I purchased three pairs of bifocals. for $35. which suppose to be $20. less then there normal price with a coupon. Now I don't expect high quality framing. But the lenses I never in my life seen. they stick on a piece of plastic about one inch in the middle of the lense. not cut into the lense as I seen on glasses. but stuck on like a piece of tape. Really poor quality.. I expect it to be similar if not better then you can buy in a drug store.of similar price, Not so.. and of course you can return them and pay for the return which is over $10,00. and God only knows how long you have to wait for the credit.. So thumbs down. I'll try and use them for a while, but they don't work well.. things get very fussy.

I ordered combination glasses with different strengths in each lens. While I'm glad they offer this service, it just didn't work. The power I had tested for my weaker right eye just wasn't vaguely right when I received the readers.com glasses. Moreover, the frames were far uglier looking than they appeared online. So... I'm out $70 with an unusable pair of reading glasses. Can't say I recommend getting a pair of these.

First off, the reading glasses are mismatched when it comes to strength. I ordered 3 pair of 3x strength, which is what I have been using when buying from Walgreens/CVS and so forth. The readers.com 3x are about twice the strength of the local retailer brands so everything way blurry unless I held things about 1 inch from the glasses. Tried to exchange on the website and they present a nice easy to use page to do exchanges, however they trap users with a required field which cannot be edited, thus making you email (24 hour wait time) or call. I called twice and got "Adam is out to lunch until 1pm...please leave a message" on each call. This has to be a 1 or 2 person operation if that's the voice mail on the main 800 line? Anyway, they are making it extremely difficult to do business with. Once I get this order corrected, I will not order again nor would I recommend them to anyone else. Go to the local store and pay a little extra but come out with exactly what you want and need.

I like the selection and ease but the coupon come-on seemed like bait and switch. When I entered the code I was not allowed the teaser price even though my order met the parameters given.

Mislead by the pictures on their website. The glasses are cheap looking and don't seem to have the correct magnification.
I regret not reading reviews before I purchased.

I purchased a pair of readers for my husband, but they arrived missing an earpiece. I dreaded calling customer service, but they were so nice. They replaced my husbands' readers with two pair, and I didn't have to box the broken ones up and send them back. They made a bad experience so much better. They have my business forever.

Bought a couple pairs of glasses from Readers.com and in less than two months both pairs had broken on the frame. Thought maybe I was being too hard on the glasses so ordered a couple more and this time they lasted a little over three months before breaking again.
I take my glasses on and off frequently and wondered (again) if it might be how I was using them. And I love their frame styles so I tarried yet again - ordered glasses with the hinged frames (two of one style and two of another). Each pair lasted from two to eight weeks and in less than five months, all four pair were history.
So I contacted Readers, explained the situation and provided some pictures of the broken frames and they couldn’t have been nicer; sorry to hear that they didn’t work, we’ll definitely pass this along, etc. And by the way, go ahead and order four more pair for free - up to x$ cost which was more than double what I’d originally paid. Great, I’m thinking, maybe more expensive readers will last longer.
If only. Glasses arrived mid-Jan and the last pair just broke a week ago. On average, a new pair every 45 days.
Looks like I’m going back to Costco and Walgreens. They may not be as stylish but they last 5-10 times longer.

Worse than a 1. I purchased a pair from them and I normally use the cheap equate classes for $5. 3.00 magnification. I ordered a 4.00 from them and it wasn't usable. they sent me a replacement pair in 4.5 still wasn't usable. Months later now and I thought well I will give them another chance. I ordered a pair of 5.00 thinking that maybe their magnification strengths were on a different scale or something. Nope. still didn't work as well as the walmart 3.00. Its pretty bad when a $20 pair of reading glasses doesn't work as well as a weaker strength $5 pair from walmart. Don't waste your money.

Don't buy these! They look good but the arms fall off within weeks even with light use and they can't be repaired I have dollar store reading glasses that have lasted ten times longer. They'll send you a replacement when they fall apart but that gets old. I have a drawer of broken glasses.

Bought 3 pairs of Otto Computer Reader glasses. The frames broke for all 3 pairs within 3 weeks. Posted my review of these glasses on their site and it never showed up. Tried to review again a few weeks later and they still won’t post the review.

I have ordered at least 10 pair of glasses from this company I love them all especially the reader sunglasses I have ordered all different colors and I've re ordered a couple because I either lost them or broke them but they broke because I broke them by accident

Cheap and flimsy glasses. They look nice but the fit is uncomfortable and the glass gets smudged every 5 minutes (even when my eyelashes touch them). I wanted to change my review after having worn my glasses for a couple of days but it seems they are very clever about it. They only keep the good reviews and the moderators don't reveal the poor ones from the same person.

I bought glasses with 3.50 strength
Icouldn't believe it. My $1 glasses of 3.00 strength read a lot better than the $20 glasses I purchased from readers.com.

I paid about $17 for a pair of Readers glasses. The quality of the plastic and the fittings was poor from the start. Within a month or two, one of the temples fell off, and I could not use the screw, or replacement screws from a kit, to re-attach it. I took the glasses to an eyeglass store. They told me that Readers products were put together with pegs, not screws, and that they had not been able to obtain the pegs. I got out my wire cutters, cut a new 1/8" peg from a straight pin, and stuck it on with a bit of masking tape. If you don't have wire-cutters, try slip-jaw pliers that have a cutting slot between the jaws. I plan to avoid using the spring hinges on mine, in an attempt to keep the improvised peg in place holding the temple on. And I put another gob of masking tape over the other peg. Good luck with yours. I've found much better quality reading glasses in thrift shops, but fell for Readers ads and promotions. Never again.

Great great buy! I thought ok, will give this glass company a try, the others have been ok, but glasses were cheap in price and quality. Ordered 4 pairs, total cost $28.00. Received in about 4 days and they are the best reading glasses ever! The frames are strong, comfortable, and pretty. The glass is better than my prescription glass at many $$$$ more. Can't believe these are so great! Thanks Readers!!!
