I have always bought from Zappo in the past ,but they didn't have my size,so I decided to try this company. The shoes did not fit well so I send them back for refund after only wearing for 1 hour around the house. They send them back to me said there was dirt on soles and they had been worn,of course they were worn that's how I knew they didn't fit.Terrible customer service and return policy.Dave Swanson inOklahoma

good selection of shoes...good pricing with coupons....that doesn't matter though when you are stuck with shoes that don't fit.
A few years ago I swore I would never order from Shoes.com again. About a year ago I started receiving postcard after postcard from Shoes.com offering 30% off. I finally gave in and ordered 4 pair of shoes. 2 pair fit, 1 pair was too narrow, 1 pair was too wide even though they were the same size. These four pair with the 30% off totaled close to $300. I immediately tried to start the exchange/return process. My order was not listed on my account history. Finally after several calls the order was listed but I was not able to click on the shoes I wanted to exchange. The status column however indicated that the return request was made 5/16/2019. Ten days after the order was placed. Several more calls were made and I was placed on hold every time while they attempted to get IT involved. No one ever got back on the line nor returned the call. After a period of hospitalization and settling back in at home I was once again trying to get these shoes exchanged. Since phone calls didn't produce any success, I decided to try emails.
One day out of the blue, I got an email asking me to review my experience with "Claudio" at Shoes.com. I had never had any emails nor phone calls from "Claudio". I gave a poor review being that no one had ever contacted me. Again no more hearing from Shoes.com until I started writing more emails (at least I had documentation when I sent an email). After weeks and weeks of trying to get two return shipping labels, I received an email from "Chris" stating the shipping labels are available for only 90 days after ordering.... THE STATUS COLUMN ON MT ACCOUNT STATED THE RETURN REQUEST WAS STARTED ON 5/16/2019....THAT WAS ONLY 10 DAYS AFTER ORDERING...THEY NEVER GAVE ME ACCESS TO PRINTING THESE LABELS. "Chris" again replied to my emails by saying he would refer my issues to the customer service manager.
Days later I got another email from "Steve Smith, Customer Service Manager" saying since I didn't request a label until 90 days after ordering they weren't sending one. MY ACCOUNT HISTORY SHOWED I REQUESTED LABELS 10 DAYS AFTER ORDERING THE SHOES. I SPENT HOURS JUST THE FIRST TWO WEEKS TRYING TO GET LABELS. I WAS TOTALLY IGNORED THE FIRST THREE MONTHS. I am out about $150 for two pair of shoes that I can't wear. I will never fall again for Shoes.com marketing promotions. I wish I would have looked at the reviews again to refresh my memory of the unethical company they are.

I purchased the "Lace-up Hook&Loop Open Toe Woman Sandals" from Popyavy.com which were advertised on Facebook. It took over a month to receive the shoes from China. The shoes are cheaply made, with terrible hardware which will probably rust over time and the leather straps are very thin. The velco fasteners are white in color so it the strap doesn't fit you perfectly, the white velcro shows while you wear the shoes. You need very thin ankles or the leather band won't fit. It isn't long enough. Also, the shoes arrived in a thin plastic bag without any padding so don't expect a shoe box. These are just cheap, poorly-made shoes. I wasted my money on them and hope you don't make the same mistake.
I just looked at their website and they are charging $2.00 more than I paid. I rarely buy new shoes and so I am greatly disappointed in this purchase.

I was looking at buying a pair of shoes, filled out my info, then proceded to look for shipping details (cost, length of time). I never confirmed the order or authorized the payment, but next thing I know, I got an email thanking me for my order! I immediately sent back a reply email that I didn't authorize the transaction. This was on July 30, 2019. After a few days (August 2, 2019), I received a form letter from them saying please give them a chance, that my support is important to their business. So I KNOW they received my correspondence, but didn't cancel the order. These emails went back and forth almost daily, with no real acknowledgement of my requst to return my money, which was taken out of my account on August 1, 2019. On August 12, 2019, I got an email saying my order (#5298) had shipped. Again, I sent an email requesting a refund. On August 13, 2019, they replied that since parcel had shipped, they could not change for me now, hope I could understand. Well I CAN NOT understand!!! They corresponded with me for 2 weeks prior to shipping. I would like my money returned to me. Now that the shoes have finally arrived, they are so defectivly made that I can't even get my foot in. Horrible customer service.
I have been a long time customer with no problems UNTIL I tried to return a pair of shoes. It was the first time in years that I was disappointed in the way the shoes looked upon receipt. So I went to return them and saw I would pay a restocking fee if returned or I could exchange for full credit. So I exchanged, but purchased a more expensive pair, so I paid the difference. I then sent back the shoes I did not like using their label. Two weeks later the shoes I had returned were resent back to me with a note that the box was damaged so they would not accept the shoes. I wrote to them and got a snarky response from Samuel saying the box was damaged and they can't resell. No apology, no courtesy.
6 of my family members used to shop from them too. NO MORE!!!

Found shoes.com via a price-based internet search and bought some boots for $55, my order was immediately confirmed. Two days later I check my shipping status only to find the order had been cancelled, I also notice that the boots are still available on their site, but now cost $232.
The Customer service person said that my size/color was out of stock, but their system doesn't know that for 24 hours, which is why they cancelled my order. That's not only a bad stock system, but a bad policy, although I happily suggested that they could send me the same boots -just in a ½ size larger. But they say the only way to do that is for me to re-order, at the new price of $232, because that's their company policy.
Obviously it starts feeling like I'm dealing with some kind of seriously disreputable company.
We go around in circles and I ask for a supervisor. I'm eventually offered 40% off the $232 new cost, which would still be still two and a half times more than I originally paid(!) I'm struggling to illustrate to them how that's not the right way to treat a customer. And even though I still have the pair on my uncompleted order page for $55, they can't wrap their heads around the fact that they should honor their original price.
So in summary, their stock checking system is broken, but they think the customer should suffer as a result. Surprising stuff considering any other company would simply honor the initial sale price.
In the end I was told that somebody from upper management would call to try and resolve this, but nobody has. Obviously this isn't of any interest at all to the 'management' running this company, you can only assume that customers are nothing more than a source of irritation when they expect fair treatment.
So I don't know who is creating these company policies, but they're clearly in the wrong job, because customer service is about fixing problems in a way that's fair to both the customer and the company, not just the company. I'm left feeling like I got totally ripped off and can only move forwards warning other people about shoes.com

I didn't read the Trustpilot reviews about Shoes.com until AFTER I'd placed my first order. I was a bit concerned, but since I'd had good experiences with other sellers who'd gotten negative Trustpilot reviews, I hoped for the best. And that's exactly what I got.
I just received my first order from Shoes.com, which came well-packaged and exactly as I ordered. Fast delivery, i.e. 6 days from order to on my feet.
My interaction with Shoes.com was good. I cancelled my original order by phone, which was accomplished quickly, and I received an order cancellation email a few minutes later. I then immediately placed another order. Also had questions, which were answered by a Shoes.com rep by return email within two hours.
If all you're ordering is a pair of shoes and no issues arise, then most of these online stores provide competent service. Issue resolution is, of course, a completely different matter.
Since I got what I ordered in perfect order/condition and in what I consider fast delivery (many online sellers such as Amazon take weeks to deliver), I would not hesitate to recommend Shoes.com to potential buyers.

I have been buying shoes here for a long time. This time I bought a pair of dress boots and they did not fit. I never got my foot inside the boot and put them back in the box. I sent the original shoe box.. Tapped shut.I got a letter back saying they cannot take shoes back because the weren't put inside another shipping box. The notice also said that the shoes were "skuffed*. There wasn't a single skuff mark anywhere.... I never even go the shoe on! I will be taking my business to Zappos from now on!

They sent my shoes to my billing address, NOT my shipping address. My shoes went to another person's home and sat in the yard and in the rain. I did get my shoes, HOWEVER, one of the shoe boxes had NO shoes in it!!! I did just call them and after an annoying 20 minutes on the phone, was told that they are doing an "investigation" and it may take up to 10 days - okay, that is understandable - annoying and a waste of my time - but, understandable. I received NO apologies and was made to feel as though I did something wrong - what a joke! The other 3 pairs that I did receive do not fit - and even hurt my feet - so I will be returning. There is a $6.95 fee PER PAIR for "restocking". Again, what a joke!!! Per pair is ridiculous AND, after the companies' mistakes they should be waiving those fees!!!

I wear a true 7 in heels. I received a size 7 but were unfortunately too big on the heel which I discovered the first and only time I wore them. I was told I could not exchange for a smaller size (this is their policy). I was ok with their policy- except for the customer service rep was so rude and asked me why I didn't walk around my house first?... And.. if I was at a store I would have purchased them without walking around...
UMMMMMM Nooooo...Leather shoes fit differently for different sizes and you don't get a good feel unless you "wear them". I would have been ok with a solid "im sorry ma'am thats not our policy" but the rudeness sent me over the edge.

After attempting multiple times to receive a return label for shoes that were the wrong size I was informed by their customer service agent that I bought them they were “my problem now” and that I would just have to deal with it I attempted to ask for a manager and I was hung up on he refused to give me his name I even managed to get a return label at one point and sent them back they then returned them back to me stating that I was in eligible for return because I was “rude”. I have already spoken to my bank and am disputing the charges and I have filed a complaint with both the better business bureau and the WV attorney general

I received an email from Shoes.com with a code for 35% off. When I went to check out, the discount wouldn’t reflect in the price. I looked for a list of excluded brands but couldn’t find one. I called shoes.com and was told that there is no list and the only way to know is to place the items in your cart and if the discount doesn’t show, the the item chosen is excluded. This seems deceptive since shoes.com can just randomly select to exclude an item once it’s clear you are interested since you have placed it in your cart. Never bought from shoes.com in the past and never will based on this practice and also the other reviews here.

I read the reviews after I ordered. I was frightened. But I have to tell you, I ordered 2 pairs of fitflops. I got a confirmation email, I got shipment notifications, and a welcome to their site. The shoes arrived on their time and were exactly as i ordered

Very concerned having read these reviews. I have been trying to link in with the DHL returns page they link to as boots not right fit for my relation and need a refund so she can purchase elsewhere. Only reason we went to this company is that they promise refunds if shoes are not the right fit. Have emailed them with no response. Also concerned as they are using Amazon for payment.
I have asked that this review is sent to the company and ask that they sort it out.

I purchased a pair of Women’s Comfy Soft Sole Sandal’s. After receiving the sandals I contacted Lamodeway and informed them that I wanted to return the shoes. I decided to return the shoes because the quality was inferior to what was pictured on their website. In particular, the soles of the shoes were much thinner than what was pictured. I was informed that the shoes would need to be returned to Guangzhou, China at my expense, which would include shipping charges as well as applicable customs duties, fees and taxes. I was offered a 15% cash refund instead of returning the shoes. I informed Lamodeway that I did not believe returning my shoes to China was reasonable. They changed their offer to a 25% cash refund. I printed their shipping label, packed the shoes and took them to the post office. The minimum shipping charge was $23.50. The shoes cost $36.06. I informed Lamodeway that I would not be returning the shoes and asked for more compensation than a 25% cash refund. They did not reply to my request. After many days I informed Lamodeway that, since I had not heard from them, I did not believe I had any other option than to accept their offer of 25% cash refund. Lamodeway has not responded and I have not received a refund of any amount.

Horrible experience with getting the wrong pair of shoes. They don’t offer exchanges or fix your problem. You have to return the shoes, get a refund, and then buy another pair of shoes. I’d wait weeks to get a pair of shoes! How crazy is that?
