Monkton elm is a great garden centre and as far as I am aware family owned, it was always a great place for food but the last 3 times we have been for breakfast the food was very poor. Hot food is not rocket science but it seems to be difficult for the kitchen, all three times the food except for the eggs was cold, not even warm. We also asked for the black pudding to be taken off and an extra slice of bacon which we were charged £1.29, all in all very poor but we know you can do better. You are a local business dealing with mostly local people , loyal people as we are but as of today you have lost our business. I doubt you care and that’s the problem. It’s not all about cost .

Restaurant very expensive and portion sizes too small, but the garden centre is fantastic would love to see more in the pet centre

Anyone going to 2018 Santa's grotto, don't bother. Not as good as last year and double charged me on cost also. No reply to email and that was couple of weeks ago. Still owed money.
