Once again there was something wrong with my delivery..once again myus dodging insurance...the insurance i had to pay !! cost alot more than my claim.. they advertise best of care..thats BS. the tear open every parcell to check for ??? then dont re-seal them.well ill be contacting my bank- again.. and dispuiting the whole shipment cost based on SERVICE NOT AS DESCRIBED .. Im sure they 'get things right sometimes.. understand ppl are happy besed on that sometimes..but my experience over about 4 shipments is frustrating and timely dispuiting bank charges. Ive not found another satisfactory company..all fraudsters/scammers as far as im concerned..its just a risky thing to do.. what a $#*! world we live in now days..big co's just do what they want and dont give a damn.. banks, telcos, utilities..and ...shipping co's too. photo show package torn & not resealed..ah..cant upload pic

I personally don't believe any of these 5 star reviews. I have spent lots of time arguing with this company to try to get them to ship various packages to my address in Thailand. Example: They stopped a shipment due to their internal policy about address formatting (!), saying the address I entered and which they accepted as valid initially violated their policy, which they claimed was due to FedEx's rules. I know this is false because FedEx manages to deliver to my address all the time. After several emails full of arguing, they were magically able to make my address work with their system anyhow, which by the way confirms that it was not FedEx's fault. They were very inflexible, obtuse and brusque the whole time. And then on the very next package, they again complained about the exact same address which worked on the previous shipment. Again I had to go round and round with them about the exact same thing.
The latest debacle was a hold placed on a package and an $8 fee because the merchant did not put the full suite number on the address. It had my name on it and most of the suite number so they were able to see it was me, which I know because they sent an email saying they will charge me $8 for violating their policy.
Maybe I'm nitpicking but did they even say "We're so sorry for your inconvenience, we made a mistake?" Nope, they don't even say that. They just argue. This is typical communication from them. They do answer emails quickly to their credit. But their replies are usually bureaucratic and there is no sense of humanity. It's like the DMV. I dread talking with them.
I'm just spending my time on this complaint because someone needs to call them out and publicly point a finger at them or they will think everything is fine. For now, I'd recommend to try another service first if you can find one.

I was sending deodorant and lotion to Angola and found out deodorant and perfume cannot be sent due to regulations.
I was told that to remove the deodorant "split the order" is $15. How are you charged $15 for simply getting a deodorant out of a bag?
Abigael was great help but I the charge to pick a deodorant out of a bag made no sense.

Live chat used to work. Now their system pushes you onto an email for your issue. Currently no return receipts with a ref no. arriving in mail box so no reference to quote back. Replies very slow.

Louther was the one who helped me. At first when I mentioned that I want to add a package to my currently being processed shipment, she immediately saying the shipment has already been packed and I couldn't add any package. Then I told her the shipment is still being processed and she double check and somehow at the end can add the package to the shipment. My suggestion for her is that she can check better before she replied to customer to provide the best service. Still appreciate her help but definitely can provide a better service to the client in the first place.

They customer service is absolutely awful. I have tried 5 times to connect via chat - I have never ben connected. The chat simple isn't manned.
You can't call and speak to someone, all you can do is leave a voicemail. I did and nobody has called back in a week.
I sent an email and didn't get a response.
I was also surprised that I was told my laptop's weight was 10.1 pounds. Amazon says 6 pounds. I agree that there is the charger and some packing but that seems to quiet a difference.
The price still seams reasonable, but my stuff still hasn't been delivered because I think they need an invoice for the country the computer has arrived in. But there doesn't seem to be any clear communication on this - and why wouldn't they ask me for an invoice originally and of course I can't clear it up because of the non-existent customer service. I will be happy to pay more for a service where I can speak to someone.

I'm a long-time lurker, first time user of MyUS.com... After years of checking the site-out, i took a dive and ordered 5lbs' worth of shirt/hats from Amazon (US)... I got hit with a $98.- FedEx shipping bill to France, storage fees AND when trying to add a credit card (which it accepted), the site declined payment... The card is in good standing, I had it verified by the site as well, yet it won't go through... There is absolutely nothing wrong with the CC, there is plenty of funds on it...
How do I get hit with a $100.- shipping bill for textile, hats, a light book using the CHEAPEST shipping option available
Why isn't there ANYONE to answer the chat windown (Help) during business hours, although you clearly mention it to be available 24/7?
This experience is SUPER FRUSTRATING, I feel milked... Too bad, I feel I've been had, it won't happen again MyUS.com...

Meanwhile, I get hit by more daily storage fees, great...

was not what i was expected in terms of payment, i asked to be the chep, but they Chose DHL which is much more expensive than the things that were purchased, it was my first time and I am not happy with this situation. And with money that I was charged i could buy much more, then with the situation in Angola the cards are not always loaded. Is very sad, and because I do not know how to use well and not notice many things, time has passed and things have taken a long time to arrive, we will see if they will be here tomorrow and if it will be worth it. Otherwise it's okay. I hope everything is simpler in the future.

It takes forever to connect to their agents and their agents are incredibly slow in responding.
Inaccurate package information being updated on packages, I pointed it out clearly based on the Amazon shopping page, the weight was updated as 114 lbs whereas it was 74 lbs clearly mentioned on Amazon as shipping weight. I can understand a couple of pounds plus/minus, but a whooping 40 lbs is too much.
Also, before shipping a TV to them, I asked their customer care agent if it would be fine to ship it to Japan, and they assured me it would be fine and now they claim that they need to pass it through some sort of Magnetic Review Process, as the TV contains a magnet. If there was such a process, why isn't there any thing mentioned on FAQs.
Even if a percent chance exists that its rejected during this process, I might me looking at a potential loss of a lot of money.

I was thrilled to learn of MyUS as I saw it as a means of obtaining US products that would otherwise be unavailable for me here in the UK. However, your procedure is ambiguous and card verification process flawed. Despite my following your instructions, the system failed repeatedly and I was forced to rely on a customer service process that is clearly a 'box-ticking' exercise that fails to achieve its primary objective. Issuing an automated email directing customers to a web FAQs page that does not include the required solution is no help at all - rather it is a poor cop-out on the part of your company. Only through the diligence and tenacity of a member of your staff (Lovely) was a solution eventually achieved, after 14 days - too late to obtain the required product for my son's birthday.

I asked shipping date of package. We asked them to ship on Sep 5th.
It is already hold 2 days. So I asked to ship them today.
I know hurricane is coming in a couple of days. So it should have been shipped today. But he says it may be delayed because of hurricane.
I think he cannot do any thing. But I just asked to ship today as much as possible. But I want to know the exact shipping date.
Please just ship them as soon as possible.

They do ship on time but when it comes to cancelling the membership you will start having problems. I realized that I was still been charged the membership fee after canceling it 2 months ago. I had to contact customer support. it was the problem with their system but they denied to fully refund the extra charges they made to my credit card. they just refunded me the last month's membership fee. if i didn't check my credit card activities they would been continuing charging me monthly for the service that i have cancelled months ago...

I used to ship several times my goods to my country Angola using MyUs.com services with no problems until an error happed on MyUs.com immigrated new system on November 2015 which caused my shipment got sent to a wrong address losing all my money without refund.
My shipping setting default was from USA to Angola on the previews MyUs system. just to remember that the preview shipment I did was to Angola and not USA. I do not know what really happened to got my profile settings changed.
On 21-Nov-2015, I received a email from MyUs saying that my shipment was ready to be sent to the below address on 23-Nov-2015 which should be a business day:
At the same time I called MyUs explaining that was a wrong address for my shipment. it has to be stopped ASAP. I called MyUs folks and they said the could stop it. not being convinced, I called FedEx explaining them what was happening and I needed their help to stop the shipment. after 4 days of calls and and lot of emails sent to MyUS, No one was able to help me. I lost all of my Items estimated with the cost of $ 1,146.94(that was for berth of my daughter that was expecting for December-2015) I lost everything and MyUs didn't do nothing about it at all.
I sent lot of emails to this address owner, no answer was given even FedEx was not able to bring back the package.
I had to buy all over again and ship them before my daughter birth. therefore, some other products had to be left beyond due to the short time I had.
Starting on December 2015, our visa cards was restricted to be used online or outside the country due to lack dollars and some other issues with the government. I was not able to ship my other products that is at MyUs due to those restriction. I explained to MyUs this issue but they did not care about it and they still charging me every single day even sending them lot of emails.
At least, my case could be analyzed and see what could be done. really I am not happy with MyUs at this point. when you have a problem, they don't want care about you.

I have had 3 deliveries from Amazon to my suite. My account only reflects one delivery. How do I find out where the other stuff is? I have spent a whole 2 hours trying to get through to their live chat, no luck. It keeps just kicking me out. So frustrating.

This is my second shipment using MyUs and that's only because some items were not available at the time of my first shipment, so the merchants sent them later. The orders were handled promptly and email responses were answered promptly. However, it is far too expensive for me to use MyUs to ship to the Cayman Islands (I don't know if it's cheaper to ship to other countries). Example: I have 3 packages with a combined weight of 3.9 lbs, combined value of $34 and the shipping cost is $55 - that's more than the cost of the items and these items weight only 3 lbs so they're not heavy. That doesn't make sense to me so I will have to use an alternative.
I do like all the features offered but it really adds up - there's a charge for everything including photos, bubble-wrap, even fragile stickers. This would be great if it was a lot cheaper.

Used to be good. Just resigned up again. Was charged $55 USD to ship a small parcel and one week later it shows as still in transit. For that shipping price I would expect delivery within 5 days maximum. Seems they are now shipping with cheap carriers (ATS and Australia Post) rather than FEDEX or DHL which is much better. I'm cancelling my membership.

I've used this company for over 8 years, and noticed in last 2 years a rapid deterioration in their service. Here's why I wouldn't recommend them now:
1. Prices are rounded up to nearest pound. Therefore, if I have a 0.10 lbs item, its shipped out as a 1lbs item ... big price difference.
2. They take a day or more sometimes to "clear" an item and have it listed in your mailbox. They will still charge you storage fees on your other items even though delays are THEIR fault/caused by them.
3. Several times now I have had them enter an INCORRECT tracking number and even listed a non-existent erroneous shipper. Using their "online chat" help was useless. Guy just said tracking number was difficult to find, so I couldn't track my parcel (After saying a tracking number was too hard to get from their shipper ... he just ignored my message after I asked him for a working tracking number. After waiting 10 minutes for a response I hung up).
Yeah ... great lousy customer service at a premium price. Finding another site to use now.
