made two Orders since May 6th and 7th... the order was over 300 dollars stuff for my son 5th birthday on May 19th. Base on the Items they told me that I supose to receive them on my 13th. Guess what? I still not receive them. When I called I spent two hours on the line with no one pick up. I called the next day same thing. I obliged to buy most of the stuff on Amazon thinking that I will receive them on time. Guess what ? I finally received a traffic number which said I will receive my order on the May 26th. Will never buy from Party city. I will return the box back when I received it. I am extremely disappointed !

Order balloons online take 30 minutes to do it check out. Two hours later go pick up with the order number they told me the order doesn't go through they can do nothing wasted another 45 minutes

I called to inquire about store hours and COVID restrictions and the sales clerk, answered, in a hurry to get me off the phone, to tell me the store was closing at 6pm and that I had to go online to place an order for Same day curbside delivery. She gave no further information or instructions. You have to know the Specific instructions, Which the website also failed to properly give or you will do it wrong like I did, accidentally, and end with a shipping/mail order. So I tried to call headquarters the next week day, from 11am to 4 pm to cancel my order and got absolutely no one from headquarters to answer The phone. I sent multiple emails through the "contact us form" about the order and I have yet to receive an answer to my request. I never knew this company was so ill-prepared to do curbside pick up and online orders and customer service for resolution of issues. What an awful place!! The website is also not up-to-date and the employees leave stuff off your order if it is no and don't even bother to tell you. I will use another company from now on. All staff at Party City, need lessons from the top down about how to properly execute Quality customer service!!!

I ordered party supplies for my sons 9th birthday. In this time of isolation, I at least wanted to decorate for his birthday since he is not having a normal birthday party. I ordered the supplies on 4/20 and paid for 3 day expedited shipment. On 4/25 (5 days later), I received an email stating that because my order contained a helium tank, they could only ship via ground shipment. I responded to the email as requested, and received an undeliverable message. I then went onto the website and typed in a message on their contact form. I have received no response. It is now the day before my sons birthday, 9 days after the order was placed, and I am waiting (32 minutes and counting) for a customer representative to pickup. I have zero confidence any of the supplies will be here in time. The experience cannot be worse. Period.

Ordered banners for granddaughters graduation in Texas. When package arrived it was not what we ordered!!!!!!! Banner had picture of African American girl graduating from middle school!!! Ours should have been of a Hispanic girl graduating from high school!!! Called and they said they didn't refund money on personal printing. We just wanted banners done right.Party City totally ruined what should have been a Great Celebration for our family!!!! CEOS shame on you for messing with families!!!! I wish I was powerful and with money!!!!

The advertised order online and pickup today curbside is not happening. Ordered at 11am and went to store at 2:30 to pickup ordered and could not get through to the advertised number to pick up order. Called 82 times....yes 82 and it kept saying number was busy to try later. Employee at door said they could not assist unless we called the number. Would never recommend Party City. Reached out to customer service and they said they could not reach store but they would send an email. Like that's really going to help if they are not answering their phones when I was attempting to pick up the order that I paid for. No offer to refund me! Terrible customer support!

I had looked online for an item and I needed it within a day or two. I called my local store to see if they had the item in stock and they told me yes. Within the hour I went to that store and could not find the item and was told by one of the managers that we didn't have it. I said I spoke to you with in the hour and you told me you had the item and I was very specific on which one I was looking for. You said well we don't carry that at this time. I then called customer service and they made it out that I was at fault for not giving them a SKU number that the store manager didn't ask for over the phone which I would have readily have given him since I was looking online at the item. I asked her how I can get it by tomorrow or the next day and she told me orders were cut off for the evening and I could pay for expedited shipping. I explained that it wasn't my fault then I would pay for regular shipping and not expedited shipping since it was their mistake and in confidence. She then hung up on me. From this point on I will buy all my party supplies at Walmart Target and other stores and never again at Party City

I ordered birthday decorations, of course to be delivered before the day of. Nothing is stated on the "shipping" section that you must be there to give a signature. I was not there, went to the post office it's not there either. The birthday party is tomorrow. Thanks, anyone need 30th party decorations? Come on Party City use UPS or Fed Ex. I guess we know why your going out of business. It's the way you run your business. I relied on you for a special reason and you f***** it up. I will never order from you again, NEVER!!! The only reason I gave 1 star, there wasn't one for 0.

We got some Helium ballons for $16.99 plus taxes on Monday, and came back on Saturday to fill them up. They sell you the package as a "free" fill up, however, when i got to the store i had to go through a huge line for the manager to tell me that they were low on Helium and could not do it!!! Besides, everyone on the store was no help at all!!!! Believe me, there are other places over there, avoid this one at all costs. If i had listen to the other reviews i would be just fine now, instead of running around now to other stores!

I ordered a customized balloon on the Party City website which was to be sent to the store and I had email confirmation regarding this and it was never done. This was for a special event and I was let down. I was very disappointed The customer service is terrible in the store. (Bradenton Florida location) They did not care and I will never ever purchase anything from Party City again. I will definitely go to their competitors even though is more expensive but I know that my request will be taken care of from previous purchases. I made the wrong decision to go with party city -please don't do the same.

I drove out of my way to the Party City in Indio to get balloons for my Mom's birthday instead of stopping at the Dollar Store because I THOUGHT the quality of the balloons would hold the helium longer. WRONG...her balloons were drooping to the floor the next morning. Waited 15 minutes in a 3 person line for these balloons and spent close to $20. Never again....back to the Dollar Stores for balloons....

I would like to commend an employee of your Clifton store, sheena Simms. Sheena went out of her way to help me arrange a set of balloons for my granddaughter party. The color arrangement was beautiful, we received a lot of compliments! She took the time out of a busy Saturday to help me with the arrangement, and also helped me find other items in this store that I needed. This employee was also helping other customers as well, and was polite and courteous to the other customers as well. Please commend this valued employee.

This was at the store in Shenandoah, Tx. Purchased a headband for my granddaughter. It was broken when I took it from the bag. We're talking less than a $5 item. Just wanted an exchange or store credit. Aron was so unhelpful and repeated himself saying if it was broken when we purchased, too bad. Why would I have purchased broken??? And this guy was not a teenager, but a middle aged man. Such poor service does endear one to repeat purchases. Too petty deal with for anything major. Steer clear!

I bought a pinata that cost $39.95. We only filled it up about halfway with candy because it was a quite large pinata and we hung it from the tree the handle on it broke and the pinata fell to the ground and bust open before one child even got to hit the pinata. In addition I bought 20 glow-in-the-dark swords that cost $1.69 each and almost every last one of them was broke within two seconds of taking it out of the package that's how cheaply made they were the handles most of them were split. I like the variety they have at Party City but they're way overpriced especially for the lack of quality of the merchandise that you receive.

They suck in customer service. No one knows where the products are. I bought a wing for the Halloween and confirm the return policy. The cashier said it is 30 days after purchasing in original package with receipt. I came the day after and they refused for a return, exchange or store credit. The manager emphasized it is on the receipt that we won't. I told her I will only get the receipt after purchasing and once purchased I can't return that's why I confirmed with cashier. Way to ruin special occasions and lose customers

I went in and purchased 2 costumes. My e. Husband also purchased 2 costumes from a different store/company. The kids actually used his. I explained to the cashier when I was there that there was a possibility of this and she said yes ma'am you have 7 days from the date of purchase to return. This is almost 80$ on costumes that I spent and now they are telling me there's nothing they can do. This is ridiculous and I will make sure every website that promotes them knows what theives they are.

I ordered a costume for my son on Sunday. I was suppose to have it by Thursday. I call company to get tracking and it is now USPS priority when my confirmation email clearly says UPS Ground. They have no idea if/when I will get my costume and I can't even cancel the order now. Calling in is a joke as they keep directing you to go online and send an email, which I did to no response! Now I get to break it to my son that his costume probably won't be here in time :( Never again
