I would give it 0 stars if I could my little brother came to get a fish and she refused to let us buy it she was very nice to the customer before us even though he was talking about breeding the fish and other stuff that he should be and she told him oh we’re actually not supposed to know if you do that. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND MADE MY LITTLE 6 YEAR OLD BROTHER CRY FOR HOURS ALL HE WANTED WAS A FISH.

Went into store and will not go back
Went into store…1. NO CARTS
2. Asked employee about one, reply was “don’t have any” ..
3. No Iams dog food in anything else but 40 lb bags
4. No one at check out desk
5. Had multiple other items in hands to buy, but put them down and left…NO CUSTOMER SERVICE.
6. Will order what I want from Amazon…..I like to patronize local merchants, but not under those conditions

Told me I had a 15% off my first order…
Told me I had a 15% off my first order online. Trouble was everything I tried ordering when I went to check out it said there not available at the store. So I called the store and the store had the merchandise and told me I could pick it up
Went to get the product it was more expensive even with the 15% discount. I tried only with 4 stores in Las Vegas and same story.

Dad and Dog off getting Milk
I liked the dog it was very cute. The only problem was my armrest kept moving away from me. It moved so far it joined my Dad at the milk store.

The Stillwater MN store is great
The Stillwater MN store is always so clean. The animals and fish are healthy (I've never seen a dead or sick fish in the tanks) and the people who work there are so friendly and helpful. It is by far the nicest Petco I have ever been in

The prices are prohibitively high for…
The prices are prohibitively high for everything from wet food to cat treats to pee pads. And even though I appreciate the "points" that reduce my bill by $5 every now and again (which is only fair, considering the high cost of Petco's everyday products), time will tell.
In the future, I will think long and well about whether or not Petco (a) really does give a damn about pets and their owners and (b) TRULY deserves my money, since that is my main concern.

I love Petco brands, HOWEVER
I love Petco brands, especially the whole hearted dog food.
A huge however, and the reason I'm not using Petco anymore -
The website works 50% of the time. Right now the website is currently reloading every 3 seconds without me reloading the page. The app never remembers my password to login, and when I type in the right password several times (I've noted it in my notes so I don't forget), it will not login and I have to reset my password.
My only request is for Petco to get a new IT team because the website and app are horrible to use.

Missing Delivery, Prompt Refund
I ordered a cat tree and UPS marked it delivered when it was not, and was entirely unhelpful about the location of my giant box, simply telling me to look around the house for it.
I contacted livechat customer service on PetCo.com about the problem; they asked for my order information to look it up, and disconnected me mysteriously immediately after. When I started a new livechat session, however, they asked for my information, looked up the order, and apologized for the rare occurrence before offering me my choice of a replacement or refund of the cat tree.
I elected to get a replacement (I still needed a cat tree) and was told the request would be sent to their third-party supplier for the item and process in the next 48 hours and I would get an email about it with delivery information. I did, two days later, get notice that it had been sent through to the supplier. And a day after that, I got notification that my refund had processed. I gather that their third-party supplier could not fulfill the order, though it would have been nice to be told that directly. . .

Customer Relations Saved Me As A Customer
I receive my order of cat food and it was thrown into a box like one would throw out there garbage. I had missing packets, some open and they were boiling hot where I wouldn’t feel safe feeding any of it to my pets. I spoke to a customer service rep through the chat and explained what was going on and I got absolutely no where. After doing a little googling I was able to find a email for petco customer relations. I emailed them my issue and I had gotten a smooth response apologizing offering a refund or replace the items. I went with the replacement. All and all what started out a little rocky ended up working out right in the end.
