Always very fast service, nice atmosphere and the most delicious pancakes and waffles! I recommend it.

I do like their food and their prices are reasonable but their service is not always the greatest. I have received good service and not so great service. I think that they could use some help in their customers service area, servers and hosts.

The food at IHOP is just amazing. Pancakes and shakes are my favorite. The only problem I have is the attitude of staff. Basics of service is missing. Almost every time i go there, tables are not cleaned. I will give them one more chance and if service does not get better no more will I return.

Wonderful meal. Service was excellent. Manager A.J. is doing a fabulous job of revamping the staff with TOP of the line skills coupled with great manners.
Best pancakes ever, all 4 means ordered were fabulous.

Sure wish I could leave a MINUS ZERO! If you think you know what IHOP stands
for, you would be wrong! It really stands for I Have One Purpose (to make money!) When you read this account, think of this happening to your Mother, Sister, Wife or Girlfriend. As my husband and I finished our cold meal, we noticed a waitress cleaning the floor right near our booth with a little dustpan and brush. We decided to let her pass before we got up to leave.
My husband went to pay the bill, and I stood up along the side of the table to
wait for him. When I switched from one leg to the other, my foot slipped on some
sticky or gooey substance on the floor, and I lost my balance and fell straight back.
In the process, my back hit directly on the floor, and my head bounced off of the iron
legs of the table next to our booth.
I was screaming in pain, and everyone came running, including my husband.
A waitress called an ambulance, and they took me to the Trauma Center. I was
in and out of consciousness from that point until 2 days later waking up in the
Hospital. I sustained 2 concussions, and a fractured back. This happened in July
of 2018, and I am still in pain every sngle day!
A week later, upon returning home, I contacted IHOP Corporate Office to
find out how to open a claim, and the correct mailing address. The Representative
who answered the phone was very sympathetic, and told me to send the report,
and all my information, and they would handle it. A couple of weeks later, I called
to ask the status of my claim. I was told that IHOP is not responsible for my case
because their "investigator" said I lost my balance. That seems to prove my case...
exactly! I slipped on some sticky residue, and lost my balance!
When calling an attorney, I found out that in this great State of North
Carolina, the government is on the side of "Big Business." The injured party
has to prove their case. Excuse me! While I was on the floor screaming in pain,
I did not think about whipping out my cell phone to take a picture of the slop
that caused me to fall! On any given day, you will find syrup, eggs, butter,
cream, jam (and who knows what else?) on the floor of the IHOP in Shelby.
Their are plenty of other places to eat in Shelby,NC.
So, I am asking anyone who has had a similar experience to please post
a review. No one else needs to suffer continuously for months like I have. The
Manager at IHOP did not even have the decency comp our mea!l My husband
paid for it as the ambulance was rushing me to the Hospital.

Their burgers are amazing! They are so juicy and full of flavor! What makes the burger for me and this has always been the case is their hamburger rolls - there is honestly something about them that I have always loved.

Shawnee location doesn’t have a phone? Went out with friends for the first time in a long time and IHOP pancakes would of been the cherry on top since it’s my friends birthday. I sat on the phone for 20 minutes tryna order pancakes for her so we didn’t have to take her in “intoxicated” and we get her home sooner, safely. As much as I hate McDonald’s, I guess that’ll have to do.

This review deals with HOP #3059 in Bridgeport West Virginia. Food, service, and management is excellent. If our order needs modified or cooked over. A cook comes to our table. Our store manager is always on his game. Our IHOP is always clean and ready for business. Thank you Mike!

I know I should not expect much from iHop, their menu is a corporate committee decision implemented by the lowest bidder. They have a promise that is undelivered. I've visited iHop scantly over the 40years and always have an unremarkable experience. I typically visit after I've forgotten the previous experience. I think iHop has this idea that bland dishes, with scant seasoning is a good way to save costs and salt, pepper and a few bottles of hot sauces is sufficient to compensate for blandness. My most recent experience was particularly marginalizing and unsatisfying. Here's list of issues I called out on the survey from the receipt.
1. I asked for a quite location, I was seated at a table in the center of the restaurant that became progressively louder.
2. The bathroom was disheveled, toilet seat detaching.
3. No posted wifi password and because the room was so loud, could not accurately hear the staff I asked for it.
4. No place to secure my bicycle, I had to use unoccupied outside benches.
5. I was not asked if I was an club member
6. Low menu diversity and unsatisfying menu options, and customizing what I wanted was going to cost more than I wanted to pay.
7. Low flavor meal, the water had more taste than the sandwich, all I could detect was the American cheese. The bread looked nice.
8. Plugged shakers, the pepper was coarser than the openings in the top, I had to unscrew the top to be able to add it to my meal.
9. Scant and paltry sides and add-ins. for $1 extra I got tablespoon of mushrooms added to the sanwich, the onions and mushrooms were only sufficient to be symbolic. I think there was meat in the sandwich. The hash-browns were as thin as a veneer, barely browned and smaller than the the bread.
10. The onion rings were low flavor, under cooked and had a pasty texture and flour flavor. I ate only one.
11. waitress did not ask me about the onion rings when she cleared the table.
12. The register receipts print poorly and are difficult to read, the paper fades quickly shows stains prominently.
13. The waitress did not respond when I bid here good evening.
14. Not enough time to finish issue listing or enough text to list all issues.

Nearly empty restaurant order came out wrong from the beginning and incomplete. When asked for a manager no manager on duty. Location 2445 N University Drive. Sunrise FL.

Everytime I have mistakenly given IHOP a chance in the last decade I am disappointed beyond belief. I have never once sat down, ordered, and actually eaten within an hours time frame. It seems across the board the only requirement to work here is being more lazy than the last person. Across 4 states, probably 10 cities there is not one location I would revisit. Just plain ridiculous for an old-school name to have fallen this far.

IHOP has good food and friendly good service. My problem is cleanliness. Almost every time we go there is a dirty fork or table is not that clean or a sticky seat. I just hope the food in the back is getting more attention.

I was having a craving for breakfast for lunch so went into Ihop on a busy sunday afternoon. The wait was barely over 10 min even though they where Slammed with customers. The coffee was fresh and delicious. The food was even better. Like I said they had loads of customers but the staff was really up beat and happy and the food was great at a great price. Yup, I will be going back again and again

On Sunday 10/08/2014 the wife and I went for brunch at store #306 in Abbotsford BC. We decided we would both have the SR FISH&CHIPS IN BEER BATTER @ $9.99 EACH.
When the young lady brought the order I started laughing and my wife could not believe her eyes. There it was a piece of Beer Battered fish about 3 and 1/2 inches long with chips a piece of toast and some tarter sauce. I suggest that at half the price and put on the child's menu it would still be overpriced.
We have eaten in IHOP restaurants fromYuma to Canada and enjoyed every meal but I couldn't let this one pass . James Barley

I walked in and ordered a Belgium Waffle Combo and paid via debit card at IHOP 00939 located at 12623 Norwalk Blvd in Norwalk Ca. I waited 45 minutes and they did not deliver so I asked for my money back and they refused. The Manager (Mark Romero) is inconsiderate toward customers and would not give me the franchise owners phone number so I could complain! Another gentleman ahead of me waited an hour to receive his food and he complained also to no avail. When I asked for my money back he offered me a rain check to come back at a later time!
