smalls has been great. Really responsive customer service, I can adjust each order before it’s shipped, and it’s such clearly high quality food. And most importantly? My kitty LOVES it. She’s energetic and happy, and her coat is soft and silky. Her breath smells good, and even her litter box isn’t super stinky.

I love Smalls food for my kitty. It’s hard to find cat food that isn’t loaded with fish. My kitty gets delicious and nutritious food she likes.

The food is good quality and my cat likes it but when I wanted to cancel cause my order kept getting pushed back when it was arriving and I got a notice it would be another week before they were able to ship it I asked for it to be canceled and for a refund all sudden it had already been ship and would be there tomorrow when the just told me they couldn’t ship my order till next week I still haven’t gotten it to the point now it’s almost been a month, honestly just make ur own food cheaper and less of a hassle and my cat likes it more
Btw they are marking Up the cost by 100% if not more also the worst website ever looks cute but incredibly hard to use

My cats are like little fiends as I get their bowls prepped with Smalls's fresh raw food - they love it! They didn't love the freeze dried raw food or treats, but you can't win them all I suppose.
If I had one complaint, it's just that it's hard to open the raw food packages. There are little peel apart corners but they do absolutely nothing so I have to cut them open with a knife.

My kittens, Raven and Ebony, are what Jackson Galaxy calls "Raw Cats" (My Cat From Hell). I knew a raw food diet would be best for them and I also wanted to ensure a healthy weight and appropriate food without fillers and preservatives. At first, they were slow to adopt, but I remembered reading somewhere to warm up (or at least bring to room temp) wet food for picky eaters... WOW! My kittens LOVE their new food and practically beat me up trying to get me to feed them faster. Your food is amazing and I know it is very healthy (frankly, it smells good enough to spread on a sandwich for myself!). Thank you and thank you!

Customer service has been great. The only thing I did not like was that I was encouraged to buy toys. I had already discussed how to reduce the food expenses then being asked to buy toys seemed a bit tasteless. But customer service has been excellent in adapting and meeting my requests and responding back quickly. I can’t ask for a better customer service. I think it would be nice if my shipment details allowed the flexibility for me to add or remove items. I did not have kibble in my shipment and I had to ask customer service to add that for me.

Decided to check my spam one day, and realized I had an email from Smalls- specifically about the follow up order from the free trial. I was honestly about to ignore it, but soon came to realize that I was being charged 138 dollars of cat food- for one cat! I can NOT afford that, and went to cancel it immediately. Except- the log in button is completely broken and claims its "under beta" yet every other link on the site works. Sketchy. Would not work on my phone either, but eventually used my history to pull up the first time I visited my account. Poked around for a bit, tried to find a way to cancel my order... nothing. Oh, but I can delay it. That's the only option they give you.
I probably would have come back later and retried the subscription if the cancellation wasn't such a hassle. (Actually, its not even a hassle... its literally nonexistent)
Eventually I just pulled everything from my upcoming order and took out my billing info.
0/10 would not recommend a company that is not upfront. Censoring your customers just to keep business is such a low blow, dude. No respect.

I really wish the trial pack had each flavor in smaller packets, I started with the beef pate and my cats really aren't liking it, but I don't want to waste it in case they come around later. But since there's only one resealable container and the food packs are such an odd size and shape, it makes it very hard for them to taste test all 4 flavors sent to determine what should be in the next order (if any).
They do seem to like the kibble, so that's good.

My husband and I really wanted to try a more natural food option for our two cats. An ad for Smalls appeared on my Facebook so I gave it a click. We got a trial pack and my cats loved it. It didn't take any convincing. I think they prefer the ground over the smooth, but they still eat it all. I like how easy the website was to use and I appreciate the packaging that dissolves in water. We will continue to order from Smalls!

Smalls service is so convenient, it ships fast, the food is so fresh and my kitten loves it!! They have so many options to choose from to customize it. I feel so much better feeding my kitten with food that is so fresh and natural rather than the store brand food I was using.

Excellent customer service. Quickly responded to all of my needs and questions. Got two different plans for two different cats. One loves it, one hates it. I will be buying for the cat who loves it. Thank you cat concierge!

My cat loves Smalls, and the food has been fresh and chilled on arrival, even after it was accidentally left on the porch for a night.

I wanted this to work out, but two things make me unsure I'll be able to continue with the service. My cat wasn't very excited about the wet food, even though it looks like nice quality and I added some of the liquid gold to entice her. When I tried to change my order to remove the wet food and see if there might be more flexibility with the shipping date for the dry food, the customer service person apologized and offered to add some freeze dried giblets to my order. I assumed this was an offer to add them for free, but when the order shipped I saw that I had actually been charged and that it was in fact an "up selling" maneuver. I should have asked and clarified since they never said it was free, but I am noting my experience here so that no one else discovers that they've been charged for something they assumed was being offered as a part of an apology for something else. The food is good quality but expensive, so make sure you're getting what you really want.

The food that Smalls makes is extremely high quality. I immediately noticed an improvement in my cats' coats, energy and litter box. Not to mention customer service was extremely helpful in creating my personalized order for my cats.
I will say, the packaging for the wet foot does not open as designed and it is a bit frustrating considering you pay a premium for the food. A simple redesign of the wet food packaging to be resealable would bring my review from a 4 to a 5.
UPDATE: They have mixed up the packaging so some comes in tubes like a sausage. This is a little easier to portion but I hate having to dirty a cutting board and serrated knife every time I feed my cats. I would challenge them to keep looking for easier-to-use packaging. There has to be something better!

While it took a while for my cat to adjust to the new freeze dried food, she has ended up loving it. Of course she goes nuts for the mince and pate. That was a given. Right now she eats a combination of either freeze dried or simply cooked kibble in the morning and then pate/mince at lunch and dinner time. It's the right amount of calories for her and I feel comfortable with the nutrition.

staff is super helpful and friendly, making it easy to get my Smalls delivery. Kitty finally is eating her Smalls and I feel so much better about feeding her this healthy alternative! It took a little coaxing and mixing to get her to enjoy but her breath is better and I am sure this will affect her positively over the long-term

I decided to try out Smalls to see if I could keep my cat at a healthy weight, as she's been slowly gaining lbs lately. There are lots of healthy food options in the stores, but I particularly liked the minimal amount of ingredients that go in to the wet and dry foods with Smalls. Below are my ratings after about a month's use of Smalls.
Taste: 5/5 - My cat doesn't normally like dry food but she absolutely loves the freeze-dried turkey and chicken. The wet food she will gobble down in one sitting.
Quality: 5/5 - The food looks to be good ingredients with meat being the main ingredients with a good amount of protein per serving. After about a month, I can tell my cat's fur is softer.
Packaging: 4/5 - I love how the insulation packing is biodegradable (minus the plastic sleeves). I ordered the trial first which came with a convenient storage container that has the measurement tick marks for the wet food (1 tick = 50 calories). Each wet food package is about 11 ticks I believe...maybe 12. The wet food packaging was challenging to open. It doesn't peel open - I have to use scissors to open it which is frustrating.
Litter: 5/5 - I highly recommend the millet litter! I was tired of breathing in clay cat litter every time I emptied the litter box. Not only is clay litter unhealthy to breathe in for me and my cat, but it's also terrible for the environment from mining. Also, the millet litter actually absorbs and clumps my cat's urine. Not something I expected to be excited about but I really am! I could never find a litter that actually clumped her urine so I would always have to use a shovel to clean her litter. Now a scoop works the way it should when I empty her box.
Guidance/Instructions: 3/5 - There wasn't really any instructions on how much to feed my cat until after I ordered the trial. I was kind of at the mercy of the trial to see how much I would need to order for my cat after the trial was over. I was particularly interested in putting my cat on a diet for a healthy weight. I did research to determine how many calories my cat should consume daily to maintain a healthy weight. The day I received my trial, Smalls sent me an email with calories per portion for both the dry and wet food. This was extremely helpful but I wish it was available on their website for me to access before I ordered, and if it already is on their website, then easier to find. Perhaps they could post a blog on their website regarding diets and portion control for healthy weights.
Price: 3/5 - The price is a lot. I nearly doubled the $ amount I spend on my cat a month by switching her to Smalls, and I thought I spoiled her with food quality prior. Even though it's pricey, I would say it's worth it. My cat LOVES the food, I can better regulate her diet because of less additives and fillers, and the millet litter works amazingly. Overall, I would recommend if you're ok spoiling your cat with quality food! (and want the best litter ever...)
