It is a very easy program that can be used pretty much by any person. I didn't waste any time wondering how to use it and that was really great. I entered my information with no trouble and was happy with the software but then 2 days later and I still don't have my past quarter return. They do not disclose there timing up front. I chose not to have a copy mailed and wanted to download and print it and they never uploaded it to for me to print. I am very disappointed and annoyed.

I see that many of the negative reviews have varying excuses as to why their documents cannot be received or traced. Shady. I am disputing this charge with my bank as fraud as this company has not yet released my simple tax return to even download. I would not recommend this site to anyone doing their taxes. Save yourself the trouble.

Never again will I use any other service, especially TurboTax. One year they made mistakes on the returns of many people, including me. It resulted in having to pay back a lot of money for the next few years. I found this site after visiting a local company and wanting to find something more affordable. This local company let me know what my refund would be and that the charge would be $80 if they filed for me. I decided to give this site a try and it gave me the same exact result for a lot less. It is so easy to use. I have been using it for the last six years or so and don't plan on looking anywhere else for my income tax services.

Priortax have been great through the years. I use to use Turbo Tax but Prior Tax has better customer service and their response time is immediate.

NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMER...
It stated I could e-file my prior year taxes for free.. I completed everything and once done they charged me $35. I was not upset by this, because I consider like a convenience fee. It just made my task easier so I don't mind doing it. What upset me is AFTER I paid it, it let me know that I could not e-file the taxes and I would have to wait on them to send me a copy in a PDF format via my email. I would then have to download, go find a place to print them, and then send them in via us mail. ALL OF WHICH I WAS TRYING TO AVIOD (why I had no problem paying the $35.) I could have done all of this literally for free. I paid for a program to allow me to type info into it basically! NOT HAPPY and WILL NOT USE AGAIN!

I used Prior Tax to file back taxes since 2005! The process is super easy and I am glad I didn't have to pay thousands of dollars to one of those companies that offer to clear up back taxes! Highly recommend!
