Horribly long wait for customer service to pick up the phone re. an order. Order supposed to be delivered on one day and never arrived.supposedly FED E X was backed up. Now it will be another 3 to 5 business days. Will never order from this company again

ordered a pair of heated insoles from sharper images website, they did not work. Obviously I had to open the package to find that they did not work but because they were deemed a "personal item" and now the package had been opened they were Not returnable. This is not the sharper image of old.

I ordered a gift for my grandson's bithday on January 3, 2020 - his birthday one week later. I recieved an email 2 days before his birthday saying my order had been cancelled. No reason why or number to call for customer service. email address only for questions regarding this abrupt cancellation. Thank God for Amazon or my grandson would not have had his gift from me on time. Needless to say, I will not be giving them any more of my business. This is totally unacceptable - don't use this company if you have important gift needs

I arrived to work on time to have a overweight ignorant powertripped white man meet me at the door when I arrived there after driving a hour to work on time just to take my badge. The work hours are from 9am to 8pm 4 days a week and 5 hours on the weekend. I am happy to be away from this slavery shift and uncomfortable as well as micromanaged environment. Would not recommend my dog working here!

Great catalog to get your interest, after that it goes to H_ _ _. Free shipping, except on your return and you want your money back, then they charge for return shipping (Have they ever heard of Amazon, who's kicking their b _ _ _.) . Next one of their SCAMS earned credit and a gift card, but as previously reported by Carl M, they cant be used together, but you get them at the same time, Kohl's lets you use up 4 items when ordering there. Having their e-mail promotions to be automatically sent to my junk folder.
May keep there catalog for ideas, then go to Amazon to order, sometimes for the same item , but sometimes Amazon has a better quality item and after checking, Amazon usually has better prices for similar items. A shame that this company works this way.

After looking on their website they appear slightly expensive, but the incentives appear to help[ with costs that might be higher than normal. What is not apparent is that the company policy is that you can only use one incentive or the other. For example, they offer free shipping over a certain amount and they give you back 20% in credit of your purchase and they included a free $25 gift card with your purchase. The insulting thing is that Sharper Image's policy is that they do not accept multiple forms of discounts although they entice you by offering cash back (credit towards next purchases), gift cards for free, and free shipping. The thing that is not obvious is that you can not combine offers together in one purchase. Such as free shipping and using cash back or free shipping and the gift card they offer you with your purchase. I have not received my shipment so I can not comment on the purchase as of yet. I can only say that I was disappointed with the shipping charges (when every other retailer are offering free shipping with discounts) and I was disappointed to with not being able to combine discounts with free shipping. I am surprised at Sharper Image charging a higher fee for products and not honoring the discounts that they offer when combined with other offers. BEWARE as you shop on their site.

Sharper Image is driving me crazy by sending me emails advertising their products almost daily. I have tried to unsubscribe by all means but they keep flooding my computers with their emails. I have warned them I was seriously considering suing them so they stopped for a couple of days. Then they continued sending emails. I told them I couldn’t buy their products since they only sell domestic US, but they keep sending emails. Nowadays, I wouldn’t buy a Sharper Image product nor even if they sold worldwide because of their aggressive email policy.

Just purchased battery powered gloves for my wife. We walk everyday in all kinds of Iweather. She has renauds disease and her hands are usually blocks of ice. NOT ANYMORE.....I cannot say enough about this product. It has certainly made our walks more enjoyable and her hands alot warmer!

What a shock! This was once a great company!.. I asked where the
pillow was made BEFORE I ordered it and was told in the the US.
Great, I thought... BUT.... it was MADE IN CHINA.... after returning
it I had to hassle them to get a full refund, they tried saying it was
'Buyers Remorse", but it was MISREPRESENTATION, and they
finally admitted it...... sad experience! They were never rude, all
the people I spoke to on the phone tried really hard to make it right
and finally a supervisor agreed to do the right thing.

Sharper Image has in giant bold letters across the website that the shipping was free with a purchase over $99. Lie. My purchase came to over $200 and I paid for shipping. When I contacted them, it took them 13 days to send me a blank response. They literally had nothing to say in the email. It was blank. Never doing business with this company again.

Customer Service is terrible! I heard a recording of Stephanie for 3 days 45 times since I've received a broken Smartphone Printer with additional paper & cartridges over $225.00 gift card too! It was sent as a Christmas gift. I would like a working one or a credit but it seems impossible. Vendors out there: Don't send clients sharper image Gifts!

I ordered a product from them because the link said no sales tax. On the initial check out screen it did not show sales tax. On the final it showed it. I assumed, my mistake, that it would be taken off when processed. Some on line companies do this. Order was processed and immediate receipt provided. Now I see sales tax. I placed the order around 9 pm. Couldn't get to Customer service other than email. I emailed indicating the issue. No response. I called first thing in the morning. Rep was pleasant enough but told me they couldn't cancel the order but would try. Then said I should call Fedex to try and stop shipment. Mind you there hadn't been enough time for them to even provide tracking information but somehow they couldn't cancel the order.... i received tracking information that evening. Then received an email from Customer Service in response to my inquiry the night before saying they could not stop the shipment... Really??? Then a survey which I answered honestly. This was a ridiculous experience. Lesson learned. Never again! I will tell anyone who listens.

I recently purchased a set of Ownzone wireless headphones made by Sharper Image. It was a Christmas gift. I gave the headphones to my brother in law and they were faulty. They could not be charged. We tried to get Sharper Image to replace them but was given the run around and re-connected to several customer service people who told us that they could not help with the problem. I bought the headphones through Walmart's marketplace. I contacted Walmart and they replaced the headphones with no charge. I will NEVER purchase anything from Sharper Image again. Beware of this company!

I was happy to see that Sharper Image was reborn and eagerly ordered a Foot Spa Detox system. I couldn't get it to work, so I called them. The product in this case was sold by Sharper Image, but it was not "their" brand. In fact, it was a product that is normally sold to health care professionals for use on their clients. They offered no help, and referred me to the manufacturer. The manufacturer doesn't provide support to those who bought the item for personal use. Without any help, I tried to return the product. Sharper Image classifies this product as a "Personal Care" product, and states that those products are not returnable for any reason. So, I have a broken foot spa, no useable warranty, and no return ability. They should have been left for dead in my opinion, not resurrected.

Ive ordered from Sharper Image twice (a total of three products). I was happy with my orders. However, I was not happy that they subscribed me to Architectural Digest without my permission. I have severe migraines that are triggered by strong odors and newspaper and magazine ink are one of those odors. Ive gone on the web to www.dmachoice.org and opted out of all categories of mail so the only mail I should be getting is bills and other things that I have chosen to receive. I have advised Sharper Image that, since I cannot trust them with my information, I will no longer be purchasing anything from them.

Placed an online order last week of November with Sharper Image online. Immediately needed to cancel it and reached out within 10 minutes of placing the order for assistance. Conveniently did not receive responses to call or email inquiries until the item had "already shipped" and would now have to wait to receive it and return it before refund could be given. Due to numerous technical issues on their end, could not process my own online return label and was told on two different calls that one was being emailed to me for expidited return once it was made clear to them that I needed the money back right away. Never recived the labels. Contacted again, finally was able to print one on my own. In the meantime, when first placed the order there were 3 different financial holds placed on my bank account, one of which was for almost $90 more than my order total. When inquired about these transactions I received no answer at all from company as to where my missing money was. After finally reaching someone about the shipping labels, the hold was released and my money was returned to me so I thought all was well. 3 days later when I finally am able to print my own label after they fixed their glitch in the online return center, the charge for the item suddenly reappeared UNAUTHORIZED AGAIN in my bank account, now causing my account to overdraft. Tried online chat and my issue was escalated to a manager, who called my hours later. Also found out when printing the label that I was to be charged for return shipment, for an item that NEVER SHOULD HAVE BEEN SENT OUT TO BEGIN WITH. Finally spoke to a manager who said I would not be charged shipping, apologized and said she had contacted the financial department and had my funds released and I would see the money credited back to my bank within 2-3 business days. 4 days later, I sent an email that yet again went unreturned. 5 days later, I start an online chat with a Shannon, who danced around the issue, told me my money was released today after she looked into it, and yet again it would be 2-3 days and then I would see a credit. I asked numerous times during the chat for an explanation as to why I was lied to last week and told I would have the money back in 2-3 days then, which she literally just did not answer and told me they had done nothing wrong and I was not lied to. I asked repeatedly for an answer about why I had received nothing but misinformation, lies, and bad customer service (when I received any at all), and she again NEVER answered a single question I asked, through the customer return policy at me (which really infuriated me), blamed the situation on me, and provided me with no solution. Because they charged my account, unauthorized by me, several times and did not credit me the money back when they said they would, not only did I end up over-drafting, but now literally cannot pay a bill that was due last week because they did not follow through. They did not offer to rectify this, they did not tell me why I received this kind of service, and then disconnected the chat (essentially hanging up on me), after doing nothing but repeating the same thing over and over again. So as of today, I have an overdraft fee, unexplained charges on my account, a bill I cannot pay, unfulfilled promises, rude customer service, and zero explanations. This is the worst experience I have ever had with a company and for one so large you would think they would care at all about their customers. I work in customer service with C-Level executives for a living, and I rarely ever complain, I am an intelligent and reasonable consumer, and I expect a basic level of customer service: mainly just follow through with what you promise. Sharper Image failed this on every level. Let's hope I actually get my money back in this new promised time frame.

Purchased a product on line as a Christmas present. Received a confirmation email for my order with a note that I would receive an email notification when the item shipped. I didn't receive this notification, and assumed the item was back ordered. I was surprised when my January PayPal statement showed that I had been billed for the item. When I called the store they told me the item had been delivered and signed for. The name on the receipt was not mine, or any member of my household. They told me "too bad" because I didn't contact them within 30 days of their shipment. How could I when I didn't know the item had been shipped I asked? After much push back on my part they agreed to give me a coupon for the purchase price that I could use to order something else. I was to receive the coupon via email within 3 days. 3 days has come and gone (and then some) and I have not received the coupon. I hope PayPal can help me get my refund.

My unfortunate experience with SI started with an absent item. When one of the two items I had ordered did not arrive, I, thinking, well, anybody can make a mistake, and I received a recognition email almost immediately. Then, a day or so later I got another email stating the they would fix this in 1-2 days. Seven days later I called. What a mess that place was. Everyone was harried and I kept getting sent to the wrong place. Called back a few days later, got their commitment to refund my purchase to my CC. Fine. But instead they gave me a $25 gift certificate plus a small credit to my CC. Like I will EVER buy anything from them again

The Sharper Image Gel Memory Foam Pillow - what a pain!! This product is not comfortable at all!
My husband and I bought two of these pillows from our local Sam's Club more than a week ago. At the beginning, and even though they stunk a lot, they seemed to be working fine (at least for my husband). The cooling system was doing its thing, but for some reason the memory foam seemed to be too thick and hard to provide any kind of head and neck comfort. But since we had just bought them, we decided to give them a try...what a mistake!!! After a week of using them, I gradually started getting backaches, and neck aches. But I was not associating any of my aches to the new pillows.
Until last Saturday morning when for no reason at all, I woke up about 4 am feeling extreme pain on my right arm and shoulder as if I had dislocated my clavicle or broken my arm. That's when we finally made the connection between these pillows and the discomfort on the right side of my body. We returned the pillows to Sam's Club that very same day!!!
I spent my Saturday, taking Ibuprofen and wearing Ice & cold patches on my right shoulder and arm, hoping for the muscular pain that I thought I had to go away. But by Sunday morning I could not even lift my right arm up at all (I sleep on my right side), I felt miserable!!! So we rush to the Urgent care for help.
After x-rays, the doctor determined that I had a nerve injury (Radiculitis, branchial) in my neck caused by a external agent (the pillows); that had affected the mobility of my right arm and caused pain from my right shoulder all the way down to my finger tips. $200 later, I was sent home with medication and I was also advised to trash the pillows!!
As for today, Monday, I can move my hand (that's why you are reading this review), but my right arm and shoulder are still in so much pain; thatI am still unable to lift my right arm up and my husband pretty much has been my nurse for the last 3 days!! As I cannot use my right arm at all (and I am right handed), he has been helping me to shower, do my hair, get dress, brush my teeth, etc...THIS IS WHAT I GOT FROM AN ERGONOMIC PILLOW!!!
I reviewed this product on the Sam's Club website, but I still do not think it is enough. The manufacturer need to know about how their product is hurting people! I looked for a way to file a product complaint on the Shaper Image website, but I couldn't find it. So, even though it i difficult for me right now, I am sharing my experience with other customers through this site, so THEY WON'T WASTE THEIR MONEY!!
Two $19.99 Shaper Image Gel Memory Foam Pillows, cost me $200 in medical bills, lot of pain and frustration and about 10 days of treatment (I am on day 3 today). I wish companies would not misrepresent their products. These pillows are DEFINITELY not ergonomic and THEY SHOULD BE DISCONTINUED as all they do is to cause injuries.

I am still buying my massage chairs from sharper image since trying them out in the store over a decade ago. They have the best chairs .... better than brookstone.
