I ordered a gas range online. Was told in the confirmation email that they would contact me within 24 hours to schedule delivery. No one contacted me. I called them, they kept me on hold forever. Sounds like they are in another country. They claimed they were trying to contact the local store that would be delivering the range. They could not contact them but would escalate my ticket and someone would call within 24 to 48 hours. No one has called. I now can't even get through to them or the local store. I finally found a way to chat with Sears home services and they cannot find my order. They gave me a new number to call and they can't find my order or phone number either. It's funny they found me long enough to charge my credit card. I have filed a dispute with Visa that will take 30 days to complete before I get $$ back. DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. IT'S A COMPLETE SCAM.

The short version of what happened: It's been 1.5 months since we ordered our washer / dryer and we have the wrong washer / dryer sitting in our garage.
We ordered a washer / dryer. 3 weeks later we notice that the balance was refunded to us. No call, email or any type of notification. We called the store 5 times over the proceeding 3 weeks. They couldn't figure out what to do and promised they would call us back within a day each time. They didn't call us back a single time. Eventually we get them to order us new machines and the wrong ones arrived (and they forgot the hose). I'm sitting here on hold waiting to talk to the next person after being transferred for the sixth time. The last lady I talked to said she couldn't help me because I ordered it in store. I then told her that I ordered it online and she said she couldn't help me because I ordered it online.

Finally after better part of 4 weeks I got a call in which party asked me if I still wanted tool box. I explained about the delay in picking up was due to no one informing me that it had been delivered to store for me to pickup. Shame of it is that Sears in the past had been a great store.

I ordered a kitchen aid gas range with a built in down draft. Was super happy because they had a floor model" for $1000 off regular price-said it may have a few cosmetic dents or whatever and otherwise BRAND NEW. So, I thought I was really getting a deal! That is until it came...The down draft fan and motor BOTH MISSING...which is the only reason I bought this particular range..and without these parts, the range completely unusable. I spent an entire day on the phone with customer service. Worst customer service EVER.
Never experienced worse. Gave them the opportunity to simply over-night me the missing parts, and they will not do that. In fact, they did nothing but give me the complete run around and long story short, they are NOT sending me the parts. BAD SERVICE, sent a incomplete product, won't fix it, so I'm being forced to dispute the $2300 charge with my card company. Trust me, I wish I'd went to the store, paid full price and not had to deal with this craziness.

Order stove top 90+ days ago. No notice, no nothing. They kept money. They said it was a glitch in the system. Now the stovetop is not available. The offered10% discount on new one. Ha! I can see why Sears is bankrupt. They just do not care!

We have bought a fridge and now a washer and dryer set and the customer service is great! Eino, Gabriel and Morgan are awesome and the district manager Steven really went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of when we had an issue with the service department. Sears has always been our families choice for the larger purchases because of the warranties that are offered and the customer service has just made it even better!

We purchased a new refrigerator in Sept and the bottom didn't work.. they gave us the run around on coming out to fix it. 3days b4 the warranty was up, we called and argued til the point of a new refrigerator. He said it will take 3 to 5 days to be shipped to the store.. well we didn't get a call.. we kept calling.. it arrived around the 24 of Oct.. then they said they're backed up on deliveries.. so I talked to a manager and he said bring the old one and get the new one.. I said u guys sold us a bad product and we have to bring and pick up, hell refrigerators are not light weight.. he said if we can bring the refrigerator, when we pick the new one up he will give us a discount, so when we got there they acted like they didn't know what we were talking about.. then he said he couldn't find the order sheet.. I said u gone let me walk out with this new refrigerator without a order sheet, yeah, right.. so then he said let him look further into it so we waited he came back and said he will have to get back to us.. I will never buy anything from no sears or Sears outlet again.. I wonder how they will feel if I cancel my order on my credit card.. this is one of the most worst experience.. I encourage u to not buy anything from there outlet stores.

Called this morning and refrigerator with warranty is being delivered tonight. The sales associate followed through and was kind! Her name is Angela Harris! She is worth the call to get things done right! A true Blessing Sears has been today!

On June 6th I purchased a solar sign for our yard. While it arrived when it should have, it arrived missing a key part. I emailed these people twice but got no response. Now I have a sign that I can't use and had to throw out because without one of the stakes I could not secure it into the ground properly. Waste of money! These people will never get back to you if there's a problem. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!!

I was our first trip to the outlet on the Dallas N Tollway. Jordan was totally attentive to our needs and not distracted by others activities around us. My wife was very focused on getting a quality mattress. He was knowledgeable of the stock and showed us the differences and the values of your higher priced mattress. He was very courteous and seemed to earnestly care about satisfying our needs. If I owned my own business I would try to hire Jordan.

Purchased a "floor model" (i.e. open box, no damage, brand new) dishwasher online, pick up from Portland Oregon store. The store says they ONLY have 'scratch and dents', and admit the website is misleading.
Dishwasher looks pretty good, there is a slight inconspicuous dent, so I take it home. Sure enough, the frame is bent (almost impossible to tell until you install it) and the unit leaks like a sieve at the (non) seal between the door and the chassis.
There is no repair or replacement option, just uninstall and return to store for refund. Lots of trouble for no gain.
Sears Outlet website (corporate) has no shame.
Having said all this, there are bargains to be had at the Sears Outlet store, in person, if you are knowledgeable and keenly aware. The store is full of appliances, and with time and attention you can sift out the bargain pearls (good pricing, no obvious defects) from the crowd of damaged and suspect units. If you see bent frames, stay away, for example. Unless you can un-bend the frame without compromising function or performance, in which case you can buy a 'good as new' unit for the price of a damaged unit. You are taking a chance in the hopes of scoring a bargain, and it is better to being home an appliance which fails immediately rather than one which works just long enough to outlast the return window.
P.S. I returned my dishwasher, and instead of asking for a refund I rummaged through a dozen or more models before I found one worth taking home, and the good folks at the store gave me an extra 10% discount.

I bought a SEARS washer and dryer two years ago. When the washer broke down, they sent a repair guy out to "estimate" the repair which is nonrefunable and $75. After paying a fortune to get the washer fixed....almost the cost of the washer....three weeks later it doesn't work. Now they want me to pay $5 just to chat with someone. Total rip off

I ordered a Thermador 48" gas cooktop on 6-25 received and order conformation the same day. on 6-26 I received a conformation of sale listing a completely different item a 30" electric range? come to find out they both had the same part number. (how dose that happen) my service rep said they didnt have the 48" gas cooktop so they were just going to send a 30" range. Some times you just have to laugh.

I ordered a Samsung Range from Sears Outlet on July 24th 2018. The long and short of it: range was damaged, returned it, have been trying to get a refund since Sept 7th when they received it. January 7th 2019 still no refund. They have quite possibly the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. I have called them counting, today Jan 7th, 7 times, spending anywhere from 30 to 45 minutes serially on hold only to have them tell me, that someone will email me with information in 48 hours. I have not received a single email. Their strategy seems to be to wear me down, so I will stop calling. But I cant afford to ignore $2000 on my credit card that I have now been paying interest on since August 2018. I tried a credit card dispute, but Sears told credit card people they never received the range, even though Sears Outlet customer service confirmed that they received it on Sept 7th. I cant help but feel Sears Outlet.com has robbed me and I am helpless. So as I said abandon hope all who order here.

Ordered an appliance online and called the store to check when it would be ready because I never got an email stating a time. The representative told me they have it there and to bring my confirmation email and I could pick it up today. Get there and they have me wait for an hour because their system is not showing that my order was processed and there's nothing they can do. Long story short I drove across town and now have to drive back across town with no appliance. They could care less. This is why Sears is going out of business. Poor customer service. Thinking about canceling my order and just walking in the store and buying a brand new appliances out right so that I can have it tonight.

Had great customer service on phone. I ordered a glass top range online and called after to confirm I could pick up (local store scratch/dent item). No problem. Arrived and inspected and seemed ok. Got it home and next day in the daylight I started to realize it was pretty beat up - well beyond the dented drawer handle that was advertised. The drawer was all screwed up and as I began taking it apart to fix it (which required a good amount of hammering) - I saw the caster locations were all bent up and it was impossible to adjust them to level the unit. Also found a 2" Long crack In glass top caused by missing foam sealer section on the edge of the glass. No idea if it happened intransit or was like that as it's hard to initially see.. but if it happened on the way home it was inevitable. They try so hard to sell you the extra sears insurance policy and I'd believe that's because a lot of this "floor model" / "dented" item equipment often has more wrong with it than meets the eye.
Also bought a washer/Dryer while there that was a floor model' and in getting it the house realized there was water in it and dryer lint in the pipe and all over the lint filter. Haven't tried it yet but worried now it was a return and is broken.. def not a floor model - bs.
Next time I'd skip the scratch Nd dent discount and buy new. Less worry, less hassle, arrives in good condition in a box with a manual.
Also ridiculous that they don't provide any info on the stuff in the store - model #, features, etc. just seems super scammy overall and sales people were mostly clueless about items.

What kind of company lists a product as in-stock when it isn't? Bought a couch and went to the store to pick it up, and they coldly said, "too bad it takes weeks to come here." Then, the next day, I receive an email saying my order is ready for pickup. Drive to the store again....just to be told they have no idea why I would get an email saying it is there because they don't even receive orders on a Sunday. WOW. RUN FOR THE HILLS. Their prices aren't even that low - Found the exact same couch at several other businesses for almost exactly the same price. I won't be buying one single item from Sears ever again. Good riddance!

SEARS OUTLET IS SELLING DAMAGED FREIGHT SALVAGE LABELED AS "REFURBISHED" AND "SEARS CERTIFIED." THE APPLIANCES ARE NOT REFURBISHED, NO ONE HAS CHECKED THEM IN ANY WAY, AND THEY ARE TYPICALLY BADLY DAMAGED FROM TRANSIT. THE PRICING IS REFURBISHED PRICING, WHILE SEARS PAYS ON THE ORDER OF TEN CENTS ON THE DOLLAR. THIS IS CONSUMER FRAUD.
