Travel in India is said to often be stressful - there is so much going on. But not so with Sachin and his team! His planning is extensive and seemingly flawless. His personality and those of his guides and drivers make the trip so interesting - you learn not only about birds and wildlife but many insights into the diverse culture and geography of Incredible India. Whether this is your first trip to India or if you are a frequent traveler there, it's a great experience!

Traveling to India with Sachin was a special experience. The birds were the attraction, but the trip was so much more than birding. We experienced the big city, the countryside, the wildlife, the food and the people. Sachin took care of all lodging, food and travel and was mindful of each traveler’s special interests. Experienced local guides helped us find and identify the birds. My count was 147 species, of which 115 were life birds. All in all a very positive experience.

Thank you MowgliExpeditions for planning an incredible trip to East Africa for our family. Every detail was carefully planned, to give us a flavor of the region. Each park and accommodation was unique in it's own way, we all enjoyed it thoroughly. Surely an experience that our family will be talking about for years to come! A BIG shout out to the Mowgli team.

Enjoyed the trip to Tanzania, Africa. Awesome experience of seeing the animals in their natural habitats, highly recommend a trip to Africa. This was all inclusive with hotels, meals, transportation and tours everything was well organized and timed to see animals in each of the national parks. The lodges and the hospitality of the local staff was amazing.

I had an amazing trip of a lifetime with Sachin Aggarwal (Birds and Wildlife of India). From rural towns to huge cities, we saw many aspects of Indian culture. Incredible views of wildlife including elephants, jackals, and mongoose. I saw 144 species of birds and especially loved the drongos, barbets, and hornbills. And the woodpeckers! And the kingfishers! Everything was great, from the local food, to the lodges, and all the National Parks. I look forward to traveling with Sachin to Africa some day!

Upon reading the itinerary for the November Birding and Wildlife trip to India, it became clear to me this trip was not to be missed. Rightly so, Sachin Aggarwal of Mowgli Expeditions delivered the goods! The all-inclusive trip allowed our group to relax and enjoy the ride - sightseeing, dining, hiking and birding delightful habitat, comfy accommodations as described, travel by plane, boat and train accompanied by friendly local birding guides and naturalists. Best birding ever! Sachin keeps his thinking hat on and goes the extra mile to make everything happen and everyone comfortable. Lovely India, I hope to return.

Sachin is the owner.
We were a group of 8 people going to India for wildlife, birds, culture and food.
I went ahead of the group to Delhi and Agra.
Sachin called to advise me about the region, even though I was not doing this part with him. We went mostly to southern India to visit NP. Everything went smooth and Sachin made sure we were happy and safe. With him we had opportunities to visit local restaurants, botanical gardens, and see how the locals live their life. I felt safe and enjoyed this trip very much. I will certainly return to India.
Thank you Sachin!!!

The trip to Southern India was more than I ever expected. Each day was packed full of trips to national parks/preserves, boat rides, gardens and constant birdwatching opportunities. The guides in each locale were excellent. About 153 species of birds were identified along with many mammals including Indian elephant and Bengal tiger.
This trip was amazing. Sachin insured that each element of the trip -from cities to villages to forests to safari, provided exciting and memorable life-long experiences. Sachin is the "Accent on Adventure." His enthusiasm makes the trip a success!

Our trip to Rwanda and Uganda started off with a lot of excitement. This isn't your usual East Africa trip - after all we were going to trek through dense forest scouting for mountain Gorillas - the highlight of the trip. It lived up to every wild expectation we had minus Tarzan.
We started our travels in Kigali - Rwanda is a beautiful country, clean, and her people are friendly to a fault. It's a country that is shaking off its dark past of genocide. I wish them the very best! Do visit the Genocide Memorial - we all can learn a lot from that dark past.
Day 1 - Golden Monkeys at Virunga. Mild trek through bamboo forest to view these beautiful creatures very up close. Stop on the way when you see sugarcane and chew on it the old fashioned way.
Day 2 - Bwindi Impenetrable Forest - and trust me it IS!! It's about a 15 mile round trip to spend an hour with the Nkuringo family. For God's sake please don't ask if Gorilla's are "aggressive", "are they man-eaters" and the like. They are the most gentle beings I have seen. What a beautiful, tiring, beautiful, life-changing experience. There are 900, yes just 900 left in the wild!
Day 3 - Brief stop over at Kalinzu to spot Chimps (on the way to Queen Elizabeth National Park. We saw them right away, but they prefer to hang out waaay on top of the canopy. Still worthwhile.
Day 4 - Queen Elizabeth National Park - very large area, but not as prolific as the Maara. Evening boat tour down the Kazinga Channel was a dream. Spectacular. I recommend doing this twice in lieu of going inside the park.
Day 5 - Lake Mburo National Park. Rwakoko lodge is high up on a rocky hill - its a beautiful lodge. Night safari and next day morning bird walk were the highlights. We all wished we should have spent an extra day here. Watch out for baboons - these curious, naughty buggers will steal anything they can lay their hands on. One of them still has my wife-beater T-shirt!
Day 6 - Loooong drive to Jinja - the source of the Nile. To be honest the drive was very tiring - especially after the first 5 days where we spent a lot of time amongst nature. En route you can stop by the Equator and take those selfies!! Also don't hesitate to try the local banana hooch, or the sweet bananas themselves. Jinja is a busy, dusty town - go there if you are into white water rafting, or would like a quite kayak down the river. Very nice experience - but be prepared for a long drive.
Why Mowgli? Personalized touch, attention to a lot of detail. Sachin is very passionate about what he does and it shows. He'll go out of his way to make your experience a great one. Don't even hesitate. Ask and he will tailor a trip you will cherish.

Uganda and Rwanda are not second tier safari destinations if you know what you are looking for and this is exactly where Mowgli Expeditions helped. The focus of this safari was to see primates up close and personal and Mowgli once again did an awesome job in making this trip memorable. We were able to view golden monkeys, colobus monkeys, vervet monkeys, red-tailed monkeys, baboons, and mountain gorillas. Observing a troop of golden monkeys going about their daily life in Rwanda and having mountain gorillas almost brush past you in Bwindi National Park in Uganda - these are once in a lifetime experiences. I never expected Rwanda to be an absolute jewel. The only thing people have read about Rwanda is the genocide that occurred there. 24 years have passed and now Rwanda is a spectacularly clean and well managed country, the people are peaceful and dignified, the weather is wonderful and we did not see a single pot hole all through our road trip there! The grand finale of the trip was a 2-day white water rafting experience in the river Nile in Jinja which is one of the sources of the Nile (Blue Nile) and 2 hours from Entebbe airport in Uganda.
Writing this brings back so many wonderful memories. Once again, Mowgli pulled off an awesome all-inclusive trip that included pick-up/drop-off from all airports, all ground transportation in the form of a spacious and sometimes temperamental Landcruiser which was entertaining in itself, charted out a well-thought out itinerary, picked unique and comfortable lodges and camps, ensured most of our individual needs were catered to, and above all made sure we had another unforgettable trip - all within an affordable budget. Looking forward to my third trip with Mowgli - perhaps a road trip in Namibia combined with a self-drive safari in Kruger!

This was probably the best vacation our family of four (mom, dad and boys aged 17 &13) have been on. Sachin at Mowgli Expeditions was really knowledgeable about the area and came across as a Kenya safari expert. He gave us great suggestions and made sure he delivered on all of our requests. Everything went smoothly on our nine day trip which is a testament to his attention to detail.
We were enthralled by the amazing sights we saw on safari- the sheer, rugged beauty and size of the Savannah that is home to so many incredible animals big and small. Again, we were very thankful for our expert guide and driver whose stories and commentary added to the excitement of the experience.
Mowgli Expeditions also did an awesome job on our accommodations - all top notch!
The best things in life are the people we love, the places we visit and the memories we make along the way........Thanks Sachin and Mowgli Expeditions for the unforgettable memories.......

My trip to Kenya over the summer was nothing short of incredible! Mowgli expeditions found beautiful and authentic places to best experience the African wilderness. We had the wonderful opportunity to see members of the Masaai tribe create jewelry, and see some amazing sightings of Elephants, herds of Zebra, and Lions. I would highly recommend Kenya, and Mowgli expeditions, to anyone.

I traveled to Kenya with Mowgli Expeditions to see the wildlife and ride on safaris. The trip was amazing to say the least. Not only did our family see the diverse wildlife, but also encountered the diverse African culture. We visited places which we would have not been able to if it were not for Mowgli Expeditions. Our family truly felt like we received an authentic and fun experience. Whether it be staying in luxury tents in the heart of the Masai Mara or watching a pride of lions wandering no more than 10 feet from our vehicle, the trip was always filled with fun events. While I was skeptical about the safety of the area, the trip was very professional and I felt safe where ever we went. I would definitely recommend Mowgli Expeditions to any adventure seeking family who wants to have some fun.

If it is a sea-faring adventure that you are looking for, look no further. The sailing trip organized by Mowgli Expeditions is sure to create life-long memories and friendships, and is certainly unforgettable. Sachin, the CEO and Chiefl Adventurer of Mowgli expeditions, personally curates each trip to ensure that it delivers on the promise and is supremely cost effective - and this trip certainly does. Some of the indelible memories for me on the trip were catching barracuda as we trailed lines behind the boat as we sailed [and seeing the local custom of humanely dispatching the fish with rum down its throat!]; amazing marine life on the six different spots we snorkeled in [including swimming with the Dolphins and seeing manta rays]; seeing frigate birds nesting in their own little paradise island; capturing glimpses of elusive manatees. And of course, the crew on the boat were fun-loving and always willing to go the extra mile to make it a fun trip.
A note of caution though: make sure that you carry wet wipes and be prepared for some basic toilet and shower facilities when you are camping on rendezvous caye.
Life is defined by memorable moments, and this trip certainly delivered in spades!

Thank you Mowgli expeditions for a great time in Belize on the sailing trip. Not having to worry about any of the logistics and just showing up at the right place right time made it so much more relaxed for me.
The highlights of the trip for me were the interactions with other folks in the catamaran, the amazing fresh caught food for dinner :-) and getting a perspective into the life of the local staff on the trip, seeing dolphins on one of the many snorkelling sojourns ... and of course, just being able to relax and chill.
Would love to do this and more adventures ... cheers!
