With reference to my booking for bus trip on 12 October 2019 through Make of My Trip, I had booked for an upper berth seat (Seat no: 21). However, when I approached the Shiridi Hans Travels (Near hotel Kala Sai complex) at the boarding, the agent (Mr. Girish Bagul) told me that I have to sit in the lower berth seat. I showed the booking details from make my trip (MMT) as upper berth, however, he shouted at me saying that he does not want to listen anything on this. I was not sure whether it was a mistake from the Hans Travels or MMT or wrong input data given by Hans Travels to MMT? I kept quite assuming the possible mistake of MMT. I asked him (Mr. Girish Bagul) about the arrival status of bus and he said that the bus will come late by 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, when I enquired about the bus status, he rudely said that the bus will come late by 1 hour 30 minutes. When he replied rudely with hatred words, I said him that you should regret for the delay and should not shout at me. After that he run towards me out from his seat, tried to attack me, and threatened I will not allow you to board in the bus if I wish so' and don't speak in English and I will kick out from here'. Looking into the grave situation, I thought I should take the help from the court of law and told him that I will call to the police if he attacks. He did not care and said that you go to the police and used uncivilised abusive words. I strongly realised that he (Girish Bagul from Hans Travels, Shiridi) is an uncivilised local goon and does have no respect, no ethics, and shown tendency to commit crime with no hesitation. In this unsafe situation, somehow, I could connect and explain to MMT and requested help to cancel my ticket to come out of danger. However, MMT valued the business as the priority and requested me to go in the bus without realising the potential threat from this local goon. I am not blaming any individuals of MMT as you do your job as per the MMT rules and regulation. It's a kind of system that makes the passenger silence and helps the tormentor to abuse and exploit the customer. Today I am the sufferer. And, tomorrow, you/your family would be the one to suffer, I am sure of. It's a strange society we live in and keep tolerating the abuse from the uncivilised goons. I appeal to make a strong case against Girish Bagul (Hans Travels, Shiridi) by cancelling his agreement with MMT so that no passengers in future will suffer such dangerous situation. Waiting for your necessary action from MMT in this regard.

Total Scam. They charged me over $200 for a bogus reservation. When I called the hotel I was told there was no reservation made for me. The hotel representative also told me they were experiencing a great number of guests coming in to stay at the hotel that did not have reservations because they were booked through this MakeMyTrip.com. When you call to inquire about your reservation issue the customer service numbers don't work. They are not real. If you go to the website to cancel a reservation through the "cancel my reservation" link you will get an error message.

The cancellation fee displayed during the booking was misleading..the amount displayed was around 10k. however when i checked the cancellation option after booking, thst amount was displayed as cancellation fee per passenger per route..that would be 8x in my case or around 80k INR ( the ticket value was 100k inr) ..although i didnt have to cancel it, i can imagine what could have been the loss due to the misleading info. Please make sure that you do not provide such misleading info., otherwise the customer might feel cheated by such a popular website.

I hereby wish to inform you about the unpleasant experience we had during our Make my trip organised tour to Andaman and Nicobar. Please go through the following details of all the trials and tribulations we went through throughout our tour and the poor response we got from Make my trip guys Nandi and Hemant (based out of Delhi ? who were handling our itinerary during our tour) as well as the local operator Camp Deyor.
We had booked our tour through Makemytrip from your retail outlet. We had selected hotels at all venues almost two months in advance at the time we paid our full advance money for the tour.
On Day 1 (22nd Feb 2019) we landed at Port Blair and the guy who came to pick us up informed that the hotel that we had booked at Port Blair Sea Shell was somehow not available and we were supposed to go to Lush Green Resorts. The latter resort was 1 hour drive away from Port Blair and was not of the same quality as Sea shell resort we had booked. We had all along booked hotels with breakfast and dinner and at Lush Green we had to argue with the local guy about getting dinner as per our package. It was a disgusting experience arguing with a waiter kind of guy for something for which we had paid two months in advance.
After this miserable experience we thought the next few days would go according to plan because once one mistake is done the organisers would be careful about the no errors in next few days of the tour.
But on landing at Havelock on Day 2 (23rd Feb 2019) at the ferry station itself a nasty person by the name of Kumar (Rishi) who seems to be the local taxi operator confronted us and told us that we again did not have bookings at Sea shell which we had selected at the time of our booking. Instead we were booked at Coral Reef Resort for 3 days. Now it seems even after one bad experience at Port Blair the lessons were not learnt by those handling the tour and same mistake was (intentionally?) repeated and we did not get the hotel we had booked. Coral Reef again was far off from the jetty and the beach experience we wanted at Sea Shell was not available at Coral reef. Even mobile connectivity was very poor and WiFi service was extremely poor. (while booking Sea shell we did a lot of research in terms of reviews etc and had selected the hotel).
After 3 days stay at Havelock we were supposed to leave Havelock by morning ferry and on asking about the booking on earlier night we were informed by Mr Nandi that the ferry had been cancelled and we would be booked in the afternoon Makruzz ferry. On reaching the jetty at 2 pm to board the ferry we were informed again that tickets on Makruzz were not arranged and we had to travel by govt ferry. Now there is a huge difference in comfort of travelling in govt ferry and private ferry and we suffered extreme hardship during the ferry transportation and two of us suffered severe nausea and vomitting and had to take medicines and rest to come out of this horrible experience.
During the tour we had been promised a private taxi for 4 persons and all during the tour we had guys picking us up and leaving us at a venue and coming to pick us up with a lot of delay which wasted a lot of our time.
All in all it was a pretty disappointing and disgusting experience and we had our hopes for a peaceful and enjoyable vacation break dashed because of the inept handling of our tour by Makemytrip and Camp Deyor people. Me and my wife are doctors and Mr Rasikbhai and his wife are businesspersons and in the hope of a great experience we had booked through makemytrip but we had to suffer a lot of ignominy, insult and hardships during our tour which totally ruined our expectations of a good holiday and caused us a lot of stress and mental harassment inspite of no fault of ours.
I demand a refund of the money paid for our tour package as we had a totally unsatisfactory and nasty experience inspite of having paid the full amount of money many weeks in advance. If nothing is done about this I would be forced to consider legal alternatives to get compensation and would like to share this nasty experience given by Makemytrip and Camp Deyor on social media platforms.
Please look into this matter and do the needful at the earliest.

They receive a 2 star as first flight went smooth, second went horrible as when we needed help.. they where not there to provide ANY assistance. Even if we payed extra for insurance, flexible tickets etc. I would recommend a more trustworthy and reliable company that can actually help you when that time accrue.

I booked a car for a road trip from Delhi to Udaipur from 21 - 24 Aug 2019. First of all I ask them to provide me any xuv apart from Ertiga as I had a very bad experience the past. MMT ask me for 480 rs per night extra if I need other car, I agree to pay apart from the money which was for a car hire for 4 days. But at the end I still receive Ertiga car which was awful.
Secondly the cab driver was the worst person with lots of attitude he do his wish, stop where every he wants, Smoke inside the cab even though a baby was in the car, reckless driving, he did not even allow us to play our songs.
So, once I reach Udaipur I call MMT and complain about the issue and ask them to change the driver or provide us another car for return, still they did nothing. MMT being the biggest company and its a shame that they provide suck a poor service to the client. Not only I lost the money for the trip but it also made the worst trip for me and my family. I will never ever use MMT in my life and also ask my friends and family never to use MMT.

Very bad customer service. MakeMyTrip seems to have a bunch of frauds. I have suffered mental trauma because of them..they ruined my whole trip. I booked my honeymoon package 2 months before the date for Thailand and I was told that if I'll pay the amount through HDFC they will return 10% cashback after the trip is over. So I believed them. But after the trip when i asked for cashback they denied it completely.
n also during the trip, I was asked to pay the extra money for luggage that was not mentioned anywhere in the mail and that too in that baht.
The worst thing they have done is that just a day before my trip they asked me for extra money making some transport excuse and told me to cancel my trip if i don't want to pay... now seriously how can you people asked me to cancel my honeymoon trip just a day before.... for that i was planning from past 2 month. Please guys dont' relay on MMT for anything. Dont go behind their big name. MMT IS FRAUD...PATHETIC....LIARS...

I dont recomend it at all.I booked two bus tickets for my parents from delhi to maussouri .They cancelled the bus at last moment. Transfered my ticket to dehradun. That bus instead of going to dehradun went to haridwar first then rishikesh picked and dropped people along. All the inconvenience they caused to their anniversary trip is unforgivable. Total 5 hours of delay.

Make my trip or MMT as I had begun to call it as their loyal customer, managed to screw up so badly that I uninstalled their app twice! Yes, I gave them a second chance and they failed me twice!
Instance 1: In a landslide prone region where my Parents and I got stuck in bad weather overnight MMT with whom we booked a private tour package (which means the most premium with your own chauffeur driven car and an itinerary tailor made for you) failed to get us a room for the night in the town we departed from. We luckily had some cash set aside for shopping which we used to "buy" a shelter in local man's home. On raising this to customer service they said we "emailed" your reservation to you and the nearby hotel. How about calling us and saving our lives first?? Also whats amusing is they expected the remote town to have internet, electricity etc to receive the alternate booking when a natural calamity has hit them!
Instance 2: We booked my 5th Anniversary Thailand tour for 13 days with MMT, Agoda and Hotels.com. The trip got cancelled as my mother had to undergo an emergency operation. Hotels.com was the first to refund. Agoda was the first to respond but tried hard for my refund with the partner hotel and sent me proof that the hotel has denied the refund and not Agoda. They then gave me few credit $ and closed the case. But MMT kept harassing me by asking various detailed documents of my mothers condition and my presence with my mom. This was very disturbing but since the scale of booking with MMT was 80% vs the rest I went ahead and provided all details. The hotel I booked in Silom is known to me as my company books it frequently for me, they were not averse to refunding. MMT did not even try, moreover different customer service agents and auto generated emails filled my inbox and made the process so painful for me that I gave up. After 3 MONTHS they send me a mail today in July saying I was not reachable and they cannot refund.
DO NOT BOOK WITH MMT unless you have seen your future and have full confidence that nothing will go wrong.

Horrible experience: booked a hotel in Germany via MakeMyTrip.
One week prior the stay, I received a mail that the booking can't be confirmed (although I received already a voucher upon booking).
Tried to reach their customer care for 5 days (via phone: number not in Service, via mail: no Reply, via Chat: "we'll call you back" which never happened).
It seems I burned the money I paid MakeMyTrip for the non-confirmed hotel stay.
BTW, called the hotel directly. They didn't know about the booking.
