Quality Wise the builders seem impressed (they told horror stories about baths customers have bought that were thin and would flex when filled tearing silicon seals and levering tiles off the wall).
Price wise they are a bit more expensive than other similar products I saw online (though I was unable to compare those for quality).
Where they stand out is the unique range of odd sizes and shapes that I couldn't find anywhere else so I could really maximise the layout of the small bathroom we had to work with.
Kind of slow, it seems they don't hold much stock so a lot of things are made to order. Total delivery time from order was 9 days.
This is where they really let themselves down. (would otherwise have been a 4 star; minus 1 because of high-ish price and slow-ish speed)
Placed the order on the 19th with the UK rep Declan saying we needed the bath in a hurry, was told to expect it about the 27th - 8 days is already a pretty long lead time compared to most other companies. Having heard nothing more we started chasing but couldn't get any updates, eventually on the morning of the 25th Vera came back to me to say she would look into it. Her response that afternoon was to tell me the tub was being shipped that day..... and would take a minimum 3 days, probably 5!!!
Eventually we got some tracking, I have never heard of the company doing the logistics, big operators can normally overnight pallets across Europe, but this company had some problems and it got held up in Germany... "Not enough Space" was the tracking message and the bath was stuck in Dortmund with an estimated delivery date of "Early July" according to Ravak.
Further comms with RAVAK and they say they normally tell customers to expect 14 day manufacturing/ delivery time for all products and we should never have been promised an 8 day delivery by Declan....who also didn't tell them we needed it in a hurry....
At this point the wife was livid, and the builders were twiddling their thumbs. We would not have ordered it if we knew about the 14 day lead time and felt duped that we had been told what we wanted to hear just to get us to pay.
In the end the bath then turned up the next day!! So only a day late, but we had spent the last 48 hours fuming/ panicking /searching for alternatives.
So all in all a strongly mixed experience, which could have been much better with better information flow throughout the process.
