I have been shopping here for years and I have always been happy. Until now......customer service is horrendous and the company as a whole is criminal. I purchased five pairs of shoes online. I purchased them online because the local stores did not carry my size. I took one pair back to the store (which is an acceptable return option according to their policy). I did not notice at the time but, the store did not return at the correct tax rate. I purchased the shoes at 9% tax. When I returned them, they gave me back 4%. When I called customer service, I was told there was nothing they could do. THEY ARE CHEATING THEIR CUSTOMERS OUT OF MONEY. It is not a lot of money but, it is the principal; they are stealing money. THE OTHER SHOES FROM THIS ORDER WILL BE RETURNED. I REFUSE TO GIVE THEM ANYMORE OF MY MONEY. AND I WILL NEVER SHOP AT SHOE CARNIVAL AGAIN.

Beware!! I placed a 330.00 order with them and with no knowledge of a hold that they put on your account it is a total of 660.00 that comes out of your account. Yes, the hold gets reversed in 3-5 business days, but who has that kind of money up front for them to practice their business like this?? It’s garbage!
Therefore I am now having to deal with overdraft fees from my bank and there is nothing I can do.
Not worth the hassle of all the money you have to have upfront to purchase some shoes. SHOP ELSEWHERE!!

Doing some online comparison shopping this morning. Found a pair of Nike shoes listed at Shoe Carnival for $39.99 which was $10 cheaper than the original store I looked at. GREAT! So I go to the website and verify the price before creating an account so I can order and start collecting points. I place the shoes in my cart and suddenly they are $49.99. Um...huh? (I go back to Google and they're still listed for $39.99, but the price remains $49.99 in my cart.) Not only are the shoes $10 more expensive after creating an account, but the website tries to charge me nearly $4 tax! I live in Anchorage, Alaska. We have no sales tax here. Bye Shoe Carnival - its over before it even started.

Good brands at good prices but holy lack of customer service. I ordered never got a confirmation email 5 days later my order was cancelled called customer service everyone I talked to was rude I kept getting transferred finally one girl said my order was cancelled because my billing email address was wrong? Billing email address? Seriously? So stupid. Re ordered paid for fast shipping because I needed the shoes ASAP and had already wasted 5 days with the mysteriously cancelled order. That was 2 weeks ago tracking number says it will be here Monday. Glad I paid extra for 3 week shipping. App sucks not well designed at all. My account was also charged 4 times. A hold and a charge for 2 orders. What a s*** show never again

Absolutely horrible! I would never make another purchase from this company online or in store. I made an online purchase that took a week to receive, then the shoes were not what I expected at all, and they are giving me super hell about getting my refund back! They originally say within 2-3 days for it to be processed after that time frame I still haven’t received my refund and now they are telling me 10 business days! I am not understanding why this company has such a long turn around time but they suck! And customer service is a joke! They can’t tell you anything at all just that it’s still being processed. Why does it take so long to process a return? When I originally made the purchase they took the money immediately and I didn’t hear anything about my purchase for 4 days after it was originally made then my delivery date was for an additional 4 days out! Like wow!!! Never again will I make a purchase from them! On top of that, their shoes are slightly irregular which explains the great prices. Save your time and money!

Order online the problem was the address was wrong had customer service fix it, since i had only just ordered, but yet it still got sent to the wrong address with no refund because the address was on my part, make no sense how do you tell me the address was fixed then it still gets sent to the wrong address, never again spend my money here again.

I bought a pair of sandals online and loved them, but the toe strap broke after only having them for 6 weeks and wearing them occasionally. I emailed customer service w/a picture. Many, many emails back and forth later with no resolution, I tried calling customer service. I have been on hold for 16 minutes and counting. Poor craftsmanship and bad customer service. No wonder they are having to close so many stores! The last remaining stores are sure to follow.

Horrible! Day of expected delivery, tracked my order just to see it was returned due to ‘incorrect address.’ Was told to reorder and pay and once product returned to warehouse i will be refunded. So my card will be charged twice. Was told by 2 people not to order online from them and i should have listened. Never ordering from them again!

I got some Kyrie Flytraps (green) and they came in perfect condition and were pretty cheap for such a high demanded basketball shoe. My jumpshot is much better now

I've been purchasing the same New Balance shoe for work for over eight years. Shoe Carnival was completely out of them due to the arrival of New Balance's latest version of the same shoe. The new version of the shoe was very narrow compared to the last version and of cheaper quality. I wrote a review regarding the new version next to other reviews regarding that particular shoe on Shoe Carnival's site. They never posted my review. Beware Shoe Carnival uses deceptive practices and doesn't really care about their customers purchasing a shoe from them that performed very poorly and couldn't be worn.

I ordered my daughter sneakers on December 7th. Shoe Carnival sent me a confirmation stating they would be delivered between the 18th-24th. I called on the 24th to only hear that they cancelled my order saying it was out of stock. Shoe Carnival NEVER sent me an email indicating that information. In fact, if I would've called their intentions were not to refund me. What company cancels your order without notifying you?Representatives that I spoke to were very unprofessional. I asked her when will I get refunded? She says she didn't know. I won't ever purchase anything else from Shoe Carnival. Totally unprofessional company.
