My review is not about customer service but about quality control at See's. On Monday, I shopped at the Southdale See's in Edina, MN. I bought two boxes of the Little Pops (which I love). Some of the wrappers had no candy in them, some of them had two tiny pieces (like ends), sizes seemed random - some shaped the same some not). Most of the pieces did not look like the picture on the box. Its like the assembly line isn't being monitored and/or no QA being done. This may not seem like a big deal but 2 boxes, (32 pieces per box), cost $10 and should include high quality in that price.

My mother is 84 years old and she has loved Sees candy ever since she was a teenager my mother has Alzheimer's but she hasn't lost her taste or smell I love to take her to our favorite Tanasbourne store in Oregon so she can buy her chocolates before she goes back to California we love this store so much because of Vicki W is so kind and caring and so sweet to my mother whenever we go there my mother has such a great time picking out her candy she insisted on taking pictures of her n Vicki next to the candy thank you for hiring Vicki she never once rushed my mother n she made some candy suggestions that my mother hadn't tried before made my mom feel so special n us to of course she was just so awesome my mom had the biggest smile on her face thank you See's for your wonderful chocolates n for your wonderful employee Vicki W.

I went to the Torrance, CA discount store today at 22724 Hawthorne Blvd. I was not happy with customer service on 2 occasions the first visit last Sat, they were sold out of large Easter basket, sales clerk at pre packed line misinformed me, telling me not to call their 800 line that day around 4pm cause they close at 3pm. That was not true, I called in my car in their parking lot and a live person helped me place my order. Today I didnt like how I was treated by asian lady floor sales clerk. I'm filipino, she was looking at me funny when I asked her if they had certain items. She told me laughing all sold out, no apology or sign of kind or friendliness. She did not suggest any replacement items. When I witnessed how she helped a caucasian lady, it was quite different. She apologized her item was sold out but she suggested something else.

Best Candy worst service! It's better to just go into the stores to get your order. I ordered an 11.05 oz box to be delivered for Mother's Day. I just found out it won't even ship until today (day after Mother's Day). I paid $15.98 in freight! When I asked for a refund I was told that I ordered on a Thursday and since they now use "hot weather" packaging, it couldn't ship until Monday. Had I known I wouldn't have place the order.

I was very disappointed and sees candy this time I ordered some stuff from freezer it was just one piece but whoever delivered it looked a mangy and dirty and they threw it at my front door and half the chocolates are broken in it I’ve never had sees candy delivered like that before I’m surprised but I’m gonna think about it before I ever do it again I’m sorry sees I love you but I didn’t appreciate having my stuff just thrown at my front door and nobody let me know they didn’t knock getting ring the doorbell they just swabbed away and I saw this who did dirty old person walking away like they were an interested

The candy is the best, the customer service leaves much to be desired. They take forever to ship. It’s taking two weeks to ship a pound of candy from California to Virginia. Is it being sent via stage coach?

i received a box of the little pops assorted for easter and i saw it had said cafe latte and i was so happy but then i dumped out the box and there was only ONE of them. it’s like a blue jolly rancher... there’s only 2 or 3 in a bag! it’s not that big of a deal anyways because it wasn’t even that good.

I was introduced to See's Candies at a San Francisco wedding reception in 2004. There was a small box at each place setting. I was so impressed by the creams and toffees and caramels. I have ordered online every year since then. A few years ago, See's opened 2 stores here in the Pittsburgh area. Joy! In fact, as I write this review, I have (slowly) devoured 3 milk chocolate buttercreams!

Absolutely the best. I do not order often. I would weigh 500 lbs. if I did. This is the best candy around. I have been eating See's Candy for close to 50 years. You simply can't go wrong with See's.

I cannot say anything but praise for my Sees candy experience. I live in Texas and order the candy online. The candy is wonderful and the shipping was so fast. So happy with the whole experience. I will continue to order candy and enjoy the convenience.

I have been buying See's candies for twelve years and I have never been disappointed with the taste, quality, freshness, or price. In the past, I have eaten many other expensive candies such as Godiva, but no other candies can compare the wonderful delicious flavor of See's. I give out See's candies as Christmas gifts to friends and family, and everyone tells me See's is their favorite candy. For myself, I pick out my favorite candies with a custom box. I absolutely Love See's candies!

I usually order from See's only once a year at Christmas time. I recently placed an order for 3 lb. Custom Mix And 1 lb. box of Chocolate Walnut Fudge. Received the order in a very short time, package in excellent condition. It is difficult to share these candies with anyone, they are so delicious. The first time I was introduced to See's candies was about 8 or more years ago when my son went to California on a business trip and brought back a box for me. They were so delicious, that after that I have placed my own order every Christmas. Being able to choose only the candies you especially like is really great for me, since I'm kind of particular. Absolutely delicious, thank you, thank you, thank you!

We paid for 43 two-pound boxes of Nuts and Chews for various customers and had one box sent to my office manager--who only received a one-pound box of Nuts and Chews. Began polling a few of our customers and found others who only received a one-pound box. Very disappointed!

For the third year in a row, See's customer service department receives an F! This year, I was promised on Thursday, 12/27/18, that the eleven orders I placed as gifts for clients would arrive to my clients by Thursday, 1/3. I specifically waited until after Christmas to place the orders as I wanted my clients to receive the gifts AFTER New Year's.
On 12/28, I received shipping confirmation e-mails for each order, and don't you know UPS scheduled delivery is guaranteed for Monday, 1/7! I called See's the same day I received the shipping confirmation e-mails, and the "supervisor" told me oft times packages do arrive at their destinations prior to the UPS scheduled delivery date. I told the "supervisor" that she needed to make things right, and she told me she would see what she could do. Of course, she never did get back to me.
I have been in business for 20 years, and I have never, EVER seen a package arrive at its destination prior to the UPS scheduled delivery date.
For the third year in a row, See's has embarrassed me. I will be disputing the entire charge with my creditor.
Goodbye See's. What a shame.

I ordered candy for my aunt in another state. After several weeks I contacted Sees via email and they responded that the order was never shipped and, unfortunately, they were out of stock of that product. They did offer a $50 gift card in exchange for my order. My order totaled $51.78!! I asked for a full refund and was informed that the "finance " department would need to call me and confirm the refund. Needless to say, that did not happen. Now, 6 weeks after the original order, I will contact my credit card to dispute the charge. While the people e-mailing (and a phone call) were very pleasant, their process is ridiculous and their customer service is non-existent. By the way, I ordered Godiva chocolate from 1-800-flowers which arrived in a few days and cost less! My elderly aunt loved it!

I ordered two toffee-ettes and one box of custom mix chocolates from the website and received prompt confirmation. My card was charged and so I waited for the shipping details. The order was placed on Sat and on Wed I still received nothing. I sent them an email to follow up, which I received an automated response which says they will come back to me within 2 business days and that never happened. My order status as of now (Fri) is still "processing". I tried calling their hotline but it operates from 9 - 5 business days. Very upset with the service as there is really NO service at all. I paid $22 for shipping and now it's been a week and still I don't know when my order will be despatched.

Since the 1950’s I have eaten See’s Candy. It is the best chocolate and I don’t like to buy any other brand. I was so happy when the company opened a store in Springfield, Missouri. It was in the Battlefield Mall and business was good, The store was unexpectedly closed after Christmas in 2017, after being there for several years. At the present I have to order directly from the company. I am hoping that during the holiday season this year that See’s will set up a booth at the mall. I just received an order with Halloween candy. It was well packed for shipment with reusable ice packs. However the packs had melted, but, the candy was not affected, thank goodness.

See's Candy has a wonderful product, but the absolute worst customer service imaginable! Since discovering See's candy last December, I have placed several orders and spent about $500 in four months time. Unfortunately, there has been an issue with each order. The first order, one of the items was badly damaged during shipping, spilling the candy all over the shipping box. Customer service did not even apologize for the inconvenience and the ONLY option given was a gift card to use on a future order, no offer of a refund for the damaged item. So fine, we took the gift card. Next order, we ordered two custom assorted boxes of candy, each had some of the same varieties, but each also had differences. The small sticker with hand writing that was supposed to clarify which was which was of no help since it only listed two varieties that each box had in common. So, we guessed based on the wrapping paper...and later found out the paper must have been switched since it did not coincide with the order confirmation. Each recipient ended up with the other's box of candy. One of the recipients does not eat marshmallow due to gelatin, so at least part of that box was thrown away and a complete waste of money. What a disappointment to give gifts that are not what someone even likes. I sent customer service an email to make them aware of the issue. I was disappointed to receive a copy and paste response telling me how valued my comments were, etc...and amazed at the lack of concern or any personalized response over the issue. Again, we love Sees candy, so took a chance and placed an Easter order...and have the exact same issue. Two custom assortment boxes and absolutely no way of knowing which is which short of unwrapping them and giving each recipient an open box of candy. Once again, I wasted my time sending an email to customer service and once again, the EXACT SAME copy and paste response. To say I am disappointed would be an understatement.

I was so frustrated by this lack of concern or response from email, I went to See's Facebook page and attempted to post my comments there, hoping for a response from someone who might actually care, since I could not imagine this is acceptable customer service. Instead, I discovered that they monitor their page and only allow positive comments and posts. This explains why all I have ever seen are glowing, positive customer comments on their page. After several days, someone did respond, telling me this would be looked into and they would get back to me...several more days, and no follow up. I replied again and was asked in what seemed a rather hostile tone, to message with the order number, which I did...another couple of days and STILL no response. So, this waste of time on their Facebook page added further insult to an already awful experience! I am done with See's Candy. I refuse to give my hard earned money to a company that doesn't appreciate my business in the least. See's is not cheap by any stretch, which all the more amazes me that they treat their customers so poorly.

Was planning to order unsweetened dark chocolate but notice they won't display total ingredients. Never a good thing. Also notice in one of Q&A they mention couple items use in some of their product and it look like GMO and maybe MSG. Sorry but if I'm wrong show total ingredients.

I recently placed an order to send candy out to a friend who is graduating college. I wanted to personalize it with a greeting so she'd know who this was from. Not only did the order arrive 2 days late, but there was no card, note, greeting, or anything enclosed with the order after I'd specifically requested this be Included. I contacted customer service and they apologized but did not refund my shipping fees.
