They overcharged my bank account €1200 for reneval policy.They told me: it was system fault.Have to wait very long time for refund.Phone contact totally uselles.Rang them many times and waited over 20mins without any answer.

Positives: Cheaper then VHI, Half decent web site
Negatives: Customer service is useless, multiple tier 1 support agents calling me about same claim having to re-explain what happened in the end i decided to pay the claim instead of having to deal with there customer support. been a customer for 3 year my plan didn't cover a simple procedure like wisdom tooth extraction in the local hospital

Diabolical experience - I have worked in customer service myself and would never dream of treating a customer as I have been treated with this company.
First they took my annual payment out of my account in one lump sum, and only after speaking to two other people did I get an apology from a third.
I asked to open a complaint with this and was told "you have my word it was done". No one has contacted me to put my mind at ease that this was a genuine mistake. Now I believe that this company is doing this with ease and not giving a care in the world to their customers.
I requested for a refund of the charge that was given to me by my bank and I was told 2 weeks ago it was on the way to me. Now I am being told it was only approved to be sent to me 3 days ago, less than 1 business day.
This service is atrocious and I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. They will steal your money and make you feel like it's your fault.

Tried to make two small claims but on each time they were rejected for reasons I still cannot understand. Seems that claims are rejected with the hope customers will just give up and pay themselves..
Was with VHI and Aviva in the past and never had tthe difficulties had with Laya.
Laya are cheaper but I have found it hard to get small claims approved so will go back to one of the others

Please be aware of their terrible and below standard claim procedures and inept customer service trying to resolve any issues relating to pursuing refunds. I am currently claiming for medical charges and have been told due to a former claim in the previous insurance year whereby I was overpaid by them the sum of €40 that this will be either deducted from current claim or to pay it back directly !!! What a great customer service "Looking after ourselves always" is their mantra
