I ordered food 3 hours ago and I am still waiting for it. I called their customer service number and their staff sounded nonchalant and would not give me a refund. 3 hours! and your choices are you can wait for it or we can cancel and then at that point give you a refund! What happened to you will get your food shortly and we will give you a refund! Oh but it gets worse, they changed the driver and when the new one went to get the food the restaurant stated that they had already given the food to the previous driver. The way they handled the situation was terrible.

Neither of these companies care about customer service and they are actually practicing modern day slavery. They have you working for both companies for only $15 an hour. There are so many flaws in their system that you have to just except the fact that you are scamming people. They have Management that will send people on fun company outings during the times we had shutdowns in NY or heavy call volumes. Doing so sets you up for a very depressing and useless work environment. Ideas that are being brought to their attention are brushed off and their management in the corporate care department will treat you different if you don't kiss butt. They don't handle REAL issues effectively (customer or system complaints). Most of the time in my shift starting off I had no management or leadership to assist me with providing the best customer service and when I took the initiative to ask for coaching I was written up. No yelling, no cursing, just an unhappy customer with a language barrier and I wanted to have a better call. All and All these complaints that I've seen below are all correct and its very disgusting to know that people actually waste their money on these businesses. If you are a corporate client you will be lied to and refunded or receive a re delivery and if you are a consumer then they just treat you like crap. MATT MALONEY IS RUNNING A MODERN DAY SLAVE SHIP AND I'M NOT EVEN SURE HE KNOWS IT IS THE SICK PART.

Second time today and the order did not get delivered! THAT IS ABSURD. And when you call the only thing that can be done is Cancelled the order! Will be pacing bad reviews everywhere that i can!

So this has happened a couple of times where my order didnt get picked by a driver and I kept getting messages about the delay and had to call the restaurant only to find out that my food had been waiting and no one picked it up. Seamless / grubhub seems to have a problem with letting the customer know that this is the reason for the wait and now a person has been waiting. Then what I'm suppose to take food that's been sitting stewing for 30 min to hour?
Next why cant they do like uber eats and allow you to tip after you see the service forcing me to tip then get a $#*!ty driver or no food at all they pocket their money and I'm stuck waiting on a refund. I'm one more chance "f" up from cancelling seamless like I did door dash.

this delivery service is absolutely horrible. I ordered online, my delivery was estimated an hour. about two hours later the online tracker says "delivered." the food was not delivered. I called Seamless and asked where my food was. the Seamless rep said they would contact my driver and see where they were. I get a call back 10 minutes later saying the order was never picked up and was cancelled. what the hell?? do not use this service unless you wish to waste your money and time to be disappointed and lied to!

For my first purchase, they sent two promo codes, one for $10, one for $12. When I tried to apply each, it said these were only available on my first purchase. I had JUST signed up for an account. After over 30 minutes chatting with support, they REFUSED to honor either coupon. BEWARE! Even if they know you've already signed up with Grubhub (which it turns out is their parent company, who knew?) they will send you these coupons, but then will tell you they're invalid. Go anywhere else.

Most of the time Seamless is a great app but I just had a horrible experience ordering from Shake Shack. Some restaurants don’t have contact with Seamless and they have you contact Seamless instead. I couldn’t even speak to the store I ordered from. My order was delayed twice and I decided to cancel because it had been in the works for almost 2 hours. I would be very wary when ordering on Seamless because you never know what you’re gonna get.

I use this app everyday but I am now cancelling my account. It's 9.14pm and it's the second order of the night to go wrong and 20% towards my next order just won't cut it. A summary of the latest order from Red Lobster below. I wish I could upload pics of what I received.
"An hour and a half late, stone cold, every piece of lobster partially eaten with only tails intact. The driver asked for cash over the phone - she said something about her car being out of gas. I said I had tipped via the app. She said she didn't have immediate access to that cash. Then when I went downstairs to pick up my order, she sent her child (8 or 9 years old) to deliver it. The child reiterated her mother's demand for money. I said I didn't have cash but had tipped through the app. I am truly disgusted and won't be using Seamless anymore."

I made an order on your website.
More than 1h later, I didn't receive my order.
I messaged your team, I got redirected at least 5th times to different members of your company with no solution.
Also, I called the support service and still, it seems that I won't receive my food as my order was blocked. But they will still take my money.
It is the second time I order on your website and I don't receive my order !!!!!
The last time, it was too late to go outside, so I had to stay without food the whole night.
First, please give me my money back!
Second, explain to me the reason behind blocking my orders twice.
Finally, this is the last time I will order on your website.

Quick service and simple website and app to use. The selection of food is wide and the "popular foods" in each restaurant with pictures aren't fake pictures and recommendations so you just get something. Every time I ordered popular dishes they turned out AMAZING 10/10 no need to yelp every restaurant and dig through reviews! Less popular restaurants don't have a "popular dish" unfortunately

Ordered a meal. Put "No Sauce" on the details due to allergy issues. Site did not let food vendor know. Food arrived with said sauce. Called food place who stated they were not informed of the food restriction. Messaged Seamless directly and was basically told I was SOL and now I'm buying a second meal since I can't eat the first...

Whenever my order is wrong i contact seamless and they refund me. Not sure why everyone else is having issues. But do not call the restaurant because they are going to pull a bunch of crap, and make things complicated. Seamless has been very similar to amazon and does a lot to help the customer. Very good experience!

According to a lot of restaurants, seamless sends their own drivers to pick up food apparently ? So if they forget an item you won’t be able to get it resent. Their customer representatives suck, they just want to tell you they will refund you one item and only way to have the item resent is to order again with the restaurant... makes no sense. Stick to ordering food with the actual restaurants website as seamless does not deserve to take any percentage of the money you pay to get food if all they offer is lousy service.

The delivery guy just took our food and left doesn't bother coming to the door. When as for my refund they don't give it they say due to policy only credit doesnt make sense if we arent fault.

NEVER on time with deliveries. If you normally eat around a specific time, order your food about 2 hours earlier than that, because that is how fast they get your orders to you. Never ordering from seamless again, not worth the hunger headache.

If I could give this 0 stars I would.. tonight was the first time we ordered from them. We ordered out food 1 hour before the restaurant was supposed to close which we assumed would be plenty of time compared to doordash and uber eats. 58 min went by and we got a text from the driver saying she was with grubhub and was just assigned the order and was 45 min away from the restaurant and they close in 1 min did we still want our food... we ended up calling the restaurant and they said they would stay open long enough for us to come pick it up ourselves and we canceled through the service.... horrible first and last impression of this service.

VERY DISRESPECTFUL COMPANY! Will never use seamless again. Have been a customer for over 5 years and have’d several issues with others being delay with no feedback whatsoever. Last time after waiting for over 2 and a half hours and calling seamless twice, no solution was reached. All the customer service person could tell me was that they were not able to contact the driver, but that they sent him a message and that I would receive updates on the app. 3 HOURS WAIT! I asked to talk to a surpervisor and they put me on hold for almost half an hour!!!! No respect!!! Was never able to talk to the supervisor!
