We had James Frew GasSure recommended by family and have been disappointed with their lack of professionalism and their poor workmanship. We had a new boiler installed by them which was completed without any issues. There was some communication issues regarding the installation of a new thermostat which was resolved after numerous attempts to correct the issue.
We then had some new radiators installed at our property which took over 3 weeks to complete as the first few attempts at installation were unable to be carried out due to the poor preparation of their engineers. Once installed, the radiators had to then be removed and installed again as the first installation was carried out completely incorrectly. With the repeated attempts at installation, our hardwood flooring was damaged and filled in with poor quality rubber sealant which had ruined our flooring around the new radiators. Recently, one of these radiators started to leak and has caused our wood floors to rot. When contacted requesting someone to come and repair the radiators, they said they would call us back and failed to do so. They then told us that they would have to charge us for any repair despite their poor quality of installation.
I would not recommend James Frew or Gas Sure for any household work as we have had nothing but poor quality customer service and workmanship when dealing with them.

Thats three issues where the engineers have no problem solving ability and just skip over things when it suits them.
They will not be returning to my property!

just had heating engineer mark barrett attend my house as I had problem with boiler pressure sitting at zero,very helpful and he went around and done all checks to radiators to source the fault which he found and sorted,very informative and very professional manner,well done "JAMES FREW"

I've recently had a new heating system,fittd kitchen,bathroom I'm very pleased to say workmanship has been absolutely amazing would highly recommend use to friends and family.the workers were polite,helpful and also kept the place tidy ..well done ? guys especially the crew that had my four yr old asking loads of questions miss R Quinn oakwood avenue ayr

Over the past 5 years of having gas sure servicing my boiler yearly as most Link Housing tenants do. In 5 years I have had problems with no one turning up nowfor the second time at least I got a call at half 3 to inform me that he will be late and it may well be this evening. I have had warning letters from them about getting access and informing me they can force entry etc when I had not had any appointments or even letters prior to it to arrange for the service to be done. Lastly the services I have had take mere minutes to carry out, not once during any service has the magna clean filter been cleaned. All they done is take notes of the readings of the psi etc. To the point now where I want to tell my landlord to send different gas engineers. Yearly evry 10months not 12 so every 6th year they get paid for a service that is not needed. It wouldn't be me paying them for the poor service and non turning up staff and the letters of harrasment for no reason at all.
