Great prices and excellent service. My items arrived quickly but I realised the sizing was wrong. I emailed them and got a very quick, friendly and helpful reply, despite it being a weekend. The return was simple and cheap and my new order in a larger size also arrived quickly.
All in all, a faultless service and I’ll be happy to ship with them again.

Purchased items from Simply Scuba, 2 items where not suitable and a dry suit needed exchanged. I returned the items and phoned to find out if the larger size of the dry suit was been sent and if a refund had been organised for the items not required. After waiting 10 mins or so to get through to the correct person, I was advised they can't do exchanges and only do refunds. Which in this day and age is very unusual. So I asked when I'd get a refund and was advised that due to staff shortages a refund would not be done for 14 days. When I complained about this the lady on the end of the phone said " anything else" then silence. I'd recommend using a retailer with better service. I certainly will not be back and as a matter of principal I am no going to return the balance of the order.

Unfortunately I have found the company unresponsive and unhelpful when it comes to helping me to source replacement suction caps for the optical insert in a mask I bought from them. The mask is fine, the optical insert was useful and provided efficiently but I am now left with no option but to buy a new insert simply because the suction caps floated off.

I am going to the Galapagos Islands for a special holiday. I am not a diver and have only snorkeled a few times using borrowed equipment from companies so do not know a lot about equipment. As I am short sited I wanted my own prescription mask but have actually bought by snorkel and other items for my trip. I was advised of this site by the local diving club where I am going to get some snorkelling lessons. Wow I have been so impressed. I think the videos were so clear and showed all the pros and cons of the items. For a beginner like myself that was excellent. wish more shops were able to do this. I have got some of my goods and have just ordered my prescription mask. They will even at a very small cost put the lenses in for me. When I needed to ask a few questions the live chat was also very helpful. I would recommend Simply Scuba to anyone needing diving and snorkeling equipment, Thank you Simply Scuba.

Florence and Sam were fantastic! I’m a Seaman so buying stuff online isn’t easy when I’m away for up to 7-8 months a year. Going to Simply Scuba was just easy! Florence made my problem go away in an instant while Sam sorted the delay out within about 10 minutes. All I can say is that I am impressed and truly grateful at how good the customer service is! I would have rather used a different title, but it pretty much sums it up really.
Inaccurate size guides on their website caused a return of a product, so I had basically paid for a package to circulate the country. They have a no exchange policy so the only way to get the correct product would be to reorder and again pay postage.
No conformation emails were sent to me about postage/tracking or when the refund was finally issued also.
No postage costs were returned to me (In this case I believe it should have been due to the size guide been inaccurate and not my choice been at fault)
All in all poor customer service and would not advise anyone to use there online store unless your sure you know what you want because the whole returns process/policies is a joke...
So like I said in the tile "Crap Service"

My personality is such that I must research and investigate every avenue of possibilities before making a decision. Some might see this leading to paralysis of analysis, but I tend to believe that it is the consumer's duty to make an informed decision based on options and personal interest prior to making a purchase (especially a purchase that will take a big chunk out of your budget, that will be responsible for keeping you alive during your chosen endeavor, or that might impact the environment if you find yourself buying twice or thrice due to poor research). To that end, I think I have watched every video on Simply Scuba's YouTube channel.
It was the Simply Scuba channel that introduced me to the EN250 rating (and all the sub-ratings therein) while I was researching options for my first regulator purchase. I live in the U.S. so it shouldn't be surprising that the standards by which scuba equipment is regulated varies widely when compared to the U.K. Thanks to the video Mark and Shaun have posted, I had narrowed my regulator search down to about three models, and the model at the top of that list was the Apeks MTX-R because I could find documentation that rated it EN250A (which, apparently, means that it is rated for use in cold water and shouldn't free flow if more than one diver were breathing off the first stage during an out-of-air emergency).
My local dive shop here in the U.S. knew nothing about the EN250A rating (which surprises me) and instead suggested a different Apeks model (the XTX50). In many of the Simply Scuba videos, Mark has mentioned that he dives with the XTX50 and does primarily cold-water dives. This simple fact made me confident that the suggested regulator would suit my needs, but I still wanted to know about the difference between the two in regards to the EN250A rating. (I couldn't find online documentation that assured me the XTX50 held to that standard.)
Sam responded in less than 24 hours with an answer. Yes, the XTX50 held the EN250A rating as well as the EN250:2000 rating, which meant that it had undergone more testing than my ideal MTX-R regulator. With this knowledge in hand, I was confident that buying the XTX50 would be the right choice. Sam's response saved me over $300 in buying a regulator that was likely more than I needed.
The point to all of this is simple: what Simply Scuba is doing with their customer service, their product reviews, and their dedication to the scuba industry (through daily news and fun facts) makes them more than just a sales outlet. They are people who really care about the diving community and are willing to help even if you're not buying direct from them. (Though, their customer service makes me lean toward ordering accessories and other products from their website that my local dive shop might not carry.)
Great team over there. I'd recommend them to anyone.

I bought my freediving equipment here, even living in Germany and with the extra shipping costs it was ok.
When I returned one item I had to figure out that returning stuff is quite expensive in terms of shipping costs so I would not recoment that. However this has nothing to do with the shop itself.
Now after my first dive with my new wetsuite I noticed that the neopren was torn in some places. So I contacted the support and the pants where returned in no time. Also the shipping cost for returning the faulty item where refunded which was quite nice.
So I recommend this shop if you know that the items fits you or you are living in UK otherwise its kind of a risk.

Simply Scuba were offering a great deal on a Mares Pure SLS BCD. I ordered the BCD and it arrived promptly with frequent delivery updates. After receiving the BCD I contacted the Support Team at Simply Scuba to discuss a few issues that I wanted to bring to their attention. Without any hesitation whatsoever, I was asked to return the BCD with a postage-paid label that I had received by email. The replacement BCD arrived less than 24 hours later. I could not be more delighted. I have shopped with Simply Scuba before and their level of customer service never fails to amaze me. My motto here is 'If you shop with the best, you can forget the rest'.
