Poor quality of ink. Placed an order for pens and within 3 months the ink has dried out within them. I have given these pens to my customers and they have all complained that they only work for 2 minutes. I contacted them, and I never even got a response back.
Not only is their customer service lacking so is their products.
Now I even look bad handing out an inferior product!!

I ordered pens from national Pen Company with the requested information to be printed on the pens.When the pens were delivered the information was not correct i called the the company when they are admitted their mistake . they told me they will send second set of pens with correct information and pay for it and they told they will waive the first payment because it was their mistake so i paid the due payment of the second set of pens. after receiving the payment they asked me to pay for the first set of pens which were wrong I spoke to them and refused to pay the first pay the payment so they send to the collection agency so you decideis it good service

This company is run by scam artists!! I placed my first July 2019 and it was easy. I placed it online, designed the tote bags, paid and received my order. The bags arrived and were nice even though I noticed that I ordered 100 bags but only received 98.
I ordered again in August 2019 and when I placed the order online they were now charging me an extra $25 that they didn't charge me on the first order I somehow got a coupon code and removed that charge. I placed the order and paid via PayPal. I then called and wanted to place another other but they said why don't you just add it to your existing order. I thought wow they are being thoughtful. Well the not so smart representative didn't realize that I had already paid via paypal and over charged me by $143!! It took a week to resolve the issue but the money was refunded (after having to explain my situation 10 times to ten different people!) When I received the order of 200 totes i was short 5 totes and the bags had ink stains on the handles and in places they shouldn't have had ink on.
Like someone who just doesn't think I place a third order. Shame on me!! All of my orders were REORDERS yet they kept botching up the specs. I wanted double sided printing and placed this order over the phone. I told the rep repeatedly that I wanted double sided printing yet the bags arrived with one sided printing!!
NEVER AGAIN!!! STAY AWAY FROM THESE MORONS!!!!!!!!!

Literally the worst experience I've had with online retail.
Horrible delay in communication.
Horrible transfer of creative to the product (got branded pens).
AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
Everything has been painful - I recommend looking elsewhere for your branded product, do not let the credibility of the website or name fool you.

I would never order from this company again, given the poor customer service and painfully slow production times. Ordered August 28th and recieved Sept 18th. Paid for the fastest shipping possible, yet it took almost a month to make 500 cheap, basic pens. Look elsewhere.

We have been in business since 1956 and have alot of advertising companies approach us with different types of offers and have to say I have been working with Cassie Bowers for a few years and absolutely love her customer service! We have ordered everything from pens, to flashlight key chains, to shirts and sweatshirts, the quality has been wonderful and the prices cant be beat! Highly recommend National Pen!

This is a true story...
This company deserve to be closed by the relevant authority.
1) I visited their website, read through and I thought 'good' I can order customize pen here.
2) Placed an order. Website information stated 10 days I will have my order.
3) After 10 days when I didn't see my order I called - it was as miserable as anything. The customer service I spoke to said she doesn't know why my order was not processed. Can I speak to a supervisor or a manager or the person in the production department? - SHE SAID NO. SHE THEN HANGS THE PHONE WHILE I WAS STILL TALKING.
I called again - they now promised to deliver. I told them when I would need it unfailing, they said it's okay.
And I waited and waited and waited - nothing came in.
4) After 23 days I called and they said 'your order has been cancelled'. But WHY. No explanation was given.
I missed my project deadline, disappointed a lot of people...
I have never had such an experience in my entire life.
NATIONAL PEN UK, WEBSITE, EU, USA ALL ARE THE SAME: SCAM AND FRAUD.

I have used national pen a couple times now, and so far have liked their products. I placed an order recently that I had put the wrong phone number on. That is completely my fault. I understand that.
But upon calling customer service, before the item shipped, I was told there was nothing that they could do because it was ready to be shipped. Not shipped mind you, ready to be shipped. I was told, just call back once I receive them. Why would it be different once I received them? I cant use them. The agent could not possibly have cared less.
I have been understanding with my orders in the past when some of the pens were not functioning or were broken upon arrival, but as soon as I am the one to make a mistake customer care seemed to have absolutely zero care.
Chances are I'll be finding a new company to go through due to the customer service alone unless I can get them to work with me. Customer service wants a chance to make it right when they mess up, but dont bother asking for the same respect as a small business owner if you make the mistake.

Never order this star magnet... there is no common sense applied by anyone handling an order at the company level...I ordered these magnets as a promotional item at a cost of $175.00...the print was so small you would need a magnifying glass to read, they agreed to redo, reducing the amount of printing on the "star"....said they could not turn the star to make the printing larger..sent an approval email with a larger star than the actual product.....no common sense at all. Wasted money, will never order from this company again....can't use this item, it would be embarrassing to hand to anyone. Totally disappointed

National Pen does not contact customers when the product is not available. They never made an attempt to notify me and I only found out three weeks after placing the order, although I had contacted them a week earlier. They were also clueless on when the the product would be available to ship. Why send customers promotions when they are not available? I order other promotional items from another source and received them in less than two weeks, with no issues. I would NOT order from this company ever again!

Placed order for $55.71, bill I received was for $94.65. Watch out, they double the cost of what they sell you. Do not order unless you want to pay double what your confirmation order says. Look out for the small print, it doubles your order

I waited over a month for an order. After 5 weeks of waiting I called to find out what the hold up was and they told me that 2 of the colors in our assortment were on back order for 3 more weeks. They have great pricing but our office can't afford 8 weeks of wait time. I feel also that they should notify customers when there is a delay rather than the customer having to call and find out what the hold up is. Its a shame because we had planned to purchase these pens regularly.

Consumers...Beware of this Company!! I received a promotional mailing for pens. I placed my order online. I was informed of the setup fee for $19.95. However, when I completed the order I noticed a delivery fee for 29.99. I called to cancel my order the next day and was transferred to a sales representative. She asked why I wanted to cancel and offered to waive the setup fee. I told her that was fair and I would like to proceed with my order. The order was placed on 9/26, so I called for a status. I was told by Janet the order had been cancelled. Again, I was transferred to sales. I didn't get the name of salesperson, because he did not speak clearly. He proceeded to tell me I cancelled the order and National Pen did nothing wrong. He went onto say that I could place the order today, but he wouldn't be able to waive the setup fee. He said that was a one-time offer. I took the offer on the 26th and they made the error. He then said, You can cancelled the order. We didn't do anything wrong"! He then offered to give me $10 off of the shipping cost. Who in their right mind is going to do business with an organization that allows this type of behavior. I hope his boss reads this....

I spoke to customer service rep in plenty of time for my event before placing my order online. They assured me that if I paid the extra money for the 3 day delivery that my pens would get delivered on time. So I placed order and not only did I not receive my pens when they said I would, I received an email several days later saying the order was on hold because they did not receive my logo which I uploaded. And then proceed to tell me that they will not be able to get me the pens on time. I am not just 3 days from my event and now in even more stress to try and now find another company to make these pens for this event on time because of this company. If I would have known they would fail to do their service, I would have had at least more time to get a company that would deliver on time. Now my event may not have this item at all because of this company. DO NOT USE THEM unless you want to risk you not having what you need.

Totally disappointed with our order and will absolutely never order from here again! When placing the order the information said that we would be receiving our order on or before August the 5. This information convinced me to order from pens.com. We needed the items no later than August 8, as we were handing them out at our back to school night that evening. On August 7, we had received an email confirmation, and an email asking us to rate our order, but no shipping confirmation. We called the company and were told they were so busy they hadn’t even finished the product. The order finally arrived on August 14, approximately a week too late for our event. Therefore our Lions club, spent almost $200 on a product that arrived too late to distribute. Our organization works hard to raise money and help the people of our community. We definitely feel cheated when we spend money and the product arrives practically a week too late. Never again.

Received a sample of calendar magnet with lodge name. Ordered 125 more and they arrived with my name on them. Was only offered a 10% credit to reorder to get the order as it should have been done originally.
Company called within 15 min of posting a negative review. They reviewed the order and saw the order went directly to factory with wrong information, They are making the correct order for no additional charge,

Every single one of these negative reviews is accurate because I just got off the phone with shotty customer service who gives no straight answer about what happened to my order that was placed well over 3 weeks ago . How long does it take to print some words on a basic pen? Also rep could not give straight answer about their cancellation policy?! Bogus to say the least! Stay away

I am very disappointed with your company. I originally placed a pen order on August 17. I needed the pens for a conference starting October 1 in St. Louis Mo. I placed the order with plenty of time. When the pens never came I called back. On Sept 23 customer service cancelled the order and issued a new order which they assured me would arrive no later than Sept 30. UPS was showing that they never picked up the package. I called National pen Numerous times trying to get a resolution. The last young lady I talked to said she was just helping in Customer service because they were so busy and did not know what to do. She said she would have someone call me back. No one ever called. It amazes me that National Pen can not make and deliver an order of pens in 44 days.
This has been a waste of time and money. Non Profits can not afford these kinds of losses.The communication from their company is horrible. I still do not have the Pens

I ordered pens about a week ago. I have not received them yet, so I can’t comment on the quality of their product. Since ordering, I have received several other offers including one for ‘free shipping’ through 9/4. Several days ago I asked for a quote on some personalized flashlight keychains I’d seen advertised on their site. Due to the time it took to finally get a quote emailed to me the free shipping offer expired. $30 to ship 200 small flashlights is extreme. I cancelled the entire order. Next time I need promotional items I’ll shop local instead.

I ordered cups & pens on August 16th & 17th. My cups came within a week or so, but my pens never arrived (week after cups). I called & was told that he see where my ordered was placed & asked when was my event, I told him Saturday (today is Tuesday). He asked if he could call me back. I called back after work & was told that my pens were on back order & would be in NEXT WEEK or SO & the only pen colors they had were PINK, GREEN & ORANGE. I asked her when were they gonna inform me, her reply was "We were about to send emails out"🤦♀️🤦♀️. NEVER WILL I ORDER FROM HERE AGAIN, because they acted like it was NO BIG DEAL.. No kinda redemy.

I will not order from this company again. Their online ordering process is deceptive as they do not collect credit card info to place the order. I was processing an order to get a total (including tax & shipping) for management approval before I got there I receive a "thank you for your order" screen. I backed out and went about my day. I thought because I had not given them payment info, my order had not been processed. A couple of days later I received an email telling me your order has shipped. I immediately called them and was informed that there was nothing they could do because the pens had already shipped. When the pens arrived there was an invoice included; when I called again to send them back, there was a restocking fee, and I was supposed to pay for return shipping. Nowhere in the ordering process did I see that this was their process. Every e-commerce site I have ever bought anything from asked for payment information before processing the order. I'll bet I am not the first person who has been deceived into placing an order by this process. I finally just paid the bill to get them off my back.
