Booked a fare with a £10 voucher code and got advertised the fare. Got dropped off and told the fare was 3x the estimate and if been charged the extra. When I finally got a call from support they said there was a 2.7x on it due to low availability of drivers! When I argued this and thst that wasn't my fault and you can't just charge me extra without telling me the guy said well they can and if I have a problem to take it up with my bank. Decided to Uber my way home who charged the right amount!!!

If a 0 star review was available, I would choose it.
AVOID this company like the plague. Their “estimated” fare may look appealing at face value, however when they drop you off you will charged an “updated” fare which is based on a number of “varying” factors. All of which is in their terms and conditions. I find it amusing that customer support/service is almost non-existant, and if you check their flashy “values” part of their website, its no suprise the false caring jargon doesn’t list their customers as one of their values.
Horrible business model / con artists.

Received an email with the total cost including taxes yet my Visa payment is for more than stated.
Still a cheap ride, thought I’d give Ola a go but will definitely not use them in future - ethically wrong with their charging!

Unethical and unreliable. I have sent a few e-mails to customer support regarding their over-charging. ( charges twice for rides more than one occasion) and all I get is back to back auto generated respond saying they couldn’t find my registered account which is absolutely frustrating and unresolved to this date. I even sent them a screenshot of my account page. Aside from that, thejr referral scheme is inconsistent. Just terrible borderline scammers!

I would suggest Never book Ola in NZ. It is the worst cab service I’ve ever seen in my life.

Was charge for riddle because he called barely understood think was asking where I was tried explained was waiting where uber is ment to meet . Then he drove past me. So you can Ola your crap services and i go back to uber.

I was told about ola since I am having issues getting uber to work
I used the coupon and was quote about £7, after several minutes the driver cancelled for no apparent reason, kept trying but the price kept jumping all over the place, even with the coupon jumped up to £17 at one point, eventually I got a quote of around £10, so I took it.
Drive was fine but afterwards, saw I had been charged over £16.
I can even see a fare increase on the invoice for £6.08
No reasons given at all, so I contacted ola and they reached out to the driver and this is the response I got

We understand your concern regarding the charges applied for the ride bearing CRN 3591791821. We apologize for the inconvenience caused to you.
We assure you that our billing team had re-checked the bill amount, and we would like to inform you that we always advise our drivers to take the optimal route to the destination as suggested by Google navigation. After validating your route, we observed that the driver followed the optimal route and you have been charged appropriately.
We appreciate your understanding in this regard"
Really, not going to actually address the issue of the overcharging. If I can't get a refund then I will do my best to leave bad reviews and post on social media so they lose money in the long run.
If they can seemingly add an extra charge they can do this to everyone, but I am sure if they do it will end up in people never using them again, I know I won't be

Awful service!! They said 50% off when you first sign up, but this was capped at a max of $10 and most of my trips into the city are $40-$60 each!! Then they provided a discount code of $10 off during NZ Fashion Week, and I tried twice to use it, and failed. It kept saying unable to use this code... terrible! And one of the rides who showed up was in another branded taxi car??

I used Ola for the first time last night. The fare quoted was $25. The driver dropped me off in the wrong location and I had to hail a taxi to get to where I wanted to go. So I ended up paying double. To make matters worse when I checked my credit card this morning Ola has charged me twice for two different amounts - both way above the $25 fare quoted! Looking at the other reviews I think Ola is behaving in an unethical and deceptive manner. Their claim that they are cheaper than Uber is clearly false advertising. Also the fare quoted should be the fare paid - they should not be able to increase your fare once you have accepted the ride. Last night was my first and last time using this company. I will be sticking with Uber and Taxi Apps who are transparent about the fare before you accept the ride.

Today I waited in the rain for twenty minutes for the ola cab I had ordered.
I was cold, wet and running late.
The app indicating his location kept fluctuating between 8min and 13min distance from me and then he cancelled after me waiting for him , but it’s funny if it was the other way round we would get charged

I install Ola app today and I am uninstalling it today after a very bad experience. I did book a taxi and meet up point was Holland and Barrett in the high street where i live. The taxi driver kept asking me where i was and while i did put on the system meet up point =Holland and Barret and i was just there waiting for him to come! He kept talking to me but never appeared and on top of that I have been charged a cancellation fee! This never happened to me with Uber so i am gonna stick with Uber and I definitely won't recommend Ola

Had a very bad service today was trying to book a cab from morning 8:15 am and got cab 1:10 pm worst service I have had with Ola..please do not install the app. My cab got cancelled 6 times..

Very bad service. No customer contact number of site.
Their drivers also fraud.
This was my 3rd booking in this week. Today I took an auto from Ola app. In between traveling auto drivers mobile phone goes switch off. I am using OlA from this week only. I am a new customer.
Due to courtesy, I paid auto fair in cash (Driver mobile goes switch off).
But after 1 hour, I got another message that auto fair paid from my wallet also and destination showing drivers location.
Oh, sit! very bad experience with OLA and when tried to contact customer care .
Not able to found any contact number on OLAs website.

Totally ripped off. Overcharged for a ride home that was supposed to be 50% off. Ended up paying about £10 more than normal fare. Do not use. Website was useless to report issue as wouldn't let us. Do not use.

The app said five minutes. After about 10 minutes waiting it then said 18. The car on the map seemed to be going this way and that but never getting any nearer, so I cancelled. A cheap service is pointless if it never arrives! I will never use Ola again.

Got charged a £2.50 wait fee when I was standing there when the cab arrived. Tried to contact customer support to get a refund (which Uber does really well) only be told the maximum time for the request had timed out less that 20 mins after I got out of the cab. No other way to contact Ola. Absolutely ridiculous. Back to Uber for me.

They say 50% off for two weeks, but capped at a $10. When a ride is booked they deduct charges for bank authorisation and tell that it will be reverted back to your account, but this does not happen. Today, their app showed $6.5 is deducted but $7 have been deducted from my account. Also, I have not received 50% off.

Ola customer service is a joke!
So I haven't used ola in a while and all of the sudden I find out I'm permanently blocked. They didn't even provide me with a list of said violations, I certainly haven't been informed of a single one!
Thankfully we're moving to another city and I will not need them. Plus, DiDi is better!
The fact that you cannot leave a review or recommendation on their pages says it all.

Absolutely terrible! I used Ola for the first and only time yesterday. Was quoted $22 with discount. Was going to the airport and the driver missed a turn and we ended up on a 15 minute detour. Luckily I had left plenty of time to make my flight! I told the driver I did not want to pay for the extra distance and he assured me that the way the prices work is not based on km’s travelled but the distance from my house to the airport (lies). So then I got a bill of $42!! I told him I need a partial refund please and he kept arguing that the detour was only 3 minutes. More lies! He then went on to tell me I was the worst customer he’d ever had. He said he’d pay me $10 out of his own pocket if I promised not to report it to Ola. Which I never ended up getting. Very rude, unprofessional and misleading! I will never use Ola again!
