I ordered cognac color shoes and when I opened the box the shoes were black color
Called up customer support they were sorry and ordered another pair
and the same thing happened again
This time spoke to a manager at customer support and she advised me to order a different brand which I received and did not like.
The shoes that I wanted were not available on Nordstrom Rack but on Hautelook. I ordered the third time and the same thing happened again.
They send black shoes instead of the color ordered
I visited the South point Durham store and spoke to a Manager named Cassey. I requested for some compensation or discount for the hassle and the trouble they had put me through
Here is the Punch line. I was told " WE DO NOT COMPENSATE OUR CUSTOMERS FOR OUR POOR PERFORMANCE"

This is a review on Nordstrom Rack online. It is an excellent online shopping site. You can easily find some great deals and if you know what you're going into at first then you will be happy.
THEY SELL: Things that are overstock from last season / previous years, things in less popular colors or styles, things that people have returned one too many times to be sold as brand new at full price and cosmetics in less popular or discontinued shades or are too close to the expiry date to sell in store. They also sell mis-marked sizes (if you order your size you'll receive it, however it might show a differing size on the label.) It can be a wonderful deal. Sometimes though, I've ordered my size in items and receive the correct size tag but it's clearly either way too large or way too small. (Sometimes it takes Nordstrom Rack a bit to "catch up" to the knowledge and realize the size issues in what they sell and re-mark it accordingly.)
BEWARE OF THE FAKES & FINAL SALE: They also seem to have a few fakes and factory defects that make their way in. I once purchased a Laura Mercier pressed powder that was clearly the wrong color and differing packaging than I'm used to with no seal and the wrong sponge included. (Fake?) I also purchased a concealer that arrived absent of outer packaging, opened and partially empty and completely dried out with the expiry date one month away. Unfortunately these items were FINAL SALE and could not be returned or exchanged, even though I'd received clearly fake or useless merchandise. That said, STAY AWAY FROM ANY FINAL SALE ITEMS, especially any cosmetic items because chances are there's good reason they're "final sale" (no one in their right mind would ever want them.)
I'm assuming sometimes they will "get a deal" on something from a brand and that brand will be offering said deal to them because it's a bad dye lot or batch. These things usually end up on their sister site, HAUTELOOK. Hautelook is usually the "final sale" batch of whatever's there at Nordstrom Rack. The daily deals direct from the brands is where I go on that site because I'm guaranteed it's actually coming from the brand. Since the sites are connected I can check out on Rack.
THE CART IS ANNOYING: I do not like the way things "expire" in one's cart. It's a way they get you to hurry up and buy faster because if someone else puts it into their cart, then you lose out. This happens because they often only have one of something. Items stay "on hold" in your cart for about 10 or 15 minutes before expiring but it's a real pain. They should just do away with that feature of the site and when something runs out, it's out. Simple as that.

Within the last month, Nordstromrack.com delivered items other than what I've ordered TWICE! The wrong items are totally irrelevant (ordered jeans got a tank, ordered scarf got pants, etc..) to what I ordered! The weird thing is the transparent plastic bag holding the item still has name label of the correct item on it. The same thing happened a couple of times during past years, and I found the items I ordered and replaced mysteriously by something else have some common traits, they are name brands, they are sought-after hot items offered at deep discount price!!! I was just lucky enough to grab them as "1 item left".
All these makes me highly suspect it was someone replaced/stole the item I ordered when they were handling my order for whatever dark purposes they had! When employees value honesty low, we can easily see a highly raised red flag for the management! and I don't tell me rack has the same management team as nordstrom.

Soooo AWKWARD!!! If you wanna get some embarrassing experiences, try this Nordstrom Rack at Columbia!! My friend brought me a gift from Nordstrom rack, and I want to exchange it to a gift card. I told the cashier lady at the first time that it's a gift, and I want to get a refund and don't want to hurt my friend feelings at the same time. She told me she can't do cash refund, but she can do a store credit refund. After a few moments, she told me I the refund automatically goes back to the original card due to the policy, because my friend purchased it online(Nordstrom Rack.com). The girl didn't apologize at all, when she knew that she hits the wrong button, and she try to use POLICY as an excuse!! I am NOT buying it, so I talked to the manager. The manager commit that that's a human error, the casher hits the return button instead of exchange, and they can't do anything about it. SO, now my friend knows that I RETURNED his gift.

A very poor company because it has employees and workers who are untrustworthy and inefficient in their work and are not honest.
I bought several times online. There were always notifications from Nordstrom Rack that my order was unavailable and the order was canceled.
The Company manager or senior company officials follow employees who work on online customer orders and why cancel orders only with expensive goods that greatly reduced the price?
This is a question for the owner or manager of the company.
Sure there's something wrong with this issues because happened alot.
Always happening with expansive goods after when they reduced the price to be very cheap.

I received an email that said my package was expected to be delivered tomorrow. I was so excited but when it didn't come I wasn't totally let down since sometimes the mail can get hung up. (UPS) Then after a few days I was discouraged and checked the online tracking number. It only said a label was created and this was 10 days after my purchase. I called NR CS and they said the package was lost and refunded my account. I was very disappointed because the 3 shirts were no longer available. IF there is a next time, I won't wait as long to inquire about the status of my order. Such a shame.

Apparently someone just eyeballed the inseam on the shorts, as it is evident no one there used a ruler to determine the length. I ended up having to return all of my purchases. I tried to express my frustration over my online purchases, but was more or less just ignored while enduring much eye-rolling. I will never go back!!!

I received a scarf as a gift from a friend . The colors of purple dominated the scarf as I have pancreatic cancer and she wanted to compliment the purple I often wear . I wore the scarf one night to dinner and I when I got home the scarf had many threads pulled causing tiny holes . The next day I returned it to NR and the sales gal was rude and robotic in her responses . She said I didn’t have a receipt . I asked for a manager and she tagged it and the experience was no better . There was no replacement with the same colors and the item cost $15. The manager raised her voice and said she was doing a huge exception to make an exchange without a receipt . Remember , the merchandise was defective number one. I was so disgusted that I picked up my damaged scarf and walked out never to shop at a Nordstrom or Nordstrom rack again . The quality of the store is no longer there . I will continue with my online shopping with stores that return an item with no questions asked . The sad thing is I can’t wear it and show it off to my friend . KarenPK

This is the second time they've sent me the totally wrong item. The first time I ordered a denim jacket I really wanted and they sent me some other totally different jacket and by that time the one I ordered had sold out. This time I had searched the internet high and low for a pair of blue Cole Haan suede sneakers I really wanted for an upcoming trip, and Nordstrom Rack was the ONLY place that had them in my size (10.5) and they had one pair left. I clicked "order" immediately and eagerly awaited my package. When it finally arrived I ripped open the box only to find ... a HIDEOUS pair of leopard print Converse sneakers in a size 5.5. Like the person filling the order couldn't even be bothered to GLANCE at the box of shoes they grabbed before putting them in the box. Just a one-second look at the outside of the box would have told them it's the wrong brand. I called and of course they no longer have the pair of shoes I actually ordered. And now I have to shop for a new pair of sneakers for my trip and deal with the hassle of returning the awful leopard print things they sent me (not to mention waiting for a refund.)

Nordstrom Rack sells quality products at discounted prices. Their merchandise is unique and their products aren't sold at the big box stores. You can pick up some nice bargains from the clearance section and when products are on sale. I order from the website and visit also visit their stores.

I’ve had too many horrible experiences shopping with the rack. Yesterday marked the end for me. I ordered two items online that I’d been charged for and were already shipped. Seven days later the order status was marked unknown so I called and customer service rep said it had been incorrectly priced so they sent it back. What a joke! I asked for an immediate refund.
Prior to this, I did an online return instore Auburn, Wa, and it took over an hour to get my refund receipt printed due to technical issues. I wasn’t leaving without it. I contacted the store manager and never got a response. Clearly the rack does not care about their customers and I spent a lot of money there. I will no longer shop with the rack.

I visited the Rack in Schaumburg today as I used to visit quite frequently in the past. Honestly I was shock at the cheap apparel that was in the store. And security at the door!!. That was a surprise. I will probably get rid of my Nordy card. Very disappointed. I won't be going back. Sadly to say I left there without a purchase.

I had bought a pair of slides from here and not even a week later they had fallen apart. I had only worn them twice and when I brought them back WITH THE RECIPT AND TAGS INCLUDED the manager denied it because "she had never seen a shoe break like this before". So if anybody has worn their shoes even once and they break well then your out luck because they will not give you any sort of refund wether it be store credit or cash. We were completely turned away with no remorse and will never be returning to Nordstrom rack in the Warwick Mall! Wish I could put half a star or even no stars for the way I was treated.

Terrible terrible terrible customer service!! I ordered a pair of shoes that I agreed to pay the $7.95 shipping fee only because it says it will be shipped to me in 1-3 business days... 1 week later and they still have not arrived! According to their customer service rep they mean that it will ship from their location in 1-3 business days... very deceiving! All the rep did was “aww I’m sorry” me to death, did nothing! And when I asked to speak to a manager, she said to hold on and hung up on me. Never ordering from them again, not worth it.

I'm complaining of an incident that happened with my order processed online through Nordstrom Rack. The order was processed and confirmed on 2/28/19. Total of 6 items. 1 item was shipped and delivered on 3/1/19, with no problem. The remaining 5 items were schedule for delivery today 3/7/19 informed via email and tracking. This morning the status update showed the delivery was cancelled to return to sender??? I contacted Customer Service to be informed that items ordered were advertised with wrong pricing???(really all 5 items) If such a mistake on your part occurred, the purchase should not have confirmed and shipped out, especially since the order had reached the city of destination already. The transaction should have been honored. This is bad customer service and I will be taking my business elsewhere with a more trustworthy business ethics.

Ordered a dress online for my sister in law’s wedding. They not only sent me a dress 6 sizes off from what I ordered but they sent it in petite instead of regular. The day I received the shipment I checked online and they were out of my size. When I called all they were willing to do was send me a free return label and say they’ll waive the shipping fee on my next order with them. I feel like there should be at least SOME compensation for a complete error on their part, especially when they’ve run out of the inventory that they wrongly shipped. Terrible way to deal with customers.

There was a time I'd say I love NordRack, despite the ridiculous $100 minimum to get free shipping, but then this happened with my last order... One of the dresses I received had no tags in it, which I thought, Ew, this has been worn, but it smelled new and it fit and is cute and comfortable, so I planned on keeping it. However, that same night I saw it on the website for FOURTEEN dollars less! The customer service person said I should return it and re-purchase it -- yeah, how convenient for them that I have to spend another $100 to get free shipping or pay for shipping and then making the exchange isn't worth it. And I don't even know if they'd accept the exchange with no tags since we got "disconnected" before I could ask that part of the question. What a ripoff. I'll take my hundreds of dollars of purchases per year to all the other online sellers.

This was once my favorite store. The prices were great for the quality of the goods. Now I feel that everything I buy has been marked up beyond its value to be marked down and sold. This is a time when you literally get what you pay for. No bargains here. And, they were hacked in August 2018 and I had to fi;d our from another website. I was never notified by Nordstrom.

Horrible customer service on returns. It’s been over 1 month and I still don’t have my credit back on my credit card. Customer service said they would contact me in 24 hours with an update. It’s been a week now and no contact. Sent and email to customer service and no reply either. I am beginning to wonder if I will ever get my refund money back.
