very unhappy with the hanley wardrobe and dressing table. recieved with parts missing, dirty and also filmsy. no quality checks carried out before it was shipped to me .

I've given one star for this purchase, as I recieved the wrong order. Instead of sketchers boots, i recieved a pair of Clark's boots. I'm not sure if it was a mistake with the codes or not. I was able to return without any problems & promptly recieved a refund into my account.

As always, Next delivery services keep on dissapointing... they never ever deliver on time and there is no proper option available to track your parcel. I am missing yesterdays delivery and the tracker information sais I was not home and a card was left? Hilarious, I was home all day and no card was left! I am also awaiting on an item purchased a month ago. Shameful!

Ordered a sofa back in December which was £1700. Next took TWO payments for sofa. They then took over a month to reimburse the payment. I am on maternity leave and struggling so this was horrendously stressful for my family. Terrible customer service!
Sofa was supposed to be delivered last weekend but they never arrived. They then lost the sofa in the warehouse and then wanted to deliver the feet of the sofa? What the actual hell is going on with next and their customer service?! They haven’t got a clue what they are doing. They are now making me wait 8 weeks for a new sofa as it had to be made from scratch again! I am disgusted!!!!!
I will be calling complaints first thing in the morning and cancelled the whole order as I am sickened that my hard earned money has gone to this greedy, thieving company.

I purchased the red star graphic jumper, no warning to wash before use, I now have a pink bra and pink vest top.
Do not regret buying the jumper but don't make the same mistake I did.

I genuinely cannot believe how amazing the staff are at Next directory are ..as, they (imparticular Sarah) seriously went out of her way to assist you, especially when errors occur on their part..but, we are all human & IT errors do occur!! The staff were extremely patient in resolving the IT issue, offered an a acceptable solution (another item at the same price as the item selected with free delivery.)...and could not have been more apologetic!
Excellent service & resolution, whereby your not made to feel like an inconvenience!!
NEXT DIRECTORY, please clone this lady & consider giving her a pay rise as, good staff are hard to come by...and she was exceptional !!

We bought a kitchen table and some chairs 2 years ago, we noticed a fault with some of the chairs. We called Next customer service and they sent out someone straight away.
A few days later Next called us to say they will replace all of the chairs 'free of charge' even though we picked some slightly more expensive ones.
Within a week they were replaced. Exceptional customer service.

Awful! I made an order and asked for delivery on the 11th. Get an email to say it has been delivered but it hasn't so I call customer service who then re order my item and for it to be collected from store. I get a confirmation on the 12th to say it is in store. I get a reminder email on the 16th and I have until the 22nd to collect. I go into the store today and I am told that the item was cancelled on the 11th!! How?!
I had a confirmation on the 12th and a reminder on the 16th! They now have none available and I cannot get the item I required. I call customer service for an explanation and I am told she can not give me a reason but she apologises. That is not good enough. Customer service should have done more to find the error and should have notified me prior to me going to the store. Customer services did advise me the item is in a store 50 miles away but they can not have it delivered to a local store. On this occasion they should have to rectify their mistake. Very disappointed.

Ordered PJ bottoms as part of an Xmas gift. Needless to say they did not arrive although I did get an email dated the 21st December informing me they would arrive in the next few days. Still not arrived (29th Jan) and so I contacted customer service to be told that they were a sale item and no longer in stock !! Not good enough considering if I order an alternative I will have to pay delivery costs which I had already paid as part of the previous order.

I’ve had my next online account for years. I find their products to be of good quality with a wide range of price points. Have never had any issues with the next day delivery always arrives when expected, also they sent me a handy little next card to use in store so I can take full advantage of sales and outlet stores charged to my account to pay monthly.

Absolutely terrible ordered a coat and waited for 2 weeks and no sine for the coat at all phoned next and they told me thrs a delayed and they will send me a new one and will arrive next day before 1 pm today and it is now nearly 3pm still no sign for the parcel defo not be shopping with you again NIGHTMARE!!!!

Website was easy to navigate, I had the product code which I admit made it really easy but I also found my item manually too. The payment and delivery to a store of my choice was easy and speedy. I tried my product on in the shop with no fuss.

Ordered a lamp, paid for a slot but it never arrived. Rearranged a delivery which they failed to do again another three times.
Still waiting for a refund after 7 working days, called to ask for this back.
Staff told me they have sent a refund which is not true and I have to wait until after Christmas before they will even look at giving me a refund.
From this experience I would advise avoid them at all costs.

Shopping on Next online for sale items has to be the biggest waste of your time! You spend ages looking through items, putting them in the basket and then it tells you at the end that they are sold out. How can a large company like this not have the software to remove the items when they are sold out. Or at least say it on the item like other stores do!

I didnt receive a refund for a returned item back in October, after contacting Next customer service and having to take screenshots of my bank account to prove I wasnt lying?!, I was told someone from the banking team would be in touch within seven working days. Six weeks later and have heard nothing, when emailing the customer service team, a different person who doesn't have a clue about you or your issue replies each time. I rung up at the beginning of December and was told on the phone they would process a refund that day, couldnt understand why this didnt happen sooner but still.. a week later still no refund, I ring back to be told possibly a mistake was made and they will issue it again. A week later and still nothing. I was actually considering just leaving it and seeing how long it takes for them to ever contact me again, as I've got the feeling it would be never they are so useless.
So Next, dont make promises to your customers and then let them down again and again.

This review is specifically about Next Home. I ordered a sofa in August, being reassured by the woman in the store it would arrive within 12 weeks (late November). Instead of notifying me in advance my sofa would be delayed, each week they have sent me a letter pushing the delivery back a further week. They did not have the decency to phone me. My sofa is now apparently not going to arrive till January. They have given me no explanation as to why this has happened and continue to push my delivery date further back. I would not recommend anyone to order such a large important item from next as they have been very unhelpful and left me in the lurch. I would recommend you buy your sofa else where as they do not seem to care about your order. The only saving grace was the polite staff at their call centres - however they still offered me no help.

I have recently moved to a new place and have been anticipating the Boxing Day sales. It’s my first time at Next Home and there were a few items that caught my attention, including the wooden garden bench which was on sale. My family and I took a seat, just to try out and to decide which other items to get which would go with the colour of the oak wood bench (However, we were rudely told off by a lady staff (instead of offering us some help with our decisions), in the middle of the crowd to leave as if we were just misusing the bench. Thanks for helping us to make a decision and save some pounds and definitely this will be my first and last time at Next Meadowhall. Probably off to another home store with better customer service and less of dramatic staff with post holiday blues. (Would recommend Trip Advisor to allow us to give 0 star as 1 star is definitely too much for such non existent customer service at Next).
