To beat lack of sleep, the foremost thing you got to do is bringing sleep into your top priorities. When work pressures, stress and problems run behind you, it is obvious that your mind decides to sacrifice that day’s sleep. As this follows, sacrificing sleep becomes an everyday habit. In order to prevail over this habit, you got to bring sleep under the compulsory list of your day-to-day activity, just like brushing, bathing, eating and similar other activities which you do daily. Fix a unique time to go to bed. If you are working or owning some business, do not bring your office stress and works to home. Leave them all there itself. All you need to do before entering your bedroom is, throwing away your worries and pressures. Keep your mind free from other thoughts. Concentrate on some other thing, say watch a comedy clip, listen to music. Divert your thoughts. That is more important to get a peaceful sleep.

Praying and thanking god for the day, or reading some good quotes from bible or other books can rest your mind and body.
